Thomas (ankle) caught 5-of-12 targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-13 loss to the Colts.
It wasn't one of Thomas' finer days, as an early one-yard touchdown was followed by a couple of ugly drops, and he didn't catch another pass until late in the third quarter. Part of the blame for the inefficient stat line lies with Peyton Manning, but there's no denying that Thomas struggled at the worst possible time. His rookie contract is done, and while the most recent memory of his performance isn't a good one, Thomas has done enough that it won't really matter. It would be shocking if the Broncos let him get away, as they'll either sign him to a massive multi-year contract, or else use the franchise tag to keep him from hitting free agency. In the vast majority of cases, players who get the franchise tag work out a long-term deal before the start of the season. Thus, the biggest question with Thomas is in regard to the roster around him, namely focusing on Peyton Manning. The future Hall of Famer played poorly down the stretch this season, and there's perhaps some chance he could retire. More likely than not, Manning will be back for next season, but that doesn't mean he'll play at the same level that we're all used to. While Thomas still figures to enter 2015 as one of the top fantasy options at wide receiver, it remains to be seen just how high he'll be ranked. He's coming off a season of 111 catches for 1,619 yards and 11 touchdowns, after going for 92-1,430-14 in 2013. He led the NFL in targets, and was behind only Antonio Brown for both catches and receiving yards.

Thomas (ankle/finger) practiced fully Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Colts, the Broncos' official site reports.
There's little doubt that Thomas will be out there Sunday after practicing fully all week. The wideout finished up the regular season with back-to-back 115 receiving yard efforts, upping his overall total for the 2014 campaign to 1,619 yards on 111 catches.

Thomas (ankle/finger) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.
Following the Broncos' first-round playoff bye, there is nothing to suggest that Thomas' status for this Sunday's divisional round contest against the Colts is in any danger.
Sun Dec 28 201421:57Demaryius Thomas: Suffers Finger Injury
Thomas suffered a finger injury during Sunday's win over the Raiders, and while X-rays came back negative, he was seen wearing a split in the locker room after the game, ESPN.com reports. Thomas, who said he suffered the injury in the second quarter, caught eight passes on 17 targets for 115 yards, setting the Broncos' single-season receiving yards record with 1,619.
Thomas also set career-highs with 111 catches and 184 targets, while scoring double-digit touchdowns for the third-straight season. The Broncos clinched a first-round playoff bye with the win Sunday, and he'll be a vital piece of the Broncos' offense if they want to get back to the Super Bowl.

Thomas caught 7-of-14 targets for 115 yards in Monday's 37-28 loss to the Bengals.
Thomas had two long gains called back on penalties, but he also had a 46-yard reception that stood. He could have had an even bigger night, as Peyton Manning was uncharacteristically inaccurate, and Emmanuel Sanders caught both of the team's touchdowns. Thomas got consecutive looks in the end zone during the third quarter, but the first throw fell incomplete, while the second drew a pass interference penalty. With the Broncos now having plenty to play for in Week 17, Thomas will again be an elite option for a favorable matchup against the Raiders.

Thomas (ankle) had six catches on 11 targets for 123 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Chargers.
An excellent bounce back game for Thomas, who finished with just two catches for 11 yards in Week 14 against the Bills. He now has eight 100-yard games this season and continues to be quarterback Peyton Manning's favorite target. Up next is a Week 16 matchup against the Bengals, when Thomas will try to reach 100 receptions in a season for the first time in his career.

Thomas (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Thomas is coming off a quiet effort in Week 14 (two catches for 11 yards), but prior to that, he recorded double-digit targets in his previous six outings, so he's a bounce-back candidate Sunday in the absence of any injury setbacks.

Thomas (ankle) had two catches on five targets for 11 yards Sunday against the Bills.
The Broncos' passing game was very limited Sunday, as quarterback Peyton Manning threw only 20 passes, 12 of which went to wideouts Wes Welker (six catches for 82 yards) and Emmanuel Sanders (four catches for 56 yards). It was easily Thomas' worst game of the season, and it continued to troubling trend that has seen his receiving yards decrease for the fifth consecutive game. He'll look to bounce back in Week 15 against the Chargers, with the Broncos one win away from earning their third consecutive AFC West title.

Thomas (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Thomas (ankle) returned to a limited practice Friday and is probable for Sunday's game against the Bills, the Broncos' official site reports.
"It's all right," Thomas said Friday of the ankle bruise that he sustained on Wednesday. "It feels way better." Given the probable designation, it looks safe to roll with Thomas in fantasy lineups this week, though we'll verify the wideout's status in advance of Sunday's 4:05 ET kickoff, in any case.

Coach John Fox has downplayed the ankle issue that sidelined Thomas at Thursday's practice, the Broncos' official site reports.
"It's a bruise, and he'll be fine," Fox said of Thomas on Thursday. We'll revisit the wideout's status Friday, but based on Fox's statement, Thomas' absence from practice Thursday is now a little less ominous with regard to the receiver's status for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Thu Dec 4 201415:55Thomas (ankle) did not practice Thursday
Thomas (ankle) did not practice Thursday, the Broncos' official site reports.
Thomas, whose ankle was stepped on during Wednesday's practice, stretched out in advance of Thursday's session, but ended up being held out of the team's practice drills. With that in mind, what Thomas is able to do (or not do) Friday looms large with regard to his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Bills, a 4:05 ET kickoff.

Per ESPN's Jeff Legwold, Thomas, who injured his ankle in practice Wednesday, does not appear to be practicing Thursday.
Legwold notes that Thomas appeared to be "limping a bit" Thursday, but in any case, we'll revisit the wideout's status once the Broncos' Thursday practice report is released to see if Thomas draws an official limited or did not practice designation.
Wed Dec 3 201416:44Thomas (ankle) limited at practice Wednesday

Per coach John Fox, Thomas "got stepped on" during practice, with the wideout's status now worth monitoring as Sunday's game against the Bills approaches.

Thomas caught 6-of-13 targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-16 win over the Chiefs.
Thomas appeared to be headed for a big game early on, but Peyton Manning struggled with accuracy after the first quarter, while C.J. Anderson piled up 168 yards on 32 carries. Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders still managed to draw 24 targets, compared to just 10 for all other Broncos combined. Even in a tough Week 14 matchup with the Bills, Thomas will be one of the top options at wide receiver. Through 12 games, he's on pace for a 117-1,673-13 receiving line on 183 targets.

Thomas had 10 catches on 13 targets for 87 yards and three touchdowns Sunday against the Dolphins.
Thomas' excellent run since the Broncos' Week 4 bye continues, and while his streak of seven straight games with at least 100 yards ended, his three touchdowns ended a four-game streak without a score. Thomas remains an elite fantasy wideout and will look to keep his excellent play going in Week 13 against the Chiefs, who he scored a touchdown against back in Week 2.
