Frye (elbow/triceps) says he will not miss any games because of his injury, the Orlando Sentinel's Josh Robbins reports.

He tweaked the elbow Jan. 2, and played just 13 minutes Jan. 3, however X-rays Sunday revealed no fractures and just a sprain, so he will continue to play through it. His value has plummeted this season after being a nice comeback story in 2013-14 with the Suns, as he is more of a role player off the bench in Orlando, despite signing a significant free agent contract this summer.

Frye left Saturday's game against Charlotte with the injury, playing only 12 minutes before exiting. While he could still miss a game or two, the team is officially listing him as day-to-day, so Frye should be considered questionable to play Wednesday in Denver.

Frye played 12 minutes but did not score before exiting Saturday's game. The extent of his setback is uncertain, so it remains to be seen if it will prevent him from playing in Orlando's next game Wednesday.

This marks Frye's first double-digit scoring output in six games, and it's clear he has been struggling ever since his solid start. He's relinquished his starting role to Kyle O'Quinn (17 minutes), but still has managed to hit 20-plus minutes in three of his last four games. Frye won't be an option in standard leagues at this rate, but he's still worth holding onto in 14-man leagues or deeper.

Frye scored 13 points (4-9 FG, 3-6 3P, 2-2 FT) with five rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Celtics.

He's still getting his looks from beyond the arc, sinking multiple three-pointers in seven of his last eight games, but Frye has scored double-digits points just three times over that stretch. He'll provide a handful of boards and the occasional block or steal, but the one-dimensional nature of his game right now makes Frye very tough to roster in anything but deeper leagues.

Frye has attempted 5.3 shots per game over his last eight games, converting them at a 31 percent clip. He quipped, "I can get my shot off whenever I want. But I'm not going to take a bad shot." Coach Jacque Vaughn added, "he's being very smart about, and very selective about, the shots he's taking because he's trying to send the right message to his teammates that he wants to take quality shots. And that's an OK message for us right now," the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Sophomore guard Victor Oladipo entered the starting lineup 11 games ago, partially the reason behind the offensive rut. Frye is shooting eight percent points worse while sharing the court with Oladipo, whose been forced into primary ball-handling duties for the second straight season. With then news that Nikola Vucevic (back) could miss time, Frye may be forced to shoot more in order to spark the offense. Frye is still shooting 41.1 percent from downtown on the season and sinking 2.0 three-pointers per game, exactly what fantasy managers should've expected.

Frye had a hot start to the season, but has fallen flat ever since. He's averaging just 5.2 points (33 percent FG) over the last six games, and has yet to hit double-digit scoring in any of them. It's a mystery how he's struggled so mightily despite playing big minutes, and owners may easily be tempted to drop him. However, patience could be a virtue, as there's a good chance Frye will return to 12-man league relevance sooner than later.

Frye scored a season-high 19 points (7-15 FG, 5-8 3P) with six rebounds and two assists in a team-high 43 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Raptors.

He's drained multiple three-pointers in five of his last six games, and Frye seems to be finding a comfortable home as a stretch four in Orlando's offense.

Frye had another night where he was reluctant to shoot the ball, or contribute any other stats fantasy wise. He finished his night with 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, and three turnovers in 33 minutes.

So far Frye has not been a big contributor in the Magic's offense. While he has been a solid source of three-pointers, he doesn't shoot the ball enough to set himself up for bigger numbers. On top of that he doesn't contribute enough across the board to make up for his lack of volume. His skill set offers a lot of fantasy promise, but until he finds more ways to contribute he won't come close to the numbers he put up while in Phoenix.

He's starting to get comfortable in Orlando, and while Frye won't be a key cog in the Magic offense his presence as a stretch four should help the likes of Tobias Harris and Victor Oladipo (once he's healthy) get better looks.

Frye scored nine points (3-4 FG) and had seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 36 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Bulls.

Frye remains a sharp-shooter from the outside, only scoring from three-point range. He got all the minutes that he could handle on Tuesday, but fantasy owners have to be a bit disappointed with his lack of scoring, as every other starter took at least 14 shots.

Frye returned from his knee injury, playing in 24 minutes for the Magic on Thursday but scoring just 2 points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt) against the Wizards.

Frye's minutes were likely limited given he was still recovering from a MCL sprain that forced him to miss the season opener on Tuesday. He did very little against the Wizards, pulling down just two rebounds and failing to record an assist, steal or block. As he continues to heal, though, Frye's numbers and minutes will increase.

Frye has been dealing with a sprained left MCL since the beginning of October and has consequentially been limited throughout training camp as a result. At this point Frye's status for the opener against the Pelicans on Tuesday is up in the air and will have to be updated closer to game time when Frye has had a few more days to feel out the injury.

The Magic have preseason tilts scheduled for Wednesday and Friday, but it remains to be seen if he'll be a consideration in the frontcourt rotation before the regular season commences next Tuesday in New Orleans. Active status is contingent upon the health of the sprained MCL in his left knee, which he was icing Monday.

Frye has been steadily increasing his workload over the past week and was seen putting up jumpers Saturday, but he's still not quite where he needs to be to play on the sprained knee. The 31-year-old started all 82 games last season while with Phoenix, and he still has 10 days to get right for the start of the 2014-15 campaign.
