Tue Jan 10 201218:55Chris Singleton starting again on Tuesday
Chris Singleton will start over Rashard Lewis on Tuesday against the Raptors.
Flip Saunders hinted at a lineup shakeup, and both Lewis and Andray Blatche have been sent to the bench. Trevor Booker will start over Blatche while Singleton will get the nod ahead of Lewis. The rookie started on Sunday and played 40 minutes, posting three points (1-of-8 shooting) with seven rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block. If he's going to continue starting ahead of Lewis, he could emerge as a very interesting player to own because of his ability to contribute across the stat sheet. Keep an eye on him.

Sun Jan 8 201216:12Chris Singleton has dud in first career start
Chris Singleton played 40 minutes in a start for Rashard Lewis (knee) on Sunday, but had just three points (1-of-8 shooting), seven rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block.
Singleton flashed some intrigue for owners in his reserve role, but he flopped in a big way during his first career start. The entire Wizards offense was hapless on Sunday so we'll give him a pass, but he is going to have to improve in order to be relevant outside of very deep leagues.

Sun Jan 8 201213:06C. Singleton moves into Wizards starting five
Chris Singleton replaced Rashard Lewis (knee) in the Wizards' starting lineup on Sunday.
Singleton is currently averaging 5.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 20 minutes per game, but he's also chipping in 1.0 threes and 1.3 steals. He could be a nice plug-and-play if Lewis misses more games, but the imminent return of rookie forward Jan Vesely reduces the odds of Singleton having reliable value.

Sat Jan 7 201200:50Singleton shows up in game vs. Knicks
Chris Singleton scored eight points on 3-of-5 shooting with seven rebounds, one assist, three steals, and two blocks in 27 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Knicks.
Singleton was used to try to cover Carmelo Anthony, and while Singleton will be a defensive stud one day it was too much to ask tonight. Keep an eye on him the next few games, but it's hard to get too excited knowing that Jan Vesely (hip) is almost back.
