G Terrence Ross scored all 11 of his points in the fourth quarter, including a trio of 3. He said he feels good in the role of coming off the bench to begin this season after starting 61 games a year ago."I feel comfortable in it," Ross said. "It helps me relax and see what I have to do. I like it."

F/G Terrence Ross poured in 13 in the fourth quarter to lead the offense Friday. His 3-point bomb gave the Raptors a 101-84 lead with 5:51 remaining.Ross, who came off the bench, was 8 of 12 from the floor."Coming off the bench helps me see what the team needs help on," Ross said. "I actually like it better. Come into the game, make a quick impact and go from there."

Ross (ankle) will not travel with the team for its game in Ottawa on Wednesday, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.

Ross rolled his surgically repaired left ankle during Monday's win over Minnesota, and he'll stay back for treatment as the team makes a trip to Ottawa for a rematch with the Wolves on Wednesday. At this point, the injury doesn't appear to serious enough that it will impact Ross' regular season status.

Head coach Paul Casey said Ross tweaked an ankle in Monday's preseason game, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.

Casey did not say if Ross injured his right ankle or the left ankle that he underwent surgery on earlier this year, but either way, Ross did not exit Tuesday's contest at 100 percent. It remains to be seen if the injury will cost Ross any game action, but the Raptors figure to be cautious with him with a couple weeks of preseason remaining.

Ross attributed last season's struggles to an ankle injury that bothered him throughout the second half, the Toronto Sun reports. "It was frustrating," he said. "I would roll my ankle and go in the back and work on it, it would feel a little better, then I'd go right back out and roll my ankle again, so it was more just like physically taxing, it just kind of took a toll on me at the end of the year," Ross said.

He had offseason surgery to hopefully correct the issue, and Ross says he now feels healthier than he did last season. He'll be moving to the bench due to the DeMarre Carroll signing and has an opportunity to turn his career around in a more narrowly-defined role on the second unit, but Ross has a lot to prove as he heads into the final season of his rookie contract.

Ross (ankle) was seen working out in Toronto on Tuesday, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

Ross underwent surgery to remove bone spurs from his ankle in late-May, and he remains without a return timetable. The team has not provided much in the way of an update, but the expectation is that the athletic wing will be ready by the time training camp rolls around in the fall.

Ross injured his ankle on Friday and was limited to 21 minutes. He was able to return in Miami, but had his minutes limited by the injury as well as Lou Williams (29 points) having a big game.

Ross sustained a sore left ankle Friday but will nonetheless take the floor Saturday. In five games this month, he's averaged eight points (on 38 percent shooting), 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 three-pointers, and 0.8 steals in 24 minutes.

Ross has a sore left ankle and will not return to Friday's game.

He had seven points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 21 minutes before exiting. Should Ross miss further time James Johnson or Louis Williams could see an increased role.

Ross scored 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with two rebounds in 28 minutes during Wednesday's blowout win over the Timberwolves.

The third year wing just can't seem to get into any kind of consistent rhythm, averaging just 11.4 points over his last eight games, although Ross has managed to sink at least one three-pointer in 16 straight contests. He'll really need to develop his game in the offseason if he wants to figure into the Raptors' future plans.

Ross scored 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt) with a steal in 36 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Bulls.

He's been alternating good shooting nights with bad ones over the last week or so, but he has hit at least one three-pointer in 13 straight games. Until Ross starts adding consistent production in other categories to his stat line though, he's best left on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues.

Ross didn't contribute in any other stat besides points, threes, and a measly assist. In spite of the fact that he's starting and getting a decent amount of minutes, he isn't worth owning in most leagues because of his one-dimensional approach to the game.

Ross (back) will be active and available for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Ross came down with back spasms in the second half of Monday's win over Indiana, limiting him to nine points and one rebound in 21 minutes. He's apparently moved past the issue and will be available Wednesday night.

Prior to coming down with back spasms, Ross contributed nine points (3-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt) and one rebound in 21 minutes. Consider him questionable for Wednesday's outing against the Timberwolves.

Ross scored 20 points (7-12 FG, 6-9 3Pt) in a loss to the Thunder on Sunday, in addition to blocking a shot and picking up four rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes.

This was the first time Ross hit the 20-point mark since Feb. 4. While he will have big games at times, he's largely been quiet this season. In February, he had eight games with six or fewer points, and is only game removed from shooting 3-for-10 against the Hornets.

Ross got the start at small forward on Friday, scoring eight points (3-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt) with seven assists, three rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes during a loss to the Hornets.

It was good to see Ross make a contribution in a variety of ways rather than being a one-dimensional shooter, but fantasy owners will likely want him to prove he can fill up a box score like this on a regular basis before considering him as a waiver wire target.

Ross will move into the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Hornets, TSN Sports reports.

Ross may have the edge over James Johnson moving forward as Ross won the starting job earlier in the year but lost it to Johnson momentarily. Although, Ross' performance against the the Hornets will be the ultimate deciding factor for his value moving forward.

Ross scored 12 points (4-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt) with two assists in 29 minutes off the bench Monday.

He didn't supply much fantasy value outside of his shooting, but this was a much better performance for Ross than his disappearing act against the Knicks on Saturday. Raptors coach Dwane Casey seems willing to go with the hot hand at small forward, but Ross will probably have to show more consistency if he wants to win a starting job back.

Ross scored 18 points (7-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with two rebounds and a steal in 24 minutes off the bench Friday.

He was one of the few bright spots in a game where the Raptors were getting blown out by the Warriors before the first half was over. Ross hadn't scored in double digits since February 4, but this could be the beginning of a good run for the streaky scorer.
