Fri Mar 15 2013 | 19:11 | David Lough continues torrid spring pace |
David Lough continued his torrid start to the Cactus League schedule, going 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored as the Royals topped the Padres 7-5 on Friday. |
The double was Lough's sixth of the spring, and he's now hitting a scintillating .567 (17-for-30) on the spring. He also swiped his third base in three attempts, and is making a serious push to make the Opening Day roster as a reserve outfielder. While he doesn't have tremendous upside, he could be a very cheap source of speed in deeper mixed leagues. |
