Tue Apr 2 201321:36Nate Robinson scores 17 points vs. Wizards
Nate Robinson played 33 minutes off the bench against the Wizards on Tuesday, scoring 17 points with two boards, three assists and one 3-pointer on 7-of-16 shooting.
He's never been much of a disciplined player, but Nate was pulling up from all over the court tonight. He attempted 13 of his 16 shots from beyond 15 feet and coach Tom Thibodeau was showing some of his frustration. There's nothing to worry about and the Bulls will need Nate with most of their backcourt out with injuries.

Sat Mar 30 201316:43Nate Robinson makes all seven 3PAs, scores 25
Nate Robinson came into Dallas with his guns blazing on Saturday, making all seven 3-point attempts for 25 points with three boards and one steal on 9-of-16 shooting.
It was getting a little ludicrous late in the game and Nate even buried a 33-foot triple off the dribble in the fourth quarter. Kirk Hinrich's return hasn't hurt Nate too bad and he's worth starting in all leagues while he's hot like this. The Bulls take on Detroit on Sunday.

Thu Mar 28 201301:35Nate Robinson scores 14 points off bench
Nate Robinson scored 14 points off the bench on Wednesday, adding three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes in a shocking 101-97 win over the Heat.
He provided a spark for the Bulls and made a high-arching floater late in the game that can be considered the back-breaker for Miami. Robinson is in a timeshare with Kirk Hinrich and both cancel each other out in standard leagues. Hinrich made some big plays and finished with seven points, five boards, six assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.

Sun Mar 24 201321:39Nate Robinson blows up for 22 & 10 off bench
Nate Robinson, who avoided further punishment for his Flagrant-2 foul on Saturday, finished a win over the Wolves with 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting, four 3-pointers and 10 assists.
Nate's value takes a substantial hit as long as he's stuck in the second unit behind Kirk Hinrich, though (as tonight proves) his numbers as a reserve can still be useful in many formats. In 46 games off the bench this season, he's averaging 11.1 points, 1.3 threes, 2.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.8 steals in 20 minutes per game.

Sat Mar 23 201323:59Nate Robinson ejected after Flagrant-2 foul
Nate Robinson had nine points and five assists before being ejected from Saturday's game after a Flagrant-2 foul.
Nate yanked down a streaking Lance Stephenson from behind, causing Stephenson to tumble awkwardly and nearly hit his head on the court. The NBA reviews all flagrant fouls as a matter of course, and we'll let you know if they decide that it warrants further punishment. Follow the link for video of the foul.

Thu Mar 21 201323:05Nate Robinson plays 31 minutes off bench
Nate Robinson moved back to the bench on Thursday, playing 31 minutes with eight points, one board and nine assists against Portland.
It was Kirk Hinrich's first game back and the Bulls said they were going to limit Kirk in his debut. Robinson's minutes are going to take a bit of a hit and with Derrick Rose still at least trying to rehab and come back, Robinson could be a dicey player to own. Although, he should remain owned in standard leagues.

Tue Mar 19 201301:12Nate-Rob goes nuts with 34 points, seven asts
Nate Robinson scored 34 points on 13-of-22 shooting (including six treys) with seven assists and two steals in Monday's overtime loss to the Nuggets.
Robinson is cruising right now and owners simply have to hang on and hope that Derrick Rose doesn't return to spoil his party. Kirk Hinrich (foot) has been near a return for seemingly forever, which also threatens to steal away Lil' Him's value.

Sat Mar 16 201310:27Nate Robinson earns rare praise for defense
Nate Robinson had 20 points and seven assists vs. the Warriors on Friday, but it was his defense that most impressed Tom Thibodeau.
"The one thing that stood out, Nate was really into the ball," said Thibodeau. "I thought his ball pressure was very good. We've got to do that all the time." Nate is a solid fantasy option as long as Kirk Hinrich (foot) is sidelined, but Hinrich could return as soon as Monday.

Sat Mar 16 201301:11Robinson scores 20 points with seven assists
Nate Robinson scored 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds, seven assists and one steal against the Warriors on Friday.
The Warriors' defense is miserable and Robinson exploited his old teammates tonight. With Kirk Hinrich's health always in doubt, he should be owned in standard formats.

Thu Mar 14 201302:14Nate Robinson scores 19 points vs. Kings
Nate Robinson shot 7-of-9 from the field for 19 points with one board, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes against the Kings on Wednesday.
The Bulls were in Bizzaro World on Wednesday with Nate shooting 77.8 percent and the other Bulls shooting 33.7 percent from the field. Nate shot an ugly 33.3 percent from the field in his previous 10 games, which helps explain why the Bulls are shooting a league-low 40 percent from the field in March. Robinson is worth owning in standard leagues while Derrick Rose and Kirk Hinrich are out.

Sun Mar 10 201318:19Nate Robinson scores 19 vs. Lakers
Nate Robinson scored 19 points with four boards, eight assists, four steals and two 3-pointers in 43 minutes against the Lakers on Sunday.
His eight dimes and 43 minutes are the most since February 8 and the Bulls are going to lean on Nate with Kirk Hinrich. Derrick Rose said he isn't mentally ready, which means Robinson should be active in most leagues right now.

Sat Mar 9 201302:38Robinson posts 14-6-7 line in win vs. UTA
Nate Robinson scored 14 points on 4-of-13 shooting (1-of-8 3PTS, 5-of-6 FTs) with six rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 36 minutes in Friday's close win against the Jazz.
Robinson had split time with Marquis Teague the last time out, but Teague played just four minutes tonight and Tom Thibodeau interestingly went without either PG for about eight minutes tonight. Lil' Him should be owned until Derrick Rose steps back on the court.

Wed Mar 6 201323:57Robinson struggles in timeshare w/ Teague
Nate Robinson started with Kirk Hinrich sidelined with a foot injury, but hit just 3-of-13 shots and a 3-pointer for seven points, five assists, a steal and a block in just 24 minutes.
Marquis Teague also played 24 minutes and had 11 points, three boards, three assists, a steal and three 3-pointers on 4-of-8 shooting, as the Bulls patiently await the debut of Derrick Rose. Teague and Robinson appear to be locked into a timeshare until Rose and Hinrich are ready, which makes both of them pretty shaky fantasy plays right now, while things are bound to get more crowded in the near future. However, had Robinson's shot been falling, his line would have looked much better.

Sun Mar 3 201322:46Nate Robinson stinks with Kirk out Sunday
Nate Robinson played 20 minutes in a start at point guard and had just six points, one board, six assists and one steal against the Pacers on Sunday.
It wasn't a good night for Lil' Him. In his 15 previous starts, Robinson averaged 13.5 points, 6.5 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.8 triples in 33.5 minutes. Perhaps it was just a matchup play by Tom Thibodeau and we still like Robinson as a nice pickup while Kirk Hinrich is on the mend. Marquis Teague played 28 minutes and didn't do much with two points, three boards, three assists, one steal and five fouls.

Wed Feb 27 201300:06Nate Robinson plays just 15 minutes in loss
Nate Robinson played just 15 minutes and had five points, two assists and a 3-pointer on 2-of-6 shooting in Tuesday's loss to the Cavaliers.
Robinson will take a hit if Kirk Hinrich can stay healthy, and Hinrich had 11 points and 11 assists in 33 minutes tonight. Hinrich had missed 10 of his last 11 games with various injuries, so he's far from a picture of health. But on nights when Hinrich is starting, Robinson should probably be on fantasy benches. Given Hinrich's fragile status, owners of Robinson should think twice before dropping him for a hot free agent, but it might make sense to do so.

Mon Feb 25 201300:09Nate Robinson scores 13 points vs. Thunder
Nate Robinson scored 13 points on the strength of 8-of-9 free throws vs. the Thunder, adding three rebounds, five assists and three steals in another start at PG.
Unfortunately, Nate also missed 12 of his 14 field goal attempts and he's now shooting 30.1 percent in the past five games. Streaky shooting is tolerable as long as Nate is starting -- the real threat to his value is Kirk Hinrich's eventual return from his lingering elbow injury, and Hinrich is listed as day-to-day.

Fri Feb 22 201323:58Nate Robinson scores 12 in win over Bobs
Nate Robinson made another start at point guard Friday and had 12 points, four assists, a steal and a 3-pointer on 5-of-11 shooting in 24 minutes.
More minutes would have been nice, as Kirk Hinrich was out again with his elbow injury. Hinrich is day-to-day and if he is ever able to stay healthy, Robinson's value is going to take a hit. Nate-Rob wasn't great tonight, but as long as he's starting, or coming off the bench and getting heavy minutes, he's still worth hanging onto until we find out if Hinrich (and Derrick Rose) are ever going to start playing on a regular basis. Hinrich has missed nine of his last 10 games.

Thu Feb 21 201323:07Nate Robinson scores 14 points in start
Nate Robinson started for the injured Kirk Hinrich (elbow) and played 29 minutes in a loss to the Heat on Thursday, scoring 14 points with one rebound, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.
Hinrich's elbow doesn't sound like it's getting better and Nate could be able to retain the starting job for at least the next few games. His long-term value isn't great, but Lil' Him should be in all lineups while Hinrich is out.

Wed Feb 20 201300:07Nate Robinson struggles off Bulls' bench
Nate Robinson was benched in favor of a healthy Kirk Hinrich on Tuesday and hit just 2-of-9 shots for six points and a steal, and didn't make a 3-pointer in a win over the Hornets.
Robinson was on fire coming into this one, but the benching obviously took a toll. He's still worth holding in most leagues as an insurance policy, as Hinrich will likely have trouble staying healthy and Derrick Rose may not even play this season. But Robinson will be a tough player to start in fantasy as long as he's coming off the bench behind a healthy Hinrich.
