Sat May 31 201412:37Roy Hibbert trade not out of the question
Roy Hibbert, who had a rough second half and even worse playoffs, is reportedly available for the right price.
Marc Stein of ESPN reports, "There is said to be some thought on both sides...that a fresh start would be beneficial for everyone after the big man's second-half woes." He added, "Hibbert's camp hasn't outright asked for a trade...but word is that it wouldn't exactly oppose." Hibbert sill has two years and $30 million left on his contract, with the second year being a player option. This story should only get more complicated during the summer.

Wed May 28 201423:34Hibbert, West play well in Pacers win
Roy Hibbert had his second double-double of the playoffs with 10 points, 13 rebounds and a block in Wednesday's Game 5 win.
He hit just 4-of-11 shots and didn't even seem fully tuned into the game late, but still played well enough to help the Pacers win, after not even scoring in Game 4. David West added 19 points, nine rebounds, two steals and a block, and the Pacers will need more of the same from the duo for Friday's Game 6 at Miami.

Tue May 27 201410:59Roy Hibbert unhappy w/ lack of touches
Roy Hibbert blamed his scoreless Game 4 performance on coach Frank Vogel's gameplan.
David West had a tempting matchup with Rashard Lewis and he quickly became a focal point of the Pacers' attack in the first quarter. "The game plan really wasn't to utilize me as much," Hibbert said. "Would I like a little bit more touches early on? Yeah. But that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes ... I can't control plays called for me." Vogel blamed Hibbert's ineffectiveness on foul trouble, and it will be interesting to see if he's more involved in the offense when Indiana seeks to avoid elimination on Wednesday.

Sat May 24 201423:37Roy Hibbert with just two rebounds in loss
Roy Hibbert hit 7-of-13 shots for 16 points, but added just two rebounds and zero blocks in Saturday's loss to the Heat.
Hibbert was great in Game 2, with 12 points, 13 rebounds, a block and eight offensive rebounds, but never got it going on the glass tonight. Chris Bosh was terrible for the Heat tonight, which helped the Pacers stick around after they blew a 15-point lead, but Hibbert's ineffectiveness in the paint is a big problem for the Pacers right now.

Tue May 20 201423:32Roy Hibbert with 8 offensive boards, dub-dub
Roy Hibbert hit 5-of-9 shots for 12 points, 13 rebounds, a steal and a block in Tuesday's Game 2 loss to the Heat.
He may have tweaked his left knee at one point during the game, but played through it. He also hauled in eight offensive rebounds, while this was his first double-digit rebounding performance of the playoffs. Hibbert is a big reason the Pacers were in this game until the end and they'll need him to keep playing well with the series heading to Miami on Saturday.

Sun May 18 201418:53Roy Hibbert scores 19 points in win vs. Heat
Roy Hibbert scored 19 points with nine boards, three assists and one block in 39 minutes vs. the Heat on Sunday.
The Heat didn't respect his offensive game much and he was able to get terrific position deep in the paint. All but one of Hibbert's five makes came at the rim, but he did shoot just 1-of-7 from beyond two feet today. He played well on defense and he's been able to string together some positive outings, averaging 13.0 points, 6.4 boards and 2.0 blocks over his last five. The All-Star was an absolutel monster vs. Miami in the playoffs last year with 22.1 points per game, so he'll continue to be a huge factor in this series.

Wed May 14 201409:37Pacers held to franchise-worst 23 rebounds
The Pacers grabbed a franchise-low 23 rebounds in Tuesday's Game 5 defeat, leading coach Frank Vogel to question his team's effort.
"We didn't hit them, we didn't hold them off the glass," Vogel said. "We didn't purse like we normally pursue and it was costly." David West led his team with six rebounds, but starters Lance Stephenson, Paul George and Roy Hibbert combined for only three rebounds in 92 minutes of action. "We didn't show up to play," West said. "We relied on one guy to rebound or two guys to rebound and that's not who we are." The Pacers will need to quickly move on from this franchise-worst performance on the glass with Game 6 looming in Washington on Thursday.

Sun May 11 201423:15Roy Hibbert rolls along in Game 4 victory
Roy Hibbert continued his streak of solid games with 17 points, nine rebounds and two blocks during Indiana's 95-92 road win on Sunday.
Hibbert's 39 minutes of action marked his highest playing time since early February and his resurgence has given the Pacers a palpable lift, as they head home with a commanding 3-1 lead in their second-round series. Ian Mahinmi played only five minutes off the bench and Luis Scola went scoreless in eight minutes, but starting PF David West added 14 points, three rebounds, eight assists in 44 minutes.

Fri May 9 201412:45Roy Hibbert thanks former coach for advice
Roy Hibbert said on Friday that he was thankful for the advice from his former coach John Thompson III.
"He just told me how to work on positioning and bending my knees a little bit more," Hibbert said. "Things that a good coach sees the small details in. I'm very appreciative of him taking the time." The Pacers gave him the ball much more and he lucked into some more rebounds on his way to 28 points and nine boards on Wednesday. Interestingly, Hibbert has grabbed just 46.7 percent of his rebound chances in the playoffs, which doesn't even rank in the top 160 for all players in the postseason. Meanwhile, Marcin Gortat leads the postseason with contested rebounds per game. A lot of eyes will be on Hibbert tonight.

Wed May 7 201421:50Roy Hibbert explodes with 28 points in win
Roy Hibbert looked like a new player during Game 2's 86-82 win over the Wizards on Wednesday, making 10-of-13 from the field for 28 points with nine boards, one assist, two blocks, no turnovers and two fouls in 33 minutes.
He has deservedly received more criticism than almost any big man in recent memory and was coming off a no-point, no-board game on Monday. Ten of his 13 shots came in the paint and seven of his 10 makes came via an assist. The Pacers got more out of Hibbert than they could have ever imagined and the Wizards struggled offensively, so they still have their work cut out for themselves despite a four-point win. They'll look to take back home-court advantage in Washington on Friday.

Wed May 7 201413:55Pacers plan to run plays for Roy Hibbert
Pacers coach Frank Vogel plans to run some plays for Roy Hibbert after calling his number "zero times" during a disastrous Game 1 loss to the Wizards.
"If Roy Hibbert's on the court it's because I think he can help us win the next possession, the next stretch of the game, and help us win that game," Vogel said. "I've got to get him some looks to help get him going some. Everybody has to understand, he wasn't 0-for-11, he was 0-for-2. He's the fifth option in our starting-five offense." All signs point to Hibbert remaining in the Pacers' starting lineup for Game 2 on Wednesday.

Tue May 6 201413:20Roy Hibbert pulled aside by veteran teammates
Roy Hibbert was pulled aside by his teammates after a horrendous Game 1 showing in Monday's loss to the Wizards.
Hibbert failed to score or record a rebound in 18 minutes during Monday's Game 1 loss to the Wizards and was pulled aside by David West and Rasual Butler. West declined to comment on the talk other than saying that Hibbert "has to be part of the fight." Paul George added his two cents, saying, "We're at the point where we really need Roy and we need him now." The struggling Hibbert gave his own take on the situation after the game, "I got to come out and be aggressive. I got to be a different Roy Hibbert than I have been. "I'm going to change some things up for the second game. I'm going to look within myself and go out there and figure it out." Indiana doesn't have much time to get things together as the they've already dug themselves a 1-0 hole heading into Wednesday's Game 2, but they'll need everything they can get from Hibbert.

Mon May 5 201421:39Roy Hibbert's disappearing act continues
Roy Hibbert was horrible in Monday's Game 1 loss to the Wizards, failing to score with no boards, one assist, two blocks, two turnovers and five fouls in 18 minutes.
Well, so much for his struggles being due to the matchup vs. the Hawks. Hibbert continues to be a couple steps late on everything he does and the Pacers probably shouldn't even be playing him 18 minutes. While he was a great rim protector earlier in the season, he was late on help on John Wall and dribble penetration.

Sat May 3 201420:51Roy Hibbert plays well in win over Hawks
Roy Hibbert turned in his best effort of the postseason during Game 7's win on Saturday, making 6-of-10 from the field for 13 points with seven boards and five blocks in 31 minutes.
He played with much more energy and focus today, so coach Frank Vogel gave Hibbert more run. He played just 12 minutes in each of the last two games and didn't even score in either game while his five blocks today were more than he had in the previous six games combined. This was a horrible matchup against the Hawks for Hibbert, but he should be a more valuable piece against the Wizards in the next round.

Sat May 3 201415:55Roy Hibbert will start at center in Game 7
Roy Hibbert will remain the Pacers' starting center for Game 7.
Hibbert has played exactly 12 minutes in each of the past two games, going scoreless with a combined two rebounds and eight personal fouls. There's no miracle cure for what ails him and he's unlikely to play a bigger role on Saturday.

Thu May 1 201422:36Roy Hibbert doesn't score in 12 minutes
Roy Hibbert came off the bench to start the second half of Thursday's game, finishing with no points, two boards and one block in 12 minutes.
He looked horrible again and he might not have re-entered the game had Ian Mahinmi not picked up his fourth foul. Hibbert has been late on just about everything and it should be interesting to see if coach Frank Vogel brings him off the bench in Game 7 on Saturday.

Thu May 1 201420:36Roy Hibbert benched to start second half
Ian Mahinmi started in place of Roy Hibbert to start the second half of Thursday's game in Atlanta.
Odds are Hibbert is done for the night after playing just seven minutes in the first quarter. He did commit two fouls, but Chris Copeland was at the scorers table before Hibbert committed his second. Hibbert didn't register any stats or shots besides those two fouls. He was an All-Star this season.

Thu May 1 201418:27Pacers use same starting lineup for Game 6
Pacers coach Frank Vogel will not change his starting lineup for Game 6 on Thursday, meaning Roy Hibbert will keep his starting center job.
There has been rampant speculation that Vogel might bench Hibbert in favor of Luis Scola or Chris Copeland, but he's sticking with the same starting five that won Indy 56 games during the regular season. Hibbert has often found himself on the bench in the fourth quarter and he played only 12 minutes on Monday, so his starting job doesn't guarantee playing time.

Mon Apr 28 201422:52Pacers go down big early, lose Game 5 at home
Roy Hibbert was a no-show once again in the Pacers' 107-97 loss to the Hawks in Game 5 on Monday, going scoreless with no rebounds and one block in 12 minutes of action.
Hibbert's woes on both ends of the court have been central to the Pacers' historic collapse, and those putting the big man on a Defensive Player of the Year ballot probably wish they had a redo. The lack of athleticism underneath the basket has completely upended the team, but adjustments to play Chris Copeland (six points, 20 minutes, one steal, three blocks) and Ian Mahinmi (16 points, one steal) at least helped to bring the final score into a reasonable range. Paul George added 26 points, 12 boards, six assists and six steals in the loss.
