That's back to back two-hit games for Tejada, who's staking a modest claim to regular at-bats at the hot corner. His .245/.344/.377 slash line on the season isn't great, but it's better than any of the Mets' other current options right now.

Manager Terry Collins stuck by Tejada at short most of the 2014 season, but the skipper's patience eventually wore thin as Tejada continued to struggle at the dish and the team moved on to Wilmer Flores in August.
