Wed Feb 13 201323:21Nate Robinson has an off game vs. Boston
Nate Robinson shot 2-of-7 from the field for six points with three rebounds, six assists, two steals and one 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Celtics on Wednesday.
He played just nine minutes in the first half and it wasn't due to foul trouble. Nate did get 20 minutes in the second half, so the quiet line shouldn't reflect his value. He also got a boost with a dark cloud now hovering over the possibility of Derrick Rose not returning this season. Lil' Him should be owned in all leagues.

Mon Feb 11 201323:55Nate Robinson goes for 20 & 7 in loss
Nate Robinson hit 8-f-15 shots and a 3-pointer for 20 points, two rebounds, seven assists, three steals and a block in Monday's loss to the Spurs.
He played 39 minutes, has been on his best behavior all season, and will continue to be a must-own player until Derrick Rose finally returns from knee surgery. And even when Rose returns, it could take him some time to get back to speed, meaning Robinson will likely hold some fantasy value until the end of the season.

Sat Feb 9 201303:16Lil' Him keeps it rolling with 18 and nine
Nate Robinson scored 18 points on 7-of-17 shooting (including four threes) with four rebounds and nine assists in Friday's win over the Jazz.
This is the Lil' Him we were talking about earlier in the year, and he's a must-start player until either Kirk Hinrich or Derrick Rose returns. Luol Deng scored 15 points with 10 boards and four assists, and Carlos Boozer had 19 points and five rebounds in his return to Utah.

Fri Feb 8 201301:13Nate Robinson scores 14 points Thursday
Nate Robinson shot 5-of-8 from the field for 14 points to go with one rebound, six assists and three 3-pointers against Denver on Thursday.
He scored all of his 14 in the first half and Tom Thibodeau had his eye on Friday's matchup at Utah, pulling most of his guys in the third quarter with the game out of game. Nate should be in all lineups while Kirk Hinrich is out.

Mon Feb 4 201322:48Nate Robinson scores 19 with full line
Nate Robinson filled the stat sheet on Monday with 19 points, five boards, nine assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes against the Pacers.
He's on fire in his last five games, averaging 18.0 points, 7.2 assists, 2.6 steals and 2.4 treys in 35 minutes. Kirk Hinrich (elbow) will miss at least a week with his injury and Nate Robinson should be in all lineups.

Sat Feb 2 201322:09Nate Robinson scores 20 pts w/ eight dimes
The Bulls surged past the Hawks on Saturday with a new-look lineup featuring Nate Robinson at PG -- he finished with 20 points, four 3-pointers, two rebounds, eight assists and three steals.
Injuries have forced Tom Thibodeau to shuffle his lineups, and Nate is taking full advantage of heavy minutes while Kirk Hinrich (elbow) and Derrick Rose (knee) continue to rehab. With Hinrich expected to miss at least a week, and Rose probably a few weeks away, Nate should be a nice fantasy option until at least the All-Star break.

Sat Feb 2 201300:18Robinson scores 12 points with 11 assists
Nate Robinson hit just 4-of-16 shots for 12 points in Friday's loss to the Nets, adding four rebounds, 11 assists, and one steal in another start with Kirk Hinrich out.
This won't go down in the Robinson family scrap book but Lil' Him is finally doing what owners hoped he would during previous Hinrich absences. Hang onto him until he gives you a reason to drop him in advance of Derrick Rose's pending return.

Thu Jan 31 201300:44Nate Robinson goes off again for bulls
Nate Robinson went off for 24 points, two rebounds, four assists, three steals and two 3-pointers on 9-of-11 shooting in Wednesday's win.
Look out. Nate had a monster line on Monday and is now averaging 18.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers on 55 percent shooting over his last five games. Yeah, he'll take a hit once Derrick Rose is finally back, but Robinson looks like a must-own player right now, and could see minutes at shooting guard (along with Jimmy Butler), once Rose is playing.

Mon Jan 28 201323:48Nate Robinson scores 19 points on Monday
Nate Robinson scored 15 points against the Bobcats on Monday, adding seven rebounds, four assists, three steals, three blocks and three 3-pointer in 26 minutes.
He only had three blocks on the entire season and he was able to block Kemba Walker twice in the win. Nate played with a lot of energy, but he and Kirk Hinrich (eight points, four assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes) basically cancel each other out in standard leagues.

Sat Jan 26 201321:45Nate Robinson scores 19 off Bulls bench
Nate Robinson had 19 points, four assists and a 3-pointer on 8-of-19 shooting in Wednesday's loss to the Wizards.
Despite coming off the bench behind a healthy Kirk Hinrich, Robinson has hit double digits in six straight games, scoring 11 in four straight, and then going for 22 and 19 in his last two. His production should come to a screeching halt if and when Derrick Rose returns from his knee surgery, but until then Nate looks like starter material in most fantasy leagues.

Sat Jan 26 201301:29Robinson scores 22 points off the bench
Nate Robinson scored 22 points off the bench in the Bulls' 103-87 win over the Warriors on Friday, hitting 10-of-16 shots with four rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 21 minutes.
Robinson started cooking against his old team but there's not much to read into beyond that. With inconsistent results this year and Derrick Rose returning at some point, there's not a whole lot to grab onto. Joakim Noah went for 14 and 16 with three blocks, and Carlos Boozer added 15 and 13 with two blocks in the easy win.

Thu Jan 10 201300:57Nate Robinson posts big line in start
Nate Robinson started for Kirk Hinrich (elbow) and had 19 points, five rebounds, six assists, five steals and three 3-pointers on 8-of-17 shooting.
The line is fantastic but the fact the Bulls lost to the Bucks is not great news for those looking for Robinson to replace Hinrich as a starter at some point. Nor is the fact that Derrick Rose is finally inching his way toward a target date for a return. Robinson is still worth owning in all leagues right now, especially with Hinrich hurting (as usual), but he can probably be dropped once Rose is finally back, and proves he can stay healthy.

Wed Jan 2 201308:06Nate Robinson will stick with Bulls
Nate Robinson will remain with the Bulls for the season.
Robinson had to be waived by Tuesday in order to prevent guaranteeing his deal for the remainder of the season, but the Bulls "recognize his scoring prowess and ability to create his own shot on a roster lacking in both areas." It would have been a surprise to see the team waive him.

Mon Dec 31 201218:12Nate Robinson quiet in start at PG on Monday
Nate Robinson started at PG in place of Kirk Hinrich (knee) on Monday, handing out seven assists with three steals, but he scored just five points in 29 minutes.
Nate was given fits by Kemba Walker all game long, finishing 2-of-11 from the field. His 42.5 percent shooting this season exactly matches his career average, and with Hinrich day-to-day he doesn't have a ton of short-term upside.

Sun Dec 30 201213:01Bulls likely to keep Nate Robinson all year
Nate Robinson is playing on a non-guaranteed contract, but he's expected to remain with the Bulls for the rest of the season.
Chicago must waive him before Jan. 10 to prevent his contract from being fully guaranteed. With Derrick Rose (knee) expected out through the All-Star break, however, keeping Nate for the veteran's minimum $854k is an easy decision (he's technically making $1.1 million but the league picks up the rest of the tab -- head directly to ShamSports.com if the minutia of NBA contracts excites you).

Tue Dec 25 201223:01Nate Robinson blows up in garbage time
Nate Robinson got hot once Tuesday's game was completely out of hand and went off for 27 points, four rebounds, three assists, a steal and four 3-pointers on 9-of-16 shooting.
Most of his scoring barrage happened in a five-minute stretch in the second half and helped cut a 34-point deficit down to a more manageable 18. However, it was too little, too late, and the Bulls never got close enough to keep this one interesting. Congratulations if you had Lil' Him in a lineup tonight, and it still makes sense to keep holding him as long as Kirk Hinrich is banged up and not producing at a high level. Hinrich had just four points and four assists in 21 minutes tonight.

Wed Dec 19 201208:08Report: Bulls could cut Nate Robinson soon
The Bulls could cut Nate Robinson before his contract becomes guaranteed for the season, according to beat writer K.C. Johnson.
Robinson had 18 points (five triples) in just 22 minutes against the Celtics on Tuesday, but with the progression of Marquis Teague, Robinson's roster spot could be in jeopardy. The team can waive Robinson without penalty at any point before his deal becomes guaranteed on January 10.

Tue Dec 18 201223:33Nate Robinson hits five 3s, scores 18
Nate Robinson made five 3-pointers and had 18 points, three rebounds and four assists in 22 minutes against the Celtics on Tuesday.
Nate got some minutes at shooting guard tonight with Marquis Teague running the point for a handful of minutes. Nate's upside isn't that high considering that he wasn't able to build value with Kirk Hinrich out of the lineup. Even though this was a big game for Lil Him, we'd view him as more of a stash player in deeper formats.

Mon Dec 17 201223:58Robinson goes quiet against the Grizzlies
Nate Robinson scored four points on 2-of-5 shooting with two assists and one steal in 17 minutes on Monday.
Kirk Hinrich returned but was awful, too, and this outing isn't doing Robinson any favors after he was just 'okay' while Hinrich was out. He's still a stash candidate with Hinrich's injury history, but he's just a low-to-medium upside stash until he proves otherwise.

Sat Dec 15 201223:03Nate Robinson struggles w/ fouls vs. Nets
Nate Robinson struggled with foul trouble vs. the Nets' backcourt on Saturday, finishing with just six points with five assists in 28 minutes.
Deron Williams and Joe Johnson presented an rough matchup for Nate and Marco Belinelli, but in spite of Nate's foul trouble the Bulls played them to a standstill and escaped with a one-point win. Nate should will continue to start at PG for any games Kirk Hinrich (knee) misses, but Hinrich is day-to-day.
