Wed Jul 2 201416:56Magic waive Ronnie Price on Wednesday
Magic waive G Ronnie Price.
The Magic had one of the more shocking moves so far in free agency, signing Ben Gordon to a three-year deal. Price joins Doron Lamb as players who have been waived by the Magic in the past week. He might catch on with another team as a third-string point guard.

Wed Mar 5 201421:51Ronnie Price commits six TOs in start
Ronnie Price started for Jameer Nelson (illness) on Wednesday and hit 4-of-6 shots for eight points, five assists, two steals and six turnovers.
He had a tough matchup against Patrick Beverley tonight, but somehow won the battle. E'Twaun Moore came off the bench and had nine points and two assists in 26 minutes, but both Magic guards won't be worth owning once Nelson is healthy again.

Wed Mar 5 201417:37Ronnie Price will start again on Wednesday
Ronnie Price will start against the Rockets on Wednesday in place of Jameer Nelson (illness).
He'll have to deal with Patrick Beverley tonight, so that should be a real treat for him. Price didn't make any of his seven shots from the field in his start on Sunday and he's shooting just 28.3 percent from the field on the season. Coach Jacque Vaughn probably won't allow him to play 24 minutes again, so there's a good chance E'Twaun Moore can see more than his 32 minutes from Sunday. The Magic are expected to start Price, Arron Afflalo, Moe Harkless, Tobias Harris and Nikola Vucevic tonight.

Sun Mar 2 201421:11Ronnie Price shoots 0-of-7 in start at PG
Ronnie Price had zero points on 0-of-7 shooting, two assists and two steals in 24 minutes during his first start of the season on Sunday, filling in for Jameer Nelson (sore calf).
Even if Nelson misses more games, tonight's dud underscores the fact that Price is not a compelling waiver wire pickup. He would also face a two-game week and competition from E'Twaun Moore (11 points in 32 minutes) and Victor Oladipo (nine points, four assists) for primary ball-handling duties.

Fri Jan 31 201422:53Ronnie Price plays eight minutes
Ronnie Price played eight minutes against the Bucks on Friday with two points, one board and one assist.
He only had one shot in this game and it was a breakaway two-handed reverse dunk, so at least he gets some style points. Price's foot injury has been a issue for a while and he's unlikely to get significant minutes unless Jameer Nelson (knee).

Thu Jan 23 201416:05Ronnie Price (foot) to miss fifth straight
Ronnie Price (sprained foot) will miss his fifth consecutive game vs. the Lakers on Friday.
Orlando's backup PG doesn't sound close to a return, given how early the team ruled him out, but his continued absence shouldn't affect any fantasy lineups.

Sat Jan 18 201416:45Ronnie Price (foot) will not play vs. Celtics
Ronnie Price (sprained foot) will miss his second consecutive game vs. Boston on Sunday.
The fact that he was ruled out well in advance of the game suggests that it's at least a moderate sprain. His absence could open up extra playing time for E'Twaun Moore as the Magic try to snap their 10-game losing streak.

Fri Jan 17 201417:26Ronnie Price hurt again, out Friday
Ronnie Price sprained his right foot in practice on Thursday and will not play against the Bobcats.
He returned to the lineup and played 12 minutes in Wednesday's triple-overtime loss. Price is basically a third-string point guard and has barely any fantasy value.

Ronnie Price returned to the lineup on Wednesday with no points and two boards in 12 minutes.
He had an illness and didn't travel with the team on their road trip before returning tonight. Price should be left on the wire in all leagues unless Jameer Nelson's cramping problems keep him from action on Friday.

Mon Oct 21 201309:54Ronnie Price makes Magic preseason debut
Ronnie Price made his preseason debut for the Magic on Sunday, coming off the bench to score four points with three assists and two steals in 22 minutes.
It's nice to see the veteran PG healthy prior to the regular season, but he has no fantasy value as long as Jameer Nelson and Victor Oladipo are in uniform.

Tue Jul 16 201313:48Magic pick up former Blazer Ronnie Price
Ronnie Price has agreed to a deal with the Orlando Magic.
The eight-year vet played 39 games with the Blazers last season, scoring just 2.7 points on 32.5 percent shooting. This signing may rule out the possibility of Beno Udrih coming back to Orlando. Price will provide emergency guard depth for the team.

Thu Feb 21 201315:47Ronnie Price doesn't practice on Thursday
Ronnie Price (ankle) did not practice on Thursday.
It's still unclear on whether or not the Blazers will keep Price around with their acquisition of Eric Maynor before the deadline. He has no value in any fantasy league.

Wed Feb 20 201316:42Ronnie Price sits out practice Wednesday
Ronnie Price (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
Price's ankle injury has been a season-long issue, but his limited role means it hasn't really affected much of the fantasy landscape. The Blazers next play Friday, so it's likely the Blazers and Price are choosing to rest it rather than push the backup PG in practice. Nolan Smith and Will Barton would see extra time if Price sits Friday.

Sun Feb 10 201320:50Ronnie Price (ankle) doesn't play Sunday
Ronnie Price (ankle) was a game-time decision on Sunday, but he never left the Blazers' bench.
Price is day-to-day but with two games remaining before the All-Star break, the Blazers may be tempted to rest him a while longer. His absence means more playing time for Nolan Smith and Will Barton.

Sun Feb 10 201309:24Ronnie Price (ankle) could play Sunday
Ronnie Price (right ankle) practiced on Saturday and could return to action vs. the Magic.
Nolan Smith and Will Barton have each picked up a few extra minutes with Price sidelined, and his return will bolster one of the league's thinnest benches. He is averaging about 13 minutes per game in relief of Damian Lillard this season.
