Fri Dec 27 201321:39Larry Sanders fouls out in 23 minutes vs Nets
Larry Sanders played 23 minutes before fouling out of Friday's game against the Nets, finishing 10 points, seven boards, two blocks and one steal.
He looked good outside of the fouls and gave the Bucks a much-needed interior presence. Sanders did not play next to John Henson at all in this game and the two basically split time at center. He does have some fouling issues in his career, but made some huge strides in that area after the break last season. Fantasy owners should consider him a must-own player in all formats after his breakout 2012-13 season.

Fri Dec 27 201311:29Larry Sanders to get around 20 minutes
Larry Sanders (thumb) is expected to play "20-plus" minutes off the bench on Friday, according to coach Larry Drew.
Given how poorly Sanders played before getting injured early this season, expectations should be tempered as he'll be dealing with soreness in his thumb, as well as some conditioning issues tonight. He has a good matchup against the centerless Nets and if he plays 25 minutes tonight, as Drew has suggested, he could end up being a decent fantasy play. But there is obviously a lot of risk involved by using him if you have other options.

Fri Dec 27 201310:43Larry Sanders' role on Friday up in the air
Larry Sanders is quite likely to play on Friday after missing all but three games this season with a right thumb injury, but how much or what his role will be will remain a mystery.
"We'll think about it a little bit," coach Larry Drew said. "I don't know what I'll do yet, but I like having the options." The Bucks will have 13 players available for just the third time this season, as Ersan Ilyasova is also expected to return, and whose role is also unknown. Drew has struggled to put a consistent rotation together with limited resources, so how he's going to manage 13 players who are all expecting minutes is going to be a spectacle to behold. As usual, start your Bucks at your own risk, especially now with so many of them healthy.

Thu Dec 26 201314:55Larry Sanders (thumb) probable to play Friday
Larry Sanders (thumb) practiced with the Bucks on Thursday and he's probable to play in Friday's game vs. the Nets.
Unless he has a setback, patient fantasy owners will finally get Sanders back in the active rotation this week. Larry Drew limited Sanders' playing time early in the year and John Henson has proven capable as a center, but Zaza Pachulia (foot) is out of commission and it's doubtful that rookie Miroslav Raduljica will be a thorn in Sanders' side. We expect some rust, and Sanders' conditioning might be an issue, so consider keeping him benched until he's up to speed.

Thu Dec 19 201314:59Larry Sanders (thumb) 'close' to practicing
Larry Sanders (thumb) has been working out twice a day in Milwaukee but he has yet to return to practice.
The good news is that coach Larry Drew "feels [Sanders] is close to practicing]." With Zaza Pachulia (foot) out of commission and Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) being shut down, Sanders should be immune to the playing-time issues which spoiled the first few games of his season.

Fri Dec 13 201319:21Larry Sanders (thumb) fitted for a glove
Larry Sanders has been fitted for a glove and has been working on catching a basketball, according to coach Larry Drew.
He's on the comeback trail after getting a pin removed from his thumb on Monday and has been cleared for basketball activities. Sanders still doesn't have a timetable to return, but it's fair to expect him to return at some point this month. John Henson has played very well at center and earned minutes, so that might limit Sanders' upside after his breakout 2012-13 campaign. His ability to block shots makes him a must-stash player in all formats.

Mon Dec 9 201313:34Larry Sanders has pin removed from his thumb
Larry Sanders had the pin removed from his surgically-repaired thumb on Monday, and is now wearing a splint.
Sanders is about four weeks into his initial six-week timetable, so we should see him on the court toward the end of December. His return can't come soon enough for the foundering Bucks, who just lost Zaza Pachulia (fractured foot) for at least four weeks.

Wed Dec 4 201316:21Milwaukee police issue citations to Sanders
The Milwaukee police have issued two citations to Larry Sanders, according to Wisn.com.
Sanders was upset about getting sprayed with champagne and got into an altercation with several people at a club on Nov. 3. The incident has forced Sanders to miss over a month of action and he doesn't have a concrete return date set yet. There haven't been many updates, but he was still in a cast last week. He was expected to miss six weeks, meaning he should be back on the court at some point this month. The video of the incident is attached in the link below.

Mon Nov 11 201319:18Sanders (thumb surgery) out est. six weeks
Larry Sanders will miss an estimated six weeks after undergoing surgery on his right thumb on Monday.
Despite statements made by the team to the contrary, owners aren't going to take the possibility that he did this in a bar fight lately, and neither should fans of the Bucks after he was handed a big contract. Zaza Pachulia is a must-add player regardless of his injury status, as is John Henson, and Ersan Ilyasova owners should hang tight.

Mon Nov 11 201316:02Larry Sanders (thumb) doesn't practice Monday
Larry Sanders (thumb) did not practice on Monday and is listed as day-to-day.
He went through some practice last week, so this is discouraging news. Sanders hasn't played in his last two games due to his thumb injury suffered in a bar fight, and before that he was playing just 17.3 minutes per game. Those that drafted him simply have to ride it out because they're likely going to be selling him at a price less than 50 cents on the dollar. Zaza Pachulia likely serves as a nice spot-start on Tuesday.

Sat Nov 9 201319:08Larry Sanders will not play vs. Dallas Sat.
Larry Sanders (thumb) will not play against the Mavericks on Saturday.
The information on the Bucks has been the most sporadic of any team this season and today was no different with Sanders. He was going through practice earlier this week with a splint on his thumb, but the team he apparently wasn't well enough to play. Zaza Pachulia and John Henson are starting in the frontcourt tonight. Sanders should be considered for Tuesday's game against Miami.

Sat Nov 9 201315:36Larry Sanders (thumb) listed as doubtful
The Bucks' official injury report lists Larry Sanders (thumb sprain) as doubtful to play in Saturday's game.
He was previously listed as a game-time decision and this new report shouldn't be taken as the final word -- owners hoping that Sanders will break out of his funk on Saturday night should loop back for updates in the coming hours.

Fri Nov 8 201313:51Larry Sanders a game-time decision Saturday
Larry Sanders will be a game-time decision on Saturday due to his swollen thumb.
The good news is that it sounds like coach Larry Drew is ready to roll with Sanders as soon as he's ready to play again, although Drew also said that he'd prefer to stick with his current starting five "until everyone is healthy." If he plays, Sanders might come off the bench.

Fri Nov 8 201312:19Larry Sanders gave victim eight stitches
A victim from Larry Sanders' incident over the past weekend received eight stitches as a direct result of Sanders' actions, according to a lawyer's statement.
Sanders won't be facing criminal charges and coach Larry Drew said he's going to help his center moving forward. He went through a light practice with a splint on his thumb, which should indicate there's nothing structurally wrong. He and the Bucks will play against the Mavericks on Saturday.

Thu Nov 7 201313:20Larry Sanders will not face criminal charges
Larry Sanders will not face criminal charges for his off-court incident on Sunday.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney's has cleared Sanders of criminal charges after Sunday's fight, which is good news for his fantasy owners. He's not out of the woods yet as the league could still suspend him, but that's looking increasingly unlikely now that the criminal charges have been dropped. Now the "only" things that his owners have to worry about are his thumb injury that leaves his status unclear for Saturday and his lackluster play of late...

Thu Nov 7 201311:22New details emerge in Larry Sanders' incident
More details have emerged in Larry Sanders' off-court incident.
The murky report from Sunday has begun to get a little clearer as Sanders allegedly started a fight in the VIP room of the club he was at and broke bottle of champagne over a man's head. There's a "champagne room" joke in here somewhere, but Sanders' owners won't find this news too funny as the already-struggling center could miss some time due to a suspension. Zaza Pachulia and less so, John Henson, will be players to look at if Sanders continues to miss time.

Tue Nov 5 201314:34Larry Sanders (thumb) expects to play Wed.
Larry Sanders missed Tuesday's practice due to a swollen right thumb, but he hopes to play on Wednesday.
Although the injury doesn't seem serious, this will do nothing to calm fantasy owners shaken by his paltry averages of 2.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 17 minutes per game. Check back after Wednesday's shootaround for the latest on his status. Congratulations are also in order for Sanders and his wife, who gave birth to a girl on Monday.

Mon Nov 4 201314:49Larry Sanders skips practice w/ wife in labor
Larry Sanders missed Monday's practice because his wife went into labor.
It's an exciting day for the Sanders family, and shouldn't have any on-court repercussions since Milwaukee is off until Wednesday. The real concern for fantasy owners is that Sanders is averaging 17.3 minutes per game and coach Larry Drew has shown no compunction about benching him in favor of Zaza Pachulia or smaller lineups. Just remember that we're a handful of games into the season, and the Bucks just lavished a massive extension on Sanders -- his numbers are bound to improve in the near future.

Sun Nov 3 201310:51Larry Sanders upset about limited minutes
Larry Sanders complained about his limited playing time after being benched in the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss to the Raptors.
"Last year I finished so many games. I feel like that's when I lock in the most," Sanders said. "But I haven't been able to get in the game to finish. That carries over to the next game. When you sit the last three quarters of each game, I can't have no carryover. And it's hard for me. I'm still a young player." He's averaging a mere 2.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 17.3 minutes per game under new coach Larry Drew, who is giving plenty of minutes to Zaza Pachulia and has deployed small lineups down the stretch.
