Sat Mar 29 201420:05Brandon Jennings ejected for two technicals
Brandon Jennings received two technical fouls in the first quarter against the Sixers on Saturday and was ejected.
He didn't seem too upset about being ejected and will finish with two points, three boards, two assists, one steal and no turnovers on 1-of-5 shooting. Will Bynum will take over and might give the Pistons a better chance to win tonight. Jennings is not in jeopardy of being suspended for his infractions.

Fri Mar 28 201422:25Jennings struggles, Pistons get rung by Heat
Brandon Jennings hit just 2-of-8 shots for eight points, seven assists and one steal in the Pistons' 110-78 loss to the Heat.
Not much to say here except for that the Pistons have mailed their season in. Josh Smith hit 4-of-14 shots for nine points, two rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and a normal 1-of-5 mark from deep, Andre Drummond went for nine and 14 with a steal, Greg Monroe went for 12 and eight with two blocks, and Kyle Singler scored 11 points without hitting any threes. Outside of Drummond, no starter played more than 29 minutes.

Wed Mar 26 201423:55Brandon Jennings double-doubles in loss
Brandon Jennings hit 6-of-14 shots and five 3-pointers for 17 points, five rebounds, 13 assists and two steals in Wednesday's ugly loss to the Cavaliers.
Jennings did well from a fantasy perspective, but crumbled down the stretch on both ends of the floor as the Cavs scored the games final 10 points for the unlikely win. The Pistons were up 82-66 to start the fourth quarter, but it wasn't a big enough lead for Jennings and company. Jennings is always capable of blowing up for a big line, but he's let his owners down more times in the second half of the season than he's posted the kind of line he did tonight.

Sun Mar 23 201401:10Brandon Jennings bounces back Saturday
Brandon Jennings, who played just 14 minutes on Friday, had 19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, three steals and four 3-pointers in 32 minutes of Saturday's loss.
Of course, he hit just 5-of-16 shots, but at least came through with some production after Friday's disaster. He's been really struggling for more than a month and owners will have to look hard at his shooting percentage before using him for four games next week.

Sat Mar 22 201402:31Jennings disappears in Friday's loss
Brandon Jennings played just 14 minutes in Friday's loss due to foul trouble and general ineffectiveness.
Jennings missed both of his field goals and did not score while managing just one rebound and two assists. He hasn't been happy about Mo Cheeks' firing and is a risk to disappear on any given night, but owners should try to hang in there and see where this goes.

Wed Mar 12 201423:22Jennings bounces back against the Raptors
Brandon Jennings hit just 1-of-10 shots on Tuesday but bounced back with 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting, four threes, four rebounds, two assists and a steal in Wednesday's loss.
We use the term 'bounced back' lightly considering he had just two dimes and the Pistons lost yet another game. The fluctuations in shooting output shouldn't surprise anybody playing on a team with systemic failures throughout the building.

Tue Mar 11 201422:48Brandon Jennings hits 1-of-10 shots
Brandon Jennings hit just 1-of-10 shots for five points, two rebounds, six assists and a steal in Tuesday's win.
Jennings looks like he's hit a rookie wall, except for the fact that he's not a rookie. He's now averaging just 10.8 points, 7.6 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.0 3-pointers over his last five games, shooting just 38 percent from the floor. He could bust out of his slump at any time, so maybe he'll get things turned around on Wednesday against Kyle Lowry and the Raptors.

Thu Mar 6 201401:06Brandon Jennings scores nine points vs. Bulls
Brandon Jennings shot 4-of-7 from the field for nine points against the Bulls on Wednesday with two boards, nine assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.
It's the first time he's shot at least 50 percent from the field since Feb. 8. Jennings hit a laughable 32.8 percent of his shots since that point, but at least his shot totals are coming down. There's almost no chance he'll be able to shoot over 40 percent from the field this season and stands at just 37.6 percent right now.

Sat Mar 1 201423:12Brandon Jennings' toe issue seems fine vs HOU
Brandon Jennings' toe issue did not look like a problem on Saturday vs. the Rockets, shooting 4-of-13 from the field for 11 points with eight assists and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes.
Considering he went up against Pat Beverley, the shooting line really isn't that bad. That said, the NBA world probably can't lower their standards on shooting percentage any further on Jennings, who is tied for the worst field goal percentage in that NBA at 37.4. He also ranks 21st in field goal attempts and is the absolute worst player for field goal percentage in fantasy basketball.

Sat Mar 1 201418:41Brandon Jennings is ready for Houston
Brandon Jennings (toe) will play vs. the Rockets.
He had an issue with his big toe and was never really in jeopardy of missing this game. Jennings has been a mess all season due to some horrible shot selection, but he's put up enough numbers elsewhere to be starting in all formats tonight.

Sat Mar 1 201410:20Brandon Jennings (toe) questionable for Sat.
Brandon Jennings hopes that new insoles will help his right big toe injury, but he's still listed as day-to-day in advance of Saturday's game vs. Houston.
Jennings hurt himself in the first game after the All-Star break and was forced to sit out the second half vs. the Spurs on Wednesday. "I couldn't make any movement on it," he said. "I couldn't push off on it at all." The Pistons' official game notes have him as a 'probable starter' but that's usually not a reliable indicator, so owners should stay alert for updates in the coming hours.

Thu Feb 27 201401:39Brandon Jennings leaves with toe injury
Brandon Jennings left Wednesday's game with a toe injury and didn't return, finishing without a point in 13 minutes.
Jennings will be iffy for his next game, but if he's going to be out Will Bynum becomes nearly a must-start player. He was already playing well and had 18 points and nine assists in Jennings' absence tonight. If Jennings is out against the Rockets on Saturday, Bynum will be a very popular playing daily money leagues.

Wed Feb 26 201421:55Brandon Jennings (toe) questionable to return
Brandon Jennings is questionable to return to Wednesday's game due to a sore toe.
He doesn't have any history of toe injuries and the severity of the soreness is not yet known. Will Bynum started the third quarter and would be the pickup should Jennings need to miss time. Bynum has played well, so he'd be worth a look in standard leagues.

Mon Feb 24 201422:27Brandon Jennings does his usual thing
Brandon Jennings shot 4-of-13 from the field for 11 points during Monday's 104-96 loss to the Warriors, adding four rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
The good news is that he played in the fourth quarter and he's crawling out of the doghouse. Jennings has been benched in the fourth a multiple times this season, but the Pistons really can't keep him out of the lineup because of how their team is built. While his field goal shooting is as putrid as it gets, he's still a must-start player for points, triples, steals and dimes.

Sat Feb 22 201423:11Brandon Jennings awful in loss to Mavs
Brandon Jennings hit just 1-of-7 shots for two points and three assists in Saturday's loss to the Mavericks.
He's struggling again after being benched in the fourth quarter on Friday, when he hit 3-of-12 shots against the Hawks, but also had a double-double in that one. Will Bynum had a solid game off the bench and played the entire fourth quarter again, but once Jennings breaks out of his latest funk, it will be tough to trust Bynum.

Sat Feb 22 201400:55Brandon Jennings benched in fourth quarter
Brandon Jennings did not play in the fourth quarter on Friday during a win over the Hawks, shooting 3-of-12 from the field for 12 points, 14 assists and two 3-pointers.
The assists were nice to see and he only turned the ball over, but he was likely benched based on performance. Jennings missed his first eight shots in this game and dropped his season field goal shooting to 37.9 percent, which ranks last in the Eastern Conference. If a basketball illness called Jenningsitis ever existed, it would not be cured with a shot.

Thu Feb 13 201400:36Brandon Jennings hits 3-of-14 shots in loss
Brandon Jennings hit just 3-of-14 shots for nine points on Wednesday, finishing with four points and five assists in the loss to Cleveland.
Jennings had 21 points on 8-of-18 shooting on Monday, but wasn't able to take advantage of the usually porous defense offered by the Cavs. He's having a solid season and has big-game potential, but simply had an off night. Keep rolling him out there. With Jennings struggling and Rodney Stuckey (dizziness) leaving early, Will Bynum played 20 minutes and had 12 points and four assists.

Mon Feb 10 201423:19Brandon Jennings scores 21 points vs. Spurs
Brandon Jennings scored a team-high 21 points against the Spurs on Monday during a 109-100 win, adding four boards, six assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.
He shot 8-of-18 from the field and 2-of-4 from downtown in the surprising win. Jennings is kind of on fire from deep over his last three games, making a combined 13-of-22. That's helped him raise his field goal percentage to 38.3 percent. He's a bit of a sell-high because of the recent 3-point hot streak.

Sun Feb 9 201413:18Report: Lionel Hollins interested in Pistons
Lionel Hollins reportedly would be interested in taking over the Pistons head-coaching gig.
Hollins was quoted as saying "Of course I'm interested," when asked about the head coaching vacancy in Detroit, though the Pistons organization have not reached out to him. Hollins does make some sense as the Pistons are reportedly looking for an authoritative locker-room presence, and perhaps Hollins is the guy that could get Josh Smith to stop jacking up 3-pointers. There's going to be a lot of reports coming out regarding the vacancy at the head coach position in Detroit, and we will monitor the situation closely.

Sun Feb 9 201412:04Report: Pistons fire head coach Mo Cheeks
According to Adrian Wojnarowski the Pistons have fired head coach Maurice Cheeks.
Well that didn't last very long. Maurice Cheeks didn't even make it to the all star break in his first season coaching the Detroit Pistons. In a season that has fallen short of playoff expectations Detroit's owner Tom Gores was reportedly pushing for changes. Despite coming winning their last two games by averages of 16.5 points, GM Joe Dumars decided to give Cheeks the axe on Sunday morning. No interim coach has yet been appointed, but assistant John Loyer is expected to be a frontrunner.
