Blair has been a hot pickup, but it's night like this that make us flinch. He scored 18 and 23 points in his previous two, but has scored eight or less in three of his last five games. Blair is worth a look in most leagues, but like with any player under Gregg Popovich, owners have to be ready for the bad nights and mysterious DNPs.

With Tim Duncan resting and Tiago Splitter (back) ailing on Sunday, DeJuan Blair had a predictably big night -- 19 points, six rebounds and three steals in 31 minutes.

A late round producer on the year, he's droppable for a hot free agent, but as the starter don't be surprised if he returns to being valuable.

Blair is averaging 11.1 points and 6.5 rebounds in 24 minutes per game. If his minutes increased he'd be a must-own player, but as an undersized big man his production typically fluctuates based upon matchups.

If he was dropped in your league go ahead and give him a look. A nice source of points, boards, and steals, the inconsistency keeps him from being a must-own player in most 12-team formats.

Blair's minutes have been shaky again this season under Gregg Popovich, meaning he's going to have some big games and some duds. If you're eyeing a hot free agent and want to cut the inconsistent big man, it's probably not a bad idea.
