The moves makes room for Joe Beimel on the roster. Rogers gets demoted even though he allowed just one run and two hits over four innings in his three appearances. He'll be back soon. | ||||||

The Rockies may consider keeping long reliever Esmil Rogers in the big leagues, even when Joe Beimel is ready to be activated. | ||||||
Either Matt Daley or Manny Corpas would have to be demoted, since they're the only Colorado relievers besides Rogers with minor league options remaining. Of course, this plan could change entirely if Rogers gets blown up in his first outing. He has yet to officially take the mound this year. | ||||||
