Wed May 15 201321:49Robinson, Boozer strong, but Bulls lose 4-1
Nate Robinson and Carlos Boozer played very well for the Bulls in Wednesday's Game 5, but their efforts weren't enough to stop the Heat from a comeback 94-91 win to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Robinson hit some great shots and helped keep the Bulls alive late, finishing with 21 points, five rebounds, six assists and four 3-pointers on 6-of-15 shooting, while Boozer went off, especially in the first half, to finish with 26 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and a block on 10-of-19 shooting in the loss. Jimmy Butler added 19 points and Rip Hamilton came alive with 15 points, in what may have been his last hurrah. The Bulls will be left wondering what could have been if Derrick Rose would have been available in the playoffs.

Tue May 14 201309:04Nate Robinson injures shoulder in Game 4
Nate Robinson injured his left shoulder in Monday's Game 4 loss to Miami.
Now down 3-1 in the series, the Bulls are fighting for their lives. Robinson hurt his shoulder on a trap play where LeBron James went for a breakaway dunk, and he was seen wearing an enormous wrap on the are after the action concluded. It's not clear if his status is in jeopardy for Game 5, but the Bulls can't afford any other injuries at point guard. Marquis Teague would be forced into a starting role without Robinson.

Mon May 13 201321:28Nate Robinson misses all 12 shots in loss
Nate Robinson failed to score in Monday's ugly loss to the Heat, shooting 0-of-12 with three boards, four assists, two steals, one block and four turnovers in 32 minutes.
He's had some highs and lows in the playoffs, but this low is likely going to be his last game in front of the home crowd. Only two of Nate's 12 shots came from within nine feet and he couldn't quite penetrate the Miami defense like he did in Game 1. Not having Kirk Hinrich has been costly for the Bulls and they'll try to stay alive in Miami on Wednesday.

Fri May 10 201323:05Nate Robinson scores 17 points in loss
Nate Robinson scored 17 points on 5-of-13 shooting in Friday's loss to the Heat to go with six boards, seven assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer.
He struggled with his jumper, shooting 1-of-9 on shots outside of the paint. Robinson has never been the bashful type and he's going to shoot his way out of his slumps more often than not, so he should have an itchy trigger finger for Game 4 on Monday.

Wed May 8 201321:51Nate Robinson cools off in ugly loss at AAA
Nate Robinson cooled off in an embarrassing 115-78 loss to the Heat on Wednesday, scoring 11 points with three boards, two assists, two 3-pointers and four turnovers in 33 minutes.
He was on fire in Monday's win, but the law of averages suggests that Nate was going to have a sub-par outing tonight. The Bulls were completely out of rhythm on offense for most of the game with just two fastbreak points and shooting 35.5 percent from the field.

Wed May 8 201315:24Nate Robinson an option for Mavs in offseason
Tim McMahon of ESPN Dallas suggests the Mavericks could target Nate Robinson in the offseason.
The Mavs, along with the rest of the NBA, had their chance to snag Robinson last summer but passed in part due to Delonte West's presence. Once the Mavs parted ways with West before the season, they struggled to find a sufficient backup to point guard Darren Collison, a role in which Robinson has excelled in this season, especially in the playoffs. Unfortunately for Dallas, as McMahon points out, Robinson's current postseason excellence likely puts him out of the "backup point guard" price range this summer.

Mon May 6 201322:37Nate Robinson scores 27 points in Game 1 win
Nate Robinson scored a game-high 27 points in Game 1's surprising win over the Heat to go with three boards, nine assists, one steal and three 3-pointers on 8-of-16 shooting.
He was outstanding in the second half, shooting 7-of-11 from the field for 24 points. The Bulls went on an offensive tear in the fourth quarter with 35 points, which was more than double their second-quarter total of 16 points. The annoying Derrick Rose cloud hanging over Nate probably just got smaller and he's been one of the best players this postseason. As a nice little cherry on top, Nate received 10 stitches on his lip for a laceration.

Mon May 6 201320:25Nate Robinson gets cut on lip Monday
Nate Robinson suffered a laceration on his lip in the first half on Monday's game and the training staff is attempting to patch him up.
The TNT broadcast indicated that it was pretty bad and the bleeding hasn't stopped yet. Robinson should get some time to get it treated during halftime and the Bulls will need him. Marquis Teague is the last man left standing at point guard.

Fri May 3 201313:49Nate Robinson feeling better, good for Game 7
Nate Robinson (illness) is feeling better and is expected to play in Game 7 vs. Brooklyn.
Robinson was throwing up on the bench mid-game during a tough Game 6 loss on Thursday night, and if he was able to play through that (42 minutes), we have little doubt he'll be ready for the next one.

Thu May 2 201323:16Nate Robinson plays through illness in loss
Nate Robinson played through an illness during Thursday's Game 6 loss to the Nets, playing 42 minutes for 18 points, two boards, four assists and three 3-pointers on 7-of-15 shooting.
When he was on the bench, Robinson was covered with towels and had a garbage can near him. He was active on offense and was able to penetrate Brooklyn's defense in the gritty effort. Game 7 will be on Saturday and he should feel better at that point.

Thu May 2 201319:34Nate Robinson and Deng listed as starters
Nate Robinson (illness) and Luol Deng (illness) are in the starting lineup to face the Nets in Thursday's Game 6.
Robinson is dealing with an illness, but there was really no way he was going to miss a home playoff game. The Bulls will need him to be close to at 100 percent with their lack of depth in the backcourt. Nate played 44 minutes in Game 5 and really ran out of gas in the loss, so there is a lot riding on him tonight.

Thu May 2 201318:39Nate Robinson also sick, to be game-time call
Nate Robinson has caught whatever bug is running around the Bulls' locker room and is suddenly a game-time decision Thursday night.
With Derrick Rose (knee surgery) and Kirk Hinrich (calf) both ruled out, the Bulls cannot afford for Robinson to be sidelined. Luol Deng and Taj Gibson are also game-time calls Thursday due to an illness and it's possible the Bulls could be even more short-handed than they've been most of this season. Stay tuned and we'll update you the minute we know more. Marquis Teague would start if Robinson is too ill to play.

Mon Apr 29 201321:54Nate Robinson scores 20 in start Monday
Nate Robinson played 44 minutes against the Nets in a Game 5 loss, scoring 20 points with one board, eight assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.
It was the first start of his career and the extra playing time may have taken a toll on Robinson. Kirk Hinrich (calf) did not play tonight and the loss was clearly apparent for the Bulls. Nate has been the Bulls best player in this series, but playing over 40 minutes is a tall order for a guy that averaged just 25.4 minutes per game this regular season. Hinrich should be considered questionable for Thursday's Game 6.

Mon Apr 29 201318:40Nate Robinson will start for Monday's Game 4
Nate Robinson will start Game 4 on Monday as expected.
Kirk Hinrich (calf) is sidelined and Derrick Rose (knee surgery) is still not ready to return, meaning it's Robinson's show to run. Coach Tom Thibodeau initially said he didn't know who would start, but that was more gamesmanship than anything else. Robinson is coming off a ridiculous performance in Saturday's triple-overtime Game 3 victory and should have plenty of opportunities to score again Monday night.

Sat Apr 27 201318:14Nate Robinson scores 34 points in Game 4 win
Nate Robinson scored 23 points in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 142-134 triple-overtime win over the Nets, finishing with 34 points, one board, four assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
His 23 points were just one point shy of Michael Jordan's fourth-quarter postseason record and it matched the entire second-half output of Boston's scoring total in the second half of their Game 2 vs. the Knicks. Robinson was hitting all sorts of crazy shots with his biggest coming on a bank shot in the lane over Deron Williams in the first overtime. The Bulls won't be missing Derrick Rose with performances like this one and they will look to close out the Nets in Brooklyn on Monday.

Sat Apr 20 201322:55Nate Robinson scores 17 points vs. BK
Nate Robinson shot 8-of-12 from the field for 17 points with two boards and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes in a loss to the Nets on Saturday.
Kirk Hinrich suffered a thigh injury and given his track record, it seems likely that Hinrich will have to miss time. Robinson will approach 34 minutes per game assuming Hinrich is down, which could be a dangerous idea for the Bulls.

Thu Apr 11 201323:43Nate Robinson and Jimmy Butler dominate NYK
Nate Robinson was on fire off the bench in Thursday's win over the Knicks, scoring 35 points with three boards, two assists, one block and five 3-pointers.
He shot 10-of-18 from the field and hit all 10 free throws. Nate was fired up most of the game and was doing Steve Novak's championship-belt celebration after hitting his huge 3-pointers. His 35 points off the bench tonight were the most for a Bulls player since Ben Gordon's 37 back in 2008. Robinson will have his bad plays and he was burned in the post all night by J.R. Smith, but the Bulls won't be missing Derick Rose too bad with nights like these from Nate.

Wed Apr 10 201300:27Nate Robinson scores 28 in loss to Raptors
Nate Robinson hit just 7-of-22 shots, but came through with five 3-pointers, 22 points and four assists in a loss to the Raptors.
Robinson is no longer starting over Kirk Hinrich, but with so many injuries the Bulls need his scoring punch off the bench. He's not all that efficient, but tends to put up numbers as long as he's getting minutes.

Sun Apr 7 201322:28Nate Robinson scores 18 pts...on 8-of-19 FGs
Nate Robinson started at SG for the short-handed Bulls and racked up 18 points in 34 minutes, as Chicago fell on the road in Detroit.
Nate was anything but efficient, hitting 8-of-19 FGs (one 3-pointer) with one assist and one turnover. He'll be better most nights, whether starting or coming off the bench, though Marco Belinelli's return could dent his production whenever Luol Deng (hip) gets back in the lineup.

Thu Apr 4 201322:16Nate Robinson hits a big shot in win
Nate Robinson hit a floater in the lane with 22 seconds left to put the Bulls up one point during Thursday's 92-90 win, scoring 12 points with five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes.
Nate had an important steal of a Brook Lopez pass that led to the aforementioned bucket and he's been an under-the-radar stud off the bench. Robinson also hit a big floater in the lane in the shocking win over Miami last week. He's in a timeshare with Kirk Hinrich, so his upside will be limited in standard leagues.
