Doctors believe that Splitter's calf strain, which has kept him out of four of five games this season, is related to inflammation in a disc in his back that was detected in an MRI exam Wednesday. "We don't know if it is a problem in the calf or the back. It's complicated," Splitter said. "We're going to see a back specialist and see what he says about it and see what he suggests to do." Monday's visit will hopefully provide some clarity as to how much additional time Splitter might miss.
