Edward Mujica worked the ninth inning of Sunday's 6-3 win over the Padres for his second save of the season.
Interesting. We thought that Steve Cishek would be taking over for the struggling Heath Bell, but Mujica got the call and easily converted the opportunity. Perhaps Cishek wasn't available after throwing three innings on Friday. Either way, manager Ozzie Guillen has indicated that Bell will be back in the closer's role eventually.

Thu May 3 201218:59Edward Mujica picks up save for Marlins
Edward Mujica pitched a scoreless ninth for a save Thursday against the Marlins.
Heath Bell had worked three straight days, so he was unavailable today regardless. Of course, Bell has been terrible, so the opportunity could be there for Mujica to pick up more saves. We prefer both Steve Cishek and Ryan Webb as pitchers, but it doesn't much matter what we think, now does it? Webb, for what it's worth, pitched a scoreless eighth to set up Mujica today. Cishek had the day off after throwing two scoreless innings Wednesday.
