Miguel Gonzalez beat the White Sox by allowing one run in seven innings and striking out six on Thursday. |
It was just the White Sox, but it was still good to see Gonzalez show some improvement. His ERA had jumped from 3.34 on July 20 to 4.11 coming into tonight. He gave up seven runs in four innings and struck out none in a loss to the Yankees next time out. He'll get the Yankees again in his next start, and given the Orioles' tough schedule the rest of the way, he seems like a long shot to contribute in mixed leagues this month. |
