Sun Jul 6 201423:28Flande gives up nine hits, five runs vs. LA
Yohan Flande allowed nine hits and five runs over 4 1/3 innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Sunday.
Flande was behind the eight ball most of the day but managed to avoid damage until the fifth inning. When it rained, it poured as the Dodgers put up five runs in the frame, chasing Flande in the process. The left-hander walked two and didn't strike out a batter in the game. Flande owns a 7.36 ERA and 1.70 WHIP through three starts, but a date with the Twins on Saturday might offer a bit of relief.

Mon Jun 30 201422:58Yohan Flande takes loss to Nationals
Yohan Flande surrendered three runs in 5 1/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Nationals.
Flande has a 6.10 ERA after two starts for the Rockies, but maybe that'll be adequate enough to continue to hold off the more intriguing arms in the team's minor league system. Ideally, he won't be needed for too much longer.

Flande will remain in the Rockies rotation for the time being, next starting against the Nationals in the nation's capital on Monday.
