Tue Nov 22 202208:12Brandon Ingram Scores Season-High 34 Points
New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram had a very pleasant night against the Warriors on Monday, scoring a season-high 34 points in a huge 128-83 victory. He shot 12-for-19 from the field and 3-for-7 from downtown as the Pelicans dominated against a team that rested its best players. Ingram's line included six rebounds as well with three assists, three steals and two turnovers in 31 minutes. Zion Williamson was back from a three-game absence Monday but stayed in the background and let Ingram shine. Ingram has been busy in all areas throughout the season and he recently even had a nice streak of blocks. A defensively-challenged Spurs team waits for him next.

Tue Nov 8 202215:33Brandon Ingram Has Hot Shooting Night
New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram had himself a big shooting night that ultimately didn't lead to a win against the Indiana Pacers. The sixth-year forward out of Duke finished with 29 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two blocks while shooting 50% from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. His scoring was sorely missed while he was out for a stretch of games with a concussion. Now that he's back, the bench players take a hit in fantasy value, but he remains to be a high-level fantasy contributor.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram had a team-high 29 points during the loss to the Pacers. Ingram made 50% of his attempts from the field while going 3-for-4 from deep. He also amassed six rebounds, two assists, and two blocks. Ingram missed four games after sustaining a concussion against the Utah Jazz in October. Fantasy managers should continue to benefit from Ingram's presence in all areas moving ahead as long as he remains healthy, which has been an issue throughout his career.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram (head) won't be available for the team's three-game road trip, beginning on Friday against the Suns. The Pelicans are dealing with a slew of injuries heading into the meeting with Phoenix, with Herbert Jones (knee), CJ McCollum (finger), Jose Alvarado (back), and Zion Williamson (hip) questionable. As a result, Trey Murphy III, who had 22 points and five rebounds while shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from deep versus Dallas, could see an enhanced role moving forward. New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram (head) won't be available for Tuesday's contest against the Dallas Mavericks. Head coach Willie Green mentioned earlier that Ingram was not dealing with a concussion. It appears that he misspoke as Ingram will miss Tuesday's game due to a concussion. The 25-year-old has a few hurdles to jump before getting back on the court. Trey Murphy III will likely benefit the most in the absence of Ingram. Mon Oct 24 202200:50Brandon Ingram Suffers Concussion On Sunday
New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram (head) exited Sunday's loss to the Jazz. While he returned briefly, he was eventually ruled out for the remainder of the game with concussion-like symptoms. The 25-year-old is averaging 22.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.0 assists while shooting 57.1% from deep this season. Zion Williamson (hip) also didn't return due to a hip contusion caused by a hard fall, so there's a chance both men won't be available on Tuesday against the Mavs. If that's the case, Larry Nance Jr. and Trey Murphy III, who combined for 26 points off the bench in this one, may enter the starting lineup.

Wed Oct 12 202220:44Brandon Ingram Might Play In Preseason Finale
New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram (toe) didn't suit up for Wednesday's preseason matchup against the Miami Heat. He continues to deal with toe soreness, but it sounds like he is improving. Ingram was able to practice on Tuesday and it appears he could play in the preseason finale on Friday. It would be fantastic to see Ingram suit up on Friday and actually get in some game action before the regular season begins. He should be around a top 60-70 fantasy contributor, but Zion Williamson and C.J. McCollum being healthy could potentially hurt his value.

Tue Oct 4 202220:48Brandon Ingram Sitting During Tuesday's Exhibition
New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram (toe) has been ruled out for Tuesday's preseason matchup against the Chicago Bulls. This isn't a significant injury, but the Pelicans didn't want to risk it in a meaningless game. Trey Murphy should see additional run with Ingram on the sideline. At this point, it's hard to justify taking Ingram early in most fantasy drafts. He continues to get injured and his fantasy value could drop with Zion Williamson back to being fully healthy.

Wed Aug 17 202200:04Pelicans Not Looking To Trade Brandon Ingram To Nets
The Pelicans are reportedly unwilling to offer Brandon Ingram to Brooklyn in a deal for Kevin Durant, according to league sources. While New Orleans recently emerged as a potential destination for Durant, the team is eager to see how the pairing of Ingram and Zion Williamson plays out this season. The 24-year-old is also much younger and has a more agreeable salary. Nevertheless, Ingram has played well throughout his time with the Pelicans (three seasons), averaging 23.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists. His shooting percentage from deep could use a little work. He also hasn't suited up for more than 62 games in any of the previous five seasons. With that said, Ingram's inability to remain healthy is an issue, so history suggests fantasy managers may be without him during some of the 2022-23 campaign.

Tue Aug 9 202222:14Pelicans Could Offer Brandon Ingram In Trade Package
New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram could be included in a "compelling package" to acquire Kevin Durant from Brooklyn, according to Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily Times. Although the Nets are remaining firm on its asking price for the multi-time All-Star, adding Ingram to the equation could be more than enough to make a deal happen. Unquestionably, the 24-year-old has played the best basketball of his career over his last three seasons in New Orleans. During that span, he's averaged 23.4 points, 5.6 boards, and 4.8 assists while shooting an acceptable 37.3% from deep. While Ingram is a capable fantasy producer, his inconsistency on the defensive end has been a minor hindrance for category managers. His inability to remain healthy also continues to be a problem.
