Wed Jun 28 202302:14Corbin Carroll Socks A Three-Run Homer In Win
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and a strikeout in an 8-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday. Carroll put an exclamation point on the Diamondbacks' five-run first inning when he smacked a Taj Bradley offering over the wall in center field with Geraldo Perdomo and Ketel Marte aboard. He also added a single in the lopsided victory. Carroll had been scuffling at the dish lately so perhaps Tuesday's big game will get him going again. He's still putting together a phenomenal rookie campaign, slashing .293/.370/.568 with 17 home runs, 44 RBI, and 23 stolen bases over 280 at-bats.

Wed Jun 28 202302:07Corbin Carroll Crushes Three-Run Homer In Win
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll finished 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in the first inning of Tuesday's 8-4 win versus the Tampa Bay Rays. The 22-year-old isn't hitting for a ton of contact lately; Carroll is batting just .208 over his last 53 at-bats. However, the rookie sensation is supplying plenty of pop (four homers) and speed (four swipes) over this span to offset the low average. Overall, Carroll is slashing .293/.370/.568 with 17 blasts, 44 RBI, and 23 stolen bags as a five-category fantasy stud in the upstart D-backs lineup. The rising star looks well on the way to his first All-Star Game in Seattle this July.

Thu Jun 15 202314:21Corbin Carroll Returns To Starting Lineup Thursday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is back in the starting lineup Thursday afternoon against the Philadelphia Phillies. The NL Rookie of the Year front-runner got a well-earned breather on Wednesday night against a left-hander in the Phillies' Ranger Suarez but will re-enter the lineup to take on right-hander Aaron Nola Thursday afternoon. The 22-year-old has been even better than advertised in his first full MLB season, hitting .311 with 14 home runs, 19 stolen bases, and a .993 OPS across 65 appearances on the campaign. Of course, he's already among the elite fantasy baseball assets while his 3.4 fWAR is only inferior to the Braves' Ronald Acuna Jr. to this point in the season.

Wed Jun 14 202321:02Corbin Carroll Sitting Out Wednesday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is not in the team's starting lineup on Wednesday night against the Philadelphia Phillies. Carroll will take a breather after starting the team's last 29 games. The 22-year-old has been that good this year and is the easy favorite for National League Rookie of the Year in 2023. Carroll is one of the most dynamic all-around players in the big leagues in his first full season, as he's currently hitting .313 (71-for-227) with 17 doubles, three triples, 14 home runs, 35 RBI, 19 stolen bases, 51 runs scored and a league-leading .998 OPS in 64 games. There's nothing he can't do on the diamond. With Carroll out Wednesday, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. is starting in left field and batting third against Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez.

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll went 1-for-5 with two RBI and a strikeout in a 5-4 win over the Colorado Rockies on Thursday. Arizona was facing a one-run deficit with two runners on and two out when Carroll stepped in to face Rockies closer Pierce Johnson. He then roped a single into shallow left field to score Gabriel Moreno and Ketel Marte and give the D-Backs a 5-4 victory. The 22-year-old rookie has been hot over his last 15 games, batting .309 with a 1.015 OPS. Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, three runs scored, three walks, two stolen bases, and a strikeout in an 8-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Carroll opened up the scoring in this one as he bopped his seventh home run of the season off of Roansy Contreras. He would reach base three more times in this contest, all via base-on-balls, score two more times, and swipe a pair of bags. It was a monster game from the 22-year-old, who now has his season-batting line up to .284/.382/.507 to go along with the seven home runs, 16 RBI, and 13 steals over 148 at-bats.

Thu May 11 202318:35Corbin Carroll Getting Night Off On Thursday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is out of the team's lineup for the series opener at home against the division-rival Giants on Thursday night. It doesn't seem to be a matchup-related absence while going against righty Alex Cobb, but more of a day of maintenance for the southpaw hitter, especially after jamming his knee a few weeks back. Carroll is living up to the hype that made him a first-round pick by Arizona back in 2019, as he's slashing .294/.364/.513 with 10 stolen bases in 2023. Expect the 22-year-old to return to action for Friday night's contest.

The expectation is that Carroll will be back in the lineup for their next game. He's hitting .314/.381/.559 with five home runs, 10 RBI, and 10 stolen bases in 27 games this season.

Updating a previous report, Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (knee) is officially back in the team's starting lineup on Friday against the Washington Nationals and right-hander Josiah Gray. Carroll is serving as the designated hitter and is batting in the three-hole. He had two at-bats on Wednesday as a pinch-hitter and is now back after injuring his left knee in a game last Saturday. Fantasy managers will want to get the 22-year-old left-handed hitter back into all starting lineups right away. Carroll will return to a .313/.376/.535 slash line with eight doubles, a triple, four home runs, nine RBI, 10 stolen bases and 20 runs scored in 109 plate appearances and 29 games so far this year.

Fri May 5 202316:26Corbin Carroll Penciled In To Start Against Nationals
Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said that he has outfielder Corbin Carroll (knee) "penciled into the lineup today" on Friday against the Washington Nationals and right-hander Josiah Gray. Carroll hasn't played since injuring his knee last weekend, but Lovullo is hoping he'll make his return to the lineup on Friday night. The 22-year-old went 1-for-2 with a run scored and a strikeout after he entered Wednesday's game as a pinch-hitter, so he's obviously getting close to a return. Fantasy managers should check back for Arizona's official lineup on Friday night, but there's a good chance Carroll will be back in there. He's hitting .313 (31-for-99) with eight doubles, a triple, four home runs, nine RBI, 10 steals and 20 runs scored in 29 games and is a must-start when he's active.

Wed May 3 202312:07Corbin Carroll Trending Toward A Return
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (knee) didn't play again on Tuesday against the Texas Rangers, but he continues to trend toward a return and isn't dealing with a significant left knee injury, according to manager Torey Lovullo. "He is continuing to check boxes and show us the signs that he is feeling good and he's healthy," Lovullo said. "We're still waiting for a complete diagnosis and we have to make sure he's in the right place to go out there and execute without going backwards or getting hurt. He's getting close. He's getting very close." Carroll suffered a left-knee contusion last Saturday when he crashed into the outfield wall, but it sounds as though he could return to the lineup later this week/weekend. An MRI exam on Monday ruled out major structural issues. Carroll was able to take batting practice on Tuesday.

Mon May 1 202312:10Corbin Carroll Undergoing Precautionary MRI
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (knee) suffered a left knee contusion on Saturday against the Colorado Rockies when he crashed into the left-field wall. Carroll didn't play on Sunday but didn't appear to be dealing with a serious injury, dealing with obvious soreness and bruising. Even though he was feeling better on Sunday, the team will have Carroll undergo an MRI exam during Monday's off day to make sure nothing is seriously wrong. If his MRI exam comes back clean, there's a chance the 22-year-old outfielder could return to action on Tuesday. He's been excellent for fantasy managers in the early going in his first full MLB season, going 30-for-97 (.309) with eight doubles, a triple, four home runs, nine RBI, 10 stolen bases and 19 runs scored in 28 games.

Fri Mar 31 202316:06Corbin Carroll Hitting Fifth Against Right-Hander

With right-hander Dustin May on the mound for LA on Friday, Carroll will be bumped up to fifth in the order. He's also starting in left field after playing center field on Thursday. Alek Thomas is in center field on Friday. Carroll could hit even higher in Arizona's batting order this year, but for now he'll settle into the five-hole against a righty. The 22-year-old went 0-for-3 in the season opener on Thursday, but he should be back in all starting fantasy lineups in season-long leagues in Game 2.
