Wed Mar 19 201411:43Larry Sanders (hand) done for the season
Larry Sanders (fractured hand) confirmed that he will not return this season.
Sanders is traveling with the Bucks but he's targeting mid-April to begin light activity. Zaza Pachulia will continue to start at center for the woeful Bucks, with John Henson starting at PF during any games Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) sits out, but neither Pachulia nor Henson have helped owners in standard nine-cat leagues over the past two weeks.

Tue Feb 18 201418:48Larry Sanders (eye) may be done for season
Larry Sanders (fractured orbital bone) is unlikely to do any basketball-related activities during his six-week rehab, putting the rest of his season in danger.
Sanders season has gone from bad to worse and the silver lining here is that fantasy owners in re-draft leagues can cut him without compunction. Zaza Pachulia is a nice pickup as the Bucks' starting center, while John Henson (assuming he can stay healthy) also gets a boost with Sanders no longer clogging up the frontcourt rotation.

Fri Feb 14 201411:17Larry Sanders (eye) out at least six weeks
Larry Sanders will miss a minimum of six weeks after having surgery to repair his fractured orbital bone on Thursday.
Fantasy owners have no choice but to drop Sanders in all formats, as a return in late March would leave him with around a dozen games at most. Zaza Pachulia is a decent pickup despite his lack of blocks, as he'll continue to start at center, while John Henson's value is also solidified with Sanders out of commission.

Thu Feb 13 201423:39Larry Sanders (eye) has surgery Thursday
Larry Sanders (eye) said on Twitter he had surgery on Thursday.
He posted a picture on Twitter of himself in a hospital room and this surgery was presumably to correct his broken orbital bone. Sanders still does not have a timetable to return, but the fact that he needed surgery suggests he might be looking at a multiple-week absence. Zaza Pachulia will continue to start in his place and John Henson should be a big factor as long as his foot injury is not serious.

Mon Feb 10 201418:56Update: Larry Sanders (eye) out indefinitely
Larry Sanders suffered a fractured orbital bone during Saturday's game and will be out indefinitely.
He will see a specialist on Tuesday and the team will hopefully update his status. Based on previous injuries, typical fractured orbital bones can sideline players anywhere from 1-6 weeks, so Sanders' outlook is a little unclear at this point. Fantasy owners will have to weigh their options with regard to stashing him. Zaza Pachulia is worth adding in most leagues while Miroslac Raduljica will get more minutes, as well. John Henson should get tons of minutes and should be viewed as a must-start player.

Mon Feb 10 201418:22Larry Sanders out through All-Star break
Larry Sanders (left eye) will not play on Monday or Wednesday night.
He has blurred vision from being poked in the eye on Saturday vs. the Rockets. It's very concerning to see Sanders still not being able to be back so soon, which raises the question if he's dealing with a retinal injury or something that may keep him out beyond the All-Star break. Hopefully, the Bucks have a specific update on what's bothering him. Meanwhile, John Henson should get all the minutes he can handle while Miroslav Radulijca and Zaza Pachulia will help out.

Sun Feb 9 201414:19Larry Sanders is questionable for Monday
Larry Sanders (right eye) is questionable for Monday's game against the Celtics.
He was expected to return after being poked in the eye in the first half, but was ruled out in the third quarter due to blurred vision. Sanders still dealing with the problem a day after is a little discouraging, but Monday morning's shootaround should be a big indicator of his status heading into the short week.

Sat Feb 8 201421:54Update: Larry Sanders (eye) out for game
Larry Sanders will not return to Saturday's game due to blurred vision.
In typical Bucks fashion, Sanders was expected to return to the game and the team changed their mind on him. It's unknown if his blurred vision will keep him out for any more game action and the team will hopefully update his status before Monday's game. Miroslav Raduljica started the second half and Zaza Pachulia should also see more playing time.

Sat Feb 8 201421:29Larry Sanders (eye) expected to return
Larry Sanders was poked in the left eye in the second quarter and is expected to return to Saturday's game.
Luckily for the Bucks, Sanders seems like he's fine. The Bucks don't have much depth -- or talent in general -- but Sanders has at least been able to turn around his disappointing season lately.

Sat Feb 8 201420:50Larry Sanders suffers injury vs. Rockets
Larry Sanders suffered an apparent head injury during the second quarter against the Rockets on Saturday and went to the locker room.
Sanders looked to take an elbow to the face and had trouble getting up under the basket. He walked back to the locker room after getting some attention from the training staff on the bench, so hopefully the team will have an update soon. The shorthanded Bucks will give Zaza Pachulia and Miroslav Raduljica some extra run to help John Henson.

Fri Feb 7 201409:43Report: Bucks turning down offers for Sanders
Sources tell ESPN's Marc Stein that the Bucks are turning down all trade offers for Larry Sanders.
For once, the Bucks aren't looking to sell a player when his value is at its lowest. Although Sanders has had a nightmare season including off-court incidents and inconsistent on-court play, he was signed to a four-year, $44 million deal in August for a reason. When he has his head on straight, he can change games as a rim protector. We've started to see some of that effectiveness lately as he's averaged 13.4 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.0 blocks over the last five games.

Thu Feb 6 201402:32Larry Sanders finally comes through 25 & 15
Larry Sanders hit 12-of-19 shots for 25 points, 15 rebounds, a steal and a block in Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets.
The Nuggets tend to give it up to big men like Sanders and he came through tonight, as both the points and rebounds were easily season highs for the big man. He's starting to come on and while it's unfortunate he can't play Denver every night, he is now averaging 13.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.0 blocks over his last five games. Ersan Ilyasova left with a sore back tonight, and his absence would likely mean more touches for Larry, as well. Hopefully this doesn't end up being his best game of the season.

Tue Feb 4 201401:26Sanders settling into his role for the Bucks
Larry Sanders scored eight points on 3-of-4 shooting with 11 rebounds and a block in Monday's win over the Knicks.
Knocking on wood for his owners, Sanders has quietly regained some consistency and also had a massive line on Friday. If he can make sure the slow nights look like this it will go a long way toward smoothing things over with his frustrated owners.

Sat Feb 1 201423:24Larry Sanders plays fine in loss to Grizzlies
Larry Sanders scored 10 points with eight boards and two blocks in 30 minutes against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
The line isn't great, but not getting in foul trouble against the Grizzlies frontcourt and making both of his free throws are two terrific positives. Sanders is slowly but surely getting it together and the Bucks are giving him the ball in the post more, as well. Although, his fantasy owners probably shouldn't be expecting him to have a repeat performance from his breakout 2012-13.

Fri Jan 31 201421:27Larry Sanders fills stat sheet in loss Friday
Larry Sanders provided plenty of defensive stats against the Magic on Friday with four steals and four blocks, while adding 10 points, nine boards and two assists in 33 minutes.
Despite his horrific season, Sanders has defended well on the year. Among all big men with at least 24 minutes per game, he ranks first on opponent field goal percentage allowed at the rim. The bad news is he's been in and out of the lineup for silly reasons, but after a night like tonight, he really can't be left on the wire.

Thu Jan 30 201400:43Larry Sanders plays well in return from flu
Larry Sanders wasn't feeling 100 percent after a week-long bout with an illness, but played well on Wednesday, finishing with 14 points, nine rebounds and two blocks on 7-of-11 shooting.
Owners would be thrilled with the Show if he could do this on a regular basis, and it's really not asking too much from a guy who was so explosive last season. Maybe he'll finally get healthy, stay healthy and start playing like the high draft pick he was this year.

Wed Jan 29 201418:58Larry Sanders says he's playing Wednesday
Larry Sanders (flu) says he's going to give it a go on Wednesday night, although he's clearly not near 100 percent.
He doesn't have much energy and doesn't look like he feels well, but he's going to see what he can do. This could either end very well or very poorly for Sanders, the Bucks and his owners.

Wed Jan 29 201418:47Larry Sanders is a game-time call Wednesday
Larry Sanders (illness) is a game-time call on Wednesday.
It's not often players are probable at shootaround due to an illness, then become a game-time decision. Although, it's not often players miss a game on Wednesday due to an illness, play over the weekend, then miss a game on Tuesday due to an illness. Sanders has become more trouble than he's worth right now, especially if he sits tonight. John Henson would start and has more fantasy value right now

Wed Jan 29 201412:32Larry Sanders probable to play vs. Suns
Larry Sanders went through Wednesday's shootaround and he's considered probable to return vs. the Suns.
Sanders has played just under 21 minutes in each of his past three games, which makes him doubly risky on a busy 10-game night in the NBA when most fantasy owners will have lineup alternatives. At the very least, keep him sidelined until his availability is confirmed.

Tue Jan 28 201414:21Larry Sanders sits out practice again w/ flu
Larry Sanders sat out Tuesday's practice due to "flu-like symptoms."
O.J. Mayo also sat out again and both guys have been dealing with the illness for nearly a week, which seems more than a bit suspicious. Mayo is in the midst of a forgettable first season in Milwaukee and nothing has gone right for Sanders, whose starting job and playing time are even more tenuous with Zaza Pachulia (foot) nearing a return. Fantasy owners should consider Mayo and Sanders day-to-day as we await some clarification about their health.
