Tue Jan 15 201323:17Willie Green gets hot for 15 points
Willie Green shot 5-of-6 from the field for 15 points with one rebound, one steal and two 3-pointers in just 17 minutes against the Rockets on Tuesday.
He played 21 minutes on Monday and had just six points, so there is hardly enough evidence to suggest he'll be able to produce in the event Chris Paul sits on Thursday. Green can be left on the wire in the vast majority of leagues.

Wed Dec 5 201221:19Willie Green draws start with Billlups out
Willie Green will start at shooting guard with Chauncey Billups (foot) out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.
He was only playing about 17 minutes per game before Billups returned, so he's only really an option in deeper leagues.

Sat Nov 24 201209:08Willie Green appears to be odd man out
With Chauncey Billups aiming to return in December, it appears Willie Green will be the odd man out of the rotation.
Green has started every game at SG, but averages just six points, 1.4 rebounds, one assist and one three in 18.5 minutes. Green shouldn't be on your fantasy radar to begin with and whatever value he had will disappear once Billups returns.

Mon Jul 30 201218:26Hawks sign-and-trade Willie Green to Clippers
The Hawks sent Willie Green to the Clippers via sign-and-trade on Monday, getting back Greek center Sofoklis Schortsanitis and a trade exception equal to Green's first-year salary.
Schortsanitis was drafted by the Clippers way back in 2003 and he just inked a three-year deal in Greece, so don't expect to see him in a Hawks jersey. The move gives L.A. some additional backcourt depth, important should Chris Paul or Chauncey Billups get hurt, while Hawks GM Danny Ferry continues to build a reserve of young talent, draft picks and salary cap flexibility.

Wed Apr 4 201222:52Willie Green scores 17 in Hawks win
Willie Green hit 5-of-9 shots and three 3-pointers for 17 points in 23 minutes on Wednesday.
He's been doing this off and on all season, but trying to catch Green on the right night is kind of like trying to catch lightning in a bottle. It's not easy.

Sat Mar 31 201201:42Green comes out of nowhere to score 20 pts
Willie Green went unconscious on Friday against the Knicks, hitting 8-of-9 shots (including two threes) for 20 points with four rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench.
Surely this will earn him some minutes going forward, but the eventual return of Jannero Pargo, Vladimir Radmanovic, and Tracy McGrady are all reasons to make Green do this again.

Wed Mar 21 201223:49Willie Green returns from nine-gae absence
Willie Green returned from a 10-game absence with a hamstring injury and had three points in 15 minutes on Wednesday.
He'll have some decent games in spurts, but is far too unreliable to use in fantasy leagues.

Wed Mar 21 201211:30Willie Green expected back on Wednesday night
Willie Green (hamstring) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Cavs.
Green has not played since February 29 due to the injury, but his return comes at a really good time for the Hawks. With Vladimir Radmanovic (back) and Marvin Williams (back) both out, Green will certainly see run off the bench.

Mon Mar 19 201222:56Green (hamstring) does not play on Monday
Willie Green (hamstring) was set to play on Monday, but did not get into the game due to coach's decision.
We're pulling Green from the injury report, and if another report emerges that he's hurt we'll put him back on. Until proven otherwise, he has no fantasy value.

Willie Green is now dealing with hamstring and groin problems in addition to his back woes.
Green's back issues have led to compensation issues in his legs. He's missed six straight games. "It's a matter of it calming down and the soreness getting out. Once that happens, I'm good to go," Green said. "I'm just trying to wait patiently and not cause any more damage."

Mon Mar 5 201213:25Willie Green questionable with back issue
Willie Green (back) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Pacers.
It's bad timing for Green as both Joe Johnson (knee, doubtful) and Tracy McGrady (knee, questionable) are hobbled. The veteran can't be trusted as a bench player at less than 100 percent.
