Wed Dec 8 201015:23Yankees meet with Pedro Feliciano's agent
According to Ken Davidoff of New York Newsday, the Yankees met with Pedro Feliciano's agent on Wednesday.
Feliciano has also drawn interest from the Red Sox and Phillies, among others, so it's likely that he'll end up with a multi-year contract. The 34-year-old southpaw posted a 3.30 ERA and 56/30 K/BB ratio over 62 2/3 innings with the Mets this past season and has led the league in appearances for three straight years.

Tue Dec 7 201012:24Yanks, Red Sox and Phils in on Feliciano
The Yankees, Red Sox and Phillies have expressed interest thus far in free agent left-hander Pedro Feliciano.
Feliciano was offered arbitration by the Mets this winter but declined, hoping to score a multi-year contract on the free agent market. With three big-budget teams already showing interest, he should be able to do just that. The 34-year-old Feliciano held left-handed batters to a .211/.297/.276 batting line in 2010 while registering a 3.30 overall ERA.

Tue Nov 30 201011:54Feliciano declines arbitration from Mets
Pedro Feliciano has declined arbitration from the Mets.
As expected. There were some recent reports that Feliciano was thinking about accepting arbitration from the club, but the rubber-armed left-hander is almost certain to find a multi-year contract in free agency. If he signs elsewhere, the Mets will receive a sandwich pick in next year's draft.

Mon Nov 29 201021:15Report: Feliciano could accept arbitration
Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com hears that Pedro Feliciano could accept arbitration from the Mets.
Ken Davidoff of New York Newsday had the same information over the weekend, but we're skeptical about this. Feliciano could make somewhere around $4 million if he goes through the arbitration process, but he'll almost certainly find a multi-year contract in free agency. He is a Type B free agent, so signing him will not cost teams a draft pick.

Sat Nov 27 201010:41Feliciano could accept arbitration offer
Pedro Feliciano's agent, Melvin Roman, told Newsday's Ken Davidoff that his client is "seriously considering" accepting the Mets' arbitration offer.
Feliciano made $2.9 million last season but would get a salary bump through arbitration. He'd surely prefer a multi-year deal from someone, but it's doubtful he'd make more annually than what he'd get through arbitration, so it's not a surprise he's considering accepting. The southpaw held left-handed batters to a .211/.297/.276 batting line in 2010.

Tue Nov 23 201011:36Mets offer salary arb. to Pedro Feliciano
The Mets have offered salary arbitration to Pedro Feliciano.
The 34-year-old Feliciano held left-handed batters to a .211/.297/.276 batting line in 2010. He's due a raise from the $2.9 million salary that he earned in 2010 and will either get that raise on the free agent market or through the arbitration process. The Yankees and Phillies have shown interest.

Wed Nov 17 201016:53Phils also have interest in Pedro Feliciano
Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports that the Phillies have shown interest in free agent lefty Pedro Feliciano.
The Yankees are also in the running. Feliciano, 34, held left-handed hitters to a shiny .211/.297/.276 batting line in 2010 and would make a nice addition to any bullpen. Rubin says that the southpaw is not close to signing with any team and will take his time reaching an agreement.

Tue Nov 16 201011:32Yanks showing interest in Pedro Feliciano
According to Newsday's Ken Davidoff, the Yankees have shown interest in free agent left-hander Pedro Feliciano.
The 34-year-old Feliciano registered a decent 3.30 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 62 2/3 innings for the Mets this year, holding left-handed hitters to a .211/.297/.276 batting line. He should come cheap and would work well as a left-handed relief specialist for the cross-town Yanks.

Tue Jun 15 201008:48Feliciano now the Mets' primary 8th inn. man
Mets manager Jerry Manuel acknowledged Monday that Pedro Feliciano is now his primary eighth-inning setup man.
With a 1.85 ERA and eight holds through 24 1/3 innings pitched, Feliciano has been one of the Mets' more reliable relievers this season. Of course, Francisco Rodriguez still has a firm grasp on the ninth inning gig.

Fri Apr 16 201023:40Feliciano was unavailable for Friday's game
Pedro Feliciano was unavailable for Friday's game against the Cardinals due to illness.
Feliciano said he had to get an IV during the game, which explains why Raul Valdes was brought in to face Felipe Lopez in the decisive seventh inning. It's not known when he'll be able to return to action.
