C Nerlens Noel had a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds off the bench Tuesday in the Mavericks' win over the Lakers.

"Tonight is the most comfortable I've felt since I've been here. I'm taking it day-by-day. I'm taking it all in and trying to be patient, but it's hard to when you want to be successful so bad. They believe in me so I'm just happy to be here."

C Nerlens Noel, slated to make his first start for the Mavericks, was deprived of that opportunity and fined an undisclosed amount after being 10 minutes late for the team plane to Atlanta on Tuesday. He played 16 minutes and had six points.
