Young Jr. is waiting for the soreness in his right shin to subside. Until it does, he won't be able to play full games and won't be at his best stealing bases. The hope is that he will be ready by this weekend. |

Eric Young Jr. underwent X-rays on his sore right shin which revealed no structural damage. |
That's the good news. Still, Young isn't sure if he will be available for this week's series against the Diamondbacks. It's a tough blow for fantasy owners who have seen the young speedster swipe 17 bags in just 45 games this season. Jonathan Herrera will likely fill in until he's ready to return. |
