Wed Feb 22 2012 | 00:35 | Cory Joseph makes most of start |
Cory Joseph started over a resting Tony Parker and had 13 points and three assists in 37 minutes of Tuesday's blowout loss to the Blazers. |
Gregg Popovich treated this game as a practice, and Joseph simply won't play much in the next one, or any time that Pop's not ruining fantasy owners' best-laid plans. |

Wed Jan 18 2012 | 18:56 | Cory Joseph to be Spurs' backup PG |
Cory Joseph is expected to be the Spurs' backup point guard on Wednesday. |
The move allows Gary Neal to focus on being a shooting guard off the bench, but Joseph -- just recalled from the D-League last week -- shouldn't get enough run to have an impact in fantasy leagues. |

Wed Jan 11 2012 | 18:49 | Spurs recall Cory Joseph from D-League |
The Spurs have recalled G Cory Joseph from the D-League. |
This was an obvious move due to the hamstring injury suffered by T.J. Ford. Joseph will possibly back up Tony Parker, which would allow Gary Neal to spend more of his time at shooting guard, where he will be more productive. |

Fri Dec 16 2011 | 16:27 | Spurs sign top draft pick Joseph |
The San Antonio Spurs announced on Friday that they have signed their first-round draft pick, guard Cory Joseph. Per club policy, details of the contract were not released. |
The Spurs traded away last year's backup PG George Hill and Tony Parker has missed some time in his career with injuries, but we would be very surprised if Joseph ends up with major minutes this season on a Spurs team looking to make its last title run with an older Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili. |
