Rudy Fernandez (Achilles) is listed as a game-time decision for Wednesday's game in Sacramento.
Fernandez has missed three of the last four games and logged less than 12 minutes in his last two appearances. He'll need to be eased back in, but will eventually cut into the minutes of Al Harrington and Andre Miller.

Sat Jan 21 201219:35Rudy Fernandez ruled out against Knicks
Rudy Fernandez will not play for the Nuggets on Saturday due to an achilles injury.
This one is lingering and with Arron Afflalo (groin) also out, Andre Miller could play 45 minutes tonight. Fernandez is day-to-day with the injury.

Sat Jan 21 201210:32Rudy Fernandez (Achilles) iffy for Saturday
Rudy Fernandez (Achilles) is questionable to play on Saturday.
Fernandez returned to action on Friday but lasted only 12 minutes before the injury forced him to sit. He's aggravated his Achilles a few times already and we're speculating that an extended period of rest may be needed, but he'll be re-evaluated on Saturday before any decisions are made.

Fri Jan 20 201222:22Fernandez (Achilles) scores six points
Rudy Fernandez (Achilles) played 12 minutes on Friday, scoring six points on 3-of-5 shooting with one rebound, two assists, and one steal.
Fernandez is going to be much too inconsistent for use in standard-sized leagues, and the jury is still out on whether he can provide value in 14-16 team leagues, too.

Fri Jan 20 201219:36Fernandez (Achilles) plays in Friday's game
Rudy Fernandez (Achilles) played in Friday's game against the Wizards.
He was a game-time call but there was no report regarding his status anywhere. He joined the game with the second unit when he normally does, so owners looking at he or Corey Brewer can assess accordingly.

Fri Jan 20 201211:58Rudy Fernandez a game-time call on Friday
Rudy Fernandez (Achilles) will be a game-time call on Friday.
Fernandez missed Wednesday's game with the injury but was hoping to return on Friday. Corey Brewer would see an increased role once again if Fernandez is unable to suit up, but his production is far too inconsistent to be relied upon for owners in standard sized leagues.

Wed Jan 18 201216:41Rudy Fernandez (Achilles) out Wednesday
Rudy Fernandez (Achilles) will not play on Wednesday.
He's hoping to return on Friday. Corey Brewer, who scored 22 points in 34 minutes on Tuesday, should absorb most of Fernandez's playing time again on Wednesday.

Tue Jan 17 201223:46Rudy Fernandez a game-time decision
Rudy Fernandez missed Tuesday's win over the Bucks with an achilles injury and will be a game-time decision for Wednesday at Philadelphia.
He was hot before suffering the injury, but might struggle to get back into the flow once he does return. If he plays on Wednesday and is productive, think about grabbing him if you need threes.

Rudy Fernandez (Achilles) is not expected to play against the Bucks Tuesday.

Rudy Fernandez played nine minutes on Sunday but left with a strained Achilles and will not return.
Rudy was a game-time decision with the same injury and may have come back too soon. He's been playing well lately so the timing is upsetting, and we're calling him questionable for Denver's road games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thu Jan 12 201220:52Fernandez dealing with an Achilles' injury
Rudy Fernandez showed up as probable for Friday's game against the Heat due to an Achilles' injury.
This is the first we've heard of this, and we wouldn't let it impact your assessment of him too much right now. Fernandez is worth a look in deeper formats, particularly in the short-term if Ty Lawson (foot) cannot play.

Thu Jan 12 201201:55Rudy Fernandez has big night w/o Lawson
Rudy Fernandez had 15 points, five rebounds, eight assists, four steals and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's win.
He was playing some backup point guard with Ty Lawson out and produced a great stat line. He's hit double figures in scoring in four of his last five games with seven 3-pointers over that stretch, but is only worth a look in deeper leagues while coming off the bench for the Nuggets.

Tue Jan 10 201203:14Fernandez starting to show up in box scores
Rudy Fernandez scored 14 points off the bench on Monday, hitting 6-of-12 shots from the field (including two threes) with three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in 27 minutes.
Rudy is starting to show up in box scores, but he needs to produce like this a few more times before our ears perk up. He'll be bound to be inconsistent in his current bench role.

Sat Jan 7 201223:30Rudy Fernandez solid off bench on Saturday
Rudy Fernandez came off the Nuggets' bench on Saturday for 11 points, two 3-pointers, three rebounds, three assists and one steal.
Rudy logged 29 minutes, six above his season average, as the Nuggets resorted to numerous small-ball lineups in the absence of Nene. Rudy gives fantasy owners a steady 1.0 threes per game, and an occasional burst of assists, but he's not currently worth owning in average leagues.

Tue Dec 27 201104:27Fernandez makes Nuggets debut on Monday
Rudy Fernandez made his regular season Nuggets debut on Monday, scoring eight points on 2-of-8 shooting (1-of-7 from downtown) with four rebounds, two assists, and three steals in 30 minutes off the bench.
Rudy saw extra minutes due to the blowout, but it's good to see him show some separation from other backup players like Corey Brewer and Julyan Stone. We also learned that he had bought a house in Dallas before he was traded to Denver, which is better than hearing about him wanting to play in Spain. Rudy is waiver wire material.

Wed Dec 21 201115:15Rudy Fernandez iffy for Thursday's game
Rudy Fernandez and Al Harrington might miss Thursday's preseason game because they're "dinged up."
No cause for concern here, and this doesn't sound like anything that will keep either player out of Denver's season opener. Fernandez is slated to come off the bench for the Nuggets this season and presumably play the J.R. Smith role of hoisting up a whole bunch of threes.
