Tue Sep 23 201415:40Jackson (shoulder) limited participant during Tuesday's practice
Jackson (shoulder) was a limited participant during Tuesday's practice, Newsday reports.
Jackson played through a sprained AC joint in his shoulder last Sunday, when he caught five passes for 117 yards and a touchdown. With the Redskins already nearing Thursday's game against the Giants, it's little surprise that Jackson isn't being fully exerted during practice this week. However, judging by the success of his last appearance, as well as the fact that Thursday is another divisional contest, Jackson's current questionable status is likely closer to probable than doubtful.
Mon Sep 22 201418:51DeSean Jackson: (Shoulder) "Limited" Monday
Jackson (shoulder) would have been limited in practice Monday, if Washington had held drills, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
In his return to Philadelphia on Sunday, Jackson fended off the sprained AC joint in his left shoulder, notching an 81-yard touchdown reception en route to a five-catch, 117-yard performance. With a short week on tap, his three days of prep will primarily include treatment on the shoulder, according to the Washington Post. As a result, limited practice participation and questionable status could characterize his week heading into Thursday's game versus the Giants.

Jackson (shoulder) had five catches on 11 targets for 117 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Eagles.
Jackson was having a decent game against his old team until he snagged an 81-yard touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins to tie the game at 27 in the third quarter. He was questionable coming into the game with a shoulder injury that kept him limited in practice this week, but Jackson was adamant that he would not miss the game against his former team that cut him this past offseason despite posting career-highs in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns last year. Unfortunately for Jackson, the Redskins play the Giants this Thursday, giving him only a few days to get his shoulder strong enough to play again.
Sun Sep 21 201411:34DeSean Jackson: (Shoulder) Active Sunday
Jackson (shoulder) is active Sunday in Philadelphia, Jeff Darlington of NFL Network reports.
Considering his Week 3 availability came down to a game-time call, Jackson is an iffy proposition to produce. However, opponents of his former squad have racked up 49 wide receiver targets through two games, good for sixth-most in the NFL.

Jackson will test his shoulder out in advance of Sunday's game against the Eagles, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
While Jackson wants to play, the report relays that his shoulder is still an issue, with his Week 3 status thus apparently boiling down to a game-time decision as Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff approaches.

After being limited in practice Friday, Jackson (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Though coach Jay Gruden noted after practice Friday that Jackson "did good today," he acknowledged that the wideout was "very limited." The report adds that the team plans to evaluate Jackson once again Saturday. In any case, while the wideout's Week 3 status is uncertain, the team kicks off at 1:00 ET on Sunday, so Jackson's availability will be clarified one way or another in advance of the first wave of games this weekend.
Thu Sep 18 201416:38Jackson (shoulder) didn't participate in Thursday's practice
Jackson (shoulder) didn't participate in Thursday's practice, after which coach Jay Gruden expressed his hope that the wideout practices Friday, the Washington Post reports. Nevertheless, Jackson could be a game-time decision.
Friday's injury report will ultimately estimate the likelihood that Jackson takes the field Sunday at Philadelphia. However, his sparse workload Thursday -- half-speed routes and catching passes -- didn't earn him even a limited designation, leaving his Week 3 availability up in the air. If he plays, Gruden suggested that Jackson's snap count could be capped, which would afford Andre Roberts and Ryan Grant additional looks.
Wed Sep 17 201413:58Jackson (shoulder) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice
Jackson (shoulder) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, Chris Russell of ESPN 980 Washington reports.
Jackson emerged from Week 2 with a mild sprain of the AC joint in his left shoulder, so his absence isn't much of a surprise. Nevertheless, owners should keep a close eye on his status as the week goes on, despite his contention that he doesn't "plan on missing" his return to Philadelphia on Sunday, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.

Jackson -- who is dealing with a mild sprain of the AC joint in his left shoulder -- indicated that he doesn't plan on missing Sunday's game against the Eagles, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.
We'll track Jackson's status as the week rolls along, but for now it appears as though he would have to suffer a setback in order to sit out this weekend's contest. We'll let you know if that assessment changes.

Coach Jay Gruden indicated Monday that Jackson is dealing with a mild sprain of the AC joint in his left shoulder, the Washington Post reports. "He'll be day-to-day," Gruden noted. "Depending on if he can play with the pain, he'll be good to go for Sunday. But we'll have a better idea Thursday or Friday where he is."
In any case, though he will probably be limited at practice this week, it looks like Jackson has a chance to play in Sunday's game at Philadelphia, a contest in which Washington will turn to Kirk Cousins at QB, with Robert Griffin out with a dislocated left ankle.
Mon Sep 15 201412:11Jackson considered day-to-day
Jackson, who suffered an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder Sunday, is considered day-to-day, ESPN.com reports.
We'd expect Jackson to be limited at practice this week, but it appears as though the wideout avoided a serious injury Sunday, though at this stage his status for Week 3's game against his former team, the Eagles, has yet to be determined.
Sun Sep 14 201417:06DeSean Jackson: (Shoulder) Considers Self Day-To-Day
Jackson, who left Sunday's game in the first half and did not return, said afterward that the pain in his shoulder has lessened, adding that he considers himself day-to-day, ESPN's John Keim reports.
Jackson's postgame optimism is a good sign, but it doesn't change the fact that he failed to return to the game. His absence created extra opportunities for Andre Roberts and Ryan Grant, the latter of whom surprisingly caught five passes for 57 yards on eight targets. Jackson will almost certainly be on the injury report leading up to next Sunday's game in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, Redskins QB Robert Griffin suffered a dislocated ankle Sunday, with the injury likely to result in a multi-week absence. Luckily for both Washington fans and Jackson's fantasy owners, Kirk Cousins filled in more than capably.

Jackson (shoulder) will not return to Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Jackson suffered a shoulder injury during the first half of Sunday's game and will finish with only one catch for 19 yards against the Jaguars. At the moment, the extent of Jackson's shoulder issue is unknown, but Andre Roberts will fill his No. 2 wideout role in Washington's offense for at least the remainder of Sunday's contest.

Jackson suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday's game against the Jaguars and is listed as questionable to return.
Jackson caught one pass for 19 yards prior to exiting Sunday's game. At the moment, it's unclear if Jackson will be able to return. Until further notice, expect Andre Roberts to assume the Redskins' No. 2 wideout position.

Jackson caught eight of the nine passes thrown his way for 62 yards in Sunday's 17-6 loss at Houston. He was used once as a runner, losing nine yards.
Jackson was second on the team in targets and receptions, trailing only Pierre Garcon, who caught 10 passes on 12 looks. Robert Griffin III was under constant pressure, and wasn't able to lead Washington to any touchdowns, but expect that to change in Week 2, and Jackson to possibly score, taking on a beatable Jacksonville secondary.

Jackson caught two passes for 34 yards on four targets in Monday's preseason game against the Browns.
Jackson was relatively successful in his first game in a Washington uniform, as he was able to catch a few balls despite going up against Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden. The latter did get the best of Jackson at one point, however, as he jumped a route to earn the interception. Quarterback Robert Griffin looked Jackson's way more than any other receiver Monday, which surely bodes well for his 2014 fantasy outlook. The duo will have two more exhibition games to work on their timing and chemistry.

Jackson (ankle) was a full participant in Monday's practice, the Washington Post reports.
Jackson may still be limited in the preseason as a precaution.

Jackson (ankle), who missed the Redskins' preseason opener, said he that will play in next Monday'sexhibition game against the Browns, ESPN.com reports.
Supporting that notion is that Jackson, who had been dealing with an ankle issue, participated in full-team work Monday after being limited to individual drills both Saturday and Sunday. "I felt good," he said. "Had a little sore, bruised ankle for the last couple days. So good to be back in the midst of things." Jackson is in line to start opposite Pierre Garcon in what has the potential to be a dynamic passing attack in Washington, supported by fellow wideout newcomer Andre Roberts and promising tight end Jordan Reed.

That said, coach Jay Gruden indicated that he hopes Jackson can play in the Redskins' second preseason game, against the Browns, on Monday, Aug. 18.

Jackson (ankle) took part in individual drills during Saturday's practice, the Washington Post reports.
Jackson sat out Thursday's preseason opener, but his return to the field Saturday, albeit in a limited fashion, bodes well for his chance of suiting up for the team's Aug. 18 exhibition tilt against the Browns.
