Thu Jan 29 201512:38Deng (calf) ruled out for Friday's game against Mavericks
Deng (calf) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Mavericks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Deng will miss a second straight game with a calf injury, meaning Danny Granger will likely notch another start at small forward. Deng should be considered day-to-day, though the fact that he's been ruled out well in advance of Friday's contest doesn't bode well for his status for Sunday's game in Boston.

Deng (calf) will not play in Tuesday's game, the Sun-Sentinel's Ira Winderman reports.
He was doubtful, so this should not come as a surprise. Look for Danny Granger to slot into his spot, although do not expect much more than three-point shooting from Granger in daily leagues. Consider Deng day-to-day.

Deng has struggled with his consistency this season, but when he is on, he is a fantasy force. Though he won't score 23 points every night, he does usually provide double-digit assists while also contributing in three-pointers, assists, and steals.

Deng (illness) is expected to play Friday against the Pacers, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Deng (illness) will not travel with the Heat for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

Deng (illness) managed to play 29 minutes Tuesday, scoring eight points to go along with four rebounds and an assist.
Deng was questionable coming into Tuesday's contest after missing Monday's practice with an illness. He played slightly less minutes than usual Tuesday and his production was pedestrian, but he should round back into form soon. As long as he's ready to play again Wednesday, he could be a good option against Charlotte.

Deng has now had three disappointing games in a row for his fantasy owners. He's still getting plenty of minutes and will have the opportunity to get back on track, but for now he barely has top-50 value for his position on the player rater.

Deng scored 6 points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), to go along with three assists, one rebound, two steals, and a block in 25 minutes on Sunday.
Deng had a bad night shooting the ball, but still got some defensive stats to have a salvageable game. Deng's season has really been up and down through the year, but has also done enough to remain a valuable fantasy option. With his ability to contribute basic stats across the board he's a solid player, but not anyone that will impress owners.

Deng scored 23 points (9-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT) and added four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks in 34 minutes of action on Tuesday against the Suns.
This is the best line Deng has put up in quite some time. In the last two weeks, prior to this game, Deng's highest scoring night was 13 points against the Grizzlies. This was a nice bounce back game and as long as he can stay healthy he will continue to play solid fantasy games.

Deng (hand) is considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies.
Deng is still nursing a bruised right hand, which kept him out of Friday's loss to the Bucks. He'll likely test it out during shootaround, and a final call on his status likely won't come until just before game time. Josh McRoberts (illness) is also considered questionable, so the Heat may be shorthanded on the wing.

Deng was officially listed as active for Friday's matchup against the Bucks, but ended up not playing in the contest. Consider him a game-time decision for Sunday's game against Memphis, but even if he does suit up, it may be in a limited capacity.
