Quick was the primary recipient of Sam Bradford's downfield throws in Tuesday's practice, ESPN.com reports.
Quick has always shown a lot of potential in practice but has yet to cultivate it in games. He didn't have a game with more than 45 yards receiving last season, and Rams fans are getting impatient with the third-year player. He's in the mix for the top few wideout spots but needs to show his mettle in games.
Wed Jun 18 201414:11Brian Quick 'most improved player' for Rams
Rams OC Brian Schottenheimer called third-year WR Brian Quick the "most improved player I've seen" at OTAs.
Quick is becoming a bit of a summer superstar in shorts and t-shirts. It didn't translate to the field last season, and we're not taking the bait this year until he proves it in September. With Kenny Britt, a similar player to Quick, now in the fold, Quick's snaps may be even harder to come by in 2014. Quick has mostly been a red-zone-only option since being the No. 33 overall pick in 2012.

Wed Apr 2 201408:11Brian Quick to battle Kenny Britt for reps?
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch expects Brian Quick's playing time to suffer most if the Kenny Britt signing works out.
In two seasons since getting selected 33rd overall, Quick has totaled just 29 catches for 458 yards and four touchdowns. And like Britt, he's a big-bodied outside receiver that profiles as an "X" receiver. If Britt's knee is right and his head is on straight, Quick may not even get the 361 snaps he saw in 2013.

Sun Dec 29 201319:53Brian Quick held catch-less in Week 17
Brian Quick was held without a catch on one target in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks.
The 33rd pick in the 2012 draft, Quick is the most talented of St. Louis' receivers but the light has yet to flip on for the mild-mannered Appalachian Stat alum. Quick ends his second NFL season with 18 receptions for 302 yards and two touchdowns. The Rams have publicly compared Quick to Vincent Jackson, who similarly began his career slowly. We like Quick's Dynasty upside, but he's clearly not yet been ready for prime time. He'll be a late-round flier in 2014 re-draft leagues.

Sun Dec 1 201320:14Brian Qucik catches late touchdown in loss
Brian Quick caught three passes for 41 yards and one touchdown in Week 13 against the 49ers.
Quick saw four targets on the day, with him mostly getting his action in garbage time. That's when the touchdown came. Quick reeled in a three-yard touchdown on a fade pass with 18 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Quick remains intriguing in dynasty formats, but he's not on the re-draft radar.

Sun Nov 3 201316:14Quick goes for 30 yards on 2 receptions
Brian Quick caught two balls for 30 yards in the Rams' Week 9 loss to the Titans.
Quick outproduced Austin Pettis (1-13), behind whom he's played all season. Quick remains an intriguing long-term talent, but he's the Rams' No. 4 receiver behind Pettis, Chris Givens, and Tavon Austin in a Kellen Clemens-quarterbacked offense. Quick is only worth owning in Dynasty leagues.

Brian Quick had one catch for 12 yards in Thursday night's Week 4 loss to the 49ers.

Sun Sep 22 201318:38Quick catches one pass in Week 3 loss
Brian Quick caught one pass for seven yards in Sunday's Week 3 loss to Dallas.
Quick was targeted four times on the day. He saw two end-zone throws come his way, and then dropped a quick slant. Quick isn't going to leapfrog Austin Pettis by dropping passes. He remains off the re-draft radar.

Sun Sep 8 201320:38Brian Quick held to one catch in Week 1 win
Brian Quick caught one pass for 16 yards in St. Louis' Week 1 win over the Cardinals.
Quick racked up some major yards after the catch on his grab, but was targeted only twice, and remained a bit player. With Tavon Austin and Jared Cook joining Chris Givens as big-play threats for Sam Bradford, Quick is going to have a hard time establishing value in re-draft leagues.

Sun Sep 1 201313:28Rams to use Brian Quick in red-zone packages
The Rams are expected to use second-year WR Brian Quick in "select situations," like red-zone packages.
Quick has some Marques Colston to his game and goes 6-foot-4, 220. Although he was unable to unseat Austin Pettis for a starting job in training camp, ESPN Rams beat writer Nick Wagoner believes Quick "has a chance to break through to the starting lineup at some point opposite (Chris) Givens." Quick is still squarely on the fantasy radar and worth rostering in deep leagues.

Sat Aug 24 201323:18Brian Quick works strictly with 2s and 3s
Brian Quick caught two passes for 24 yards in the Rams' third preseason game against the Broncos.
Quick worked exclusively with the second and third teams on Saturday night, and he still appears to be a ways behind Austin Pettis on the depth chart. Quick was targeted three times on the night, and he dropped a two-point conversion with less than two minutes left in the game that would have put the Rams up by one point. A fantasy breakout doesn't appear to be on the horizon in 2013.

Tue Aug 20 201314:55Rams WRs coach pleased with Quick's progress
Rams WRs coach Ray Sherman is pleased with Brian Quick's progress.
"I am very pleased with what he's doing," Sherman said. "He's a guy that before I might have to tell him a couple times to do something but now you can tell him one time and he gets it and understands what he needs to do. I am really impressed with the way he's coming around." Quick has caught just three passes for 47 yards in the preseason, and is running with the second-team offense. He doesn't appeared headed for a redraft-league breakout.

Thu Aug 8 201322:21Quick impressive in preseason opener for Rams
Brian Quick caught two passes for 27 yards on four targets in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Browns.
Quick didn't receive any first-team snaps. He played behind Austin Pettis, as expected, but Pettis was unimpressive, dropping his lone target. Quick did well to come back to the ball, but he did kind of quit running on a deep ball that might have gone for a long touchdown. Coach Jeff Fisher wants Quick to play through fatigue, and it looked like he battled it a bit versus Cleveland.

Mon Aug 5 201301:33Brian Quick is the Rams' No. 4 receiver
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, second-year WR Brian Quick is "clearly" not one of the Rams' top three receivers at this point.
Quick has "made strides but still has work to do" to pass Chris Givens, Tavon Austin, or Austin Pettis. Quick excels at red-zone fade patterns, but isn't catching the football consistently enough or using his size regularly to his advantage. It should be noted Quick is seeing first-team reps, so the Rams are trying to work him in. He dropped two passes in Saturday's intrasquad scrimmage.

Mon Jul 22 201313:25Demoff: Rams not down on Brian Quick
Rams COO Kevin Demoff insists the team is not down on second-year WR Brian Quick despite his running as the team's No. 4 wideout at OTAs.
Quick maintains big-time talent, and the Rams aren't giving up on him after a slow rookie season. We'll find out a lot about Quick this August. "I know a lot was made that he was supposedly the 'fourth receiver' but I don't know how that story got legs and took on a life of its own," said Demoff. "Brian Quick has had a very strong offseason and we're excited about his progress."

Sun Jul 21 201309:47Brian Quick was inconsistent during OTAs
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, second-year WR Brian Quick flashed "big-play ability" at OTAs, but continued to experience "periods of inconsistency."
The 33rd overall pick in last year's draft, Quick struggled to comprehend Brian Schottenheimer's playbook as a rookie and remains a work in progress entering his second NFL training camp. Quick offers a lot of sleeper appeal, but obviously still needs to earn playing time. He's battling Austin Pettis for a starting job.

Tue Jul 16 201318:39Brian Quick not listed as projected starter
Brian Quick isn't listed as a "projected starter" on the Rams' training camp depth chart.
Quick is relegated to "key contributor" status. Summer depth charts are little more than coach-fueled propaganda, but it's at least confirmation the Rams have no plans to hand Quick a starting job despite their major need on the outside. Quick ended OTAs No. 4 on the depth chart even though he was reportedly turning heads. Few teams have as much to sort out in camp as St. Louis.
