Sat Mar 10 201207:21Prince hits game-winner on Friday vs. Hawks
Tayshaun Prince hit the game-winning shot on a runner against the Hawks on Friday, scoring 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds and two assists.
Prince has been way off the fantasy radar and maybe this will get him going. He is averaging just under 12 points and five rebounds per game with little else to speak of.

Fri Feb 17 201223:21Tayshaun Prince double-doubles in win
Tayshaun Prince had 22 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks on 10-of-19 shooting in Friday's win.
This was his first double-double of the season, but he's hit double figures in scoring in 10 of his last 11 games. If you've got injuries or just need a reliable wing man for your fantasy team, Prince is worth a close look in all leagues.

Tue Jan 31 201202:02Prince scores 14 points with eight rebounds
Tayshaun Prince scored 14 points on 7-of-15 shooting with eight rebounds, one steal, and one block in Monday's loss.
He has knocked the rust off following a two-game layoff and owners can use him how they normally were.

Sat Jan 28 201221:53Tayshaun Prince struggles in return
Tayshaun Prince returned from a two-game personal absence and hit just 3-of-9 shots for six points, four rebounds and an assist on Saturday.
Prince went on a five-game tear where he scored between 14 and 20 points, but has cooled off, scoring 9 & 6 in his last two games. We're guessing he'll get it going again, but the two-game layoff left him rusty.

Sat Jan 28 201218:10Tayshaun Prince starting for Pistons
Tayshaun Prince is expected to start on Saturday against the Sixers.
He missed a couple games for personal reasons, but should be back in fantasy lineups with this news.

Fri Jan 27 201218:07Tayshaun Prince ruled out on Friday for DET
Tayshaun Prince (personal) has been ruled out for the Pistons game on Friday against the Hawks.
Austin Daye exploded for a career-high 28 points in place of Prince on Wednesday, so head coach Lawrence Frank may give him extended minutes again with Prince out. Keep an eye on Daye to see if he can keep him momentum going Friday night.

Wed Jan 25 201218:14Tayshaun Prince out due to 'family matter'
Tayshaun Prince is not playing on Wednesday due to a "family matter."
Prince has been hot lately (18.2 points per game in his last six), so this is frustrating news for fantasy owners who started him this week. Damien Wilkins gets a start in place of Prince, who should be back on Friday barring something unexpected.

Tue Jan 24 201201:07Prince scores nine points in loss to Thunder
Tayshaun Prince scored nine points on 3-of-9 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, three assists, and a steal on Monday against the Thunder.
Prince has come back to Earth with an average of 13.3 points over his last three games, which is more or less where we think he will finish as long as he is healthy this season.

Sat Jan 21 201201:06Prince scores 14 points on Friday
Tayshaun Prince scored 14 points on 5-of-13 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, one assist, and one steal in Friday's loss.
While the 20-plus point games were nice, this is probably a perfect representation of where we believe Prince will be production-wise. He'll be a borderline asset in 12-team leagues all season long.

Thu Jan 19 201201:21Tayshaun Prince scores season-high 29 in loss
Tayshaun Prince hit 13-of-23 shots for a season-high 29 points to go along with three rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block and three 3-pointers in Wednesday's loss to the Timberwolves.
Prince is officially hot, scoring 29, 20 and 20 points in his last three games, which are the only three he's topped 20 points in this season. And while we've been cool on picking up Prince, he's worth an add while he's hot. The minutes have been there all season, but he's played between 36 and 41 ticks in his last three games, and is finally producing when on the court.

Wed Jan 18 201200:32Tayshaun Prince scores 20 again for Pistons
Tayshaun Prince had 20 points for the second straight game on Tuesday.
He didn't do much more, outside of a couple steals and three rebounds, and was also playing with a wrap on his sore knee. Prince is always a fantasy option, especially after his last two games, but can disappear at any time. Chances are you can find a more reliable, exciting and younger option on your waiver wire.

Sun Jan 15 201220:52Tayshaun Prince scores season-high 20
Tayshaun Prince scored a season-high 20 points vs. the Warriors on Sunday, making 8-of-15 FGs with two 3-pointers.
Prince chipped in seven rebounds in 40 minutes. He's been quiet all year, averaging 8.9 points and 2.8 rebounds, and it's hard to be optimistic that he'll improve very much on a struggling Pistons squad.

Tue Jan 10 201223:12Tayshaun Prince scores two points in loss
Tayshaun Prince started again on Tuesday, but had just two points on 1-of-5 shooting.
He's scored in single digits in five of his 10 games thus far, and you have to think Lawrence Frank might eventually look to develop Austin Daye (1-of-6 shooting in 18 minutes), who is buried on the bench. If you're holding Prince, dropping him for a hot free agent makes sense. But at this point, Daye doesn't qualify as one of those, but could later in the season.

Sat Jan 7 201223:13Pistons' forwards awful in lopsided defeat
Tayshaun Prince and Jonas Jerebko combined for just eight points on 2-of-12 shooting in Saturday's ugly loss to the visiting Knicks.
Detroit's starters were destroyed and more minutes trickled down to guys like Jason Maxiell (11 points, six rebounds) and Damien Wilkins (seven points, four rebounds, three assists). Prince and Jerebko should bounce back in their next game, but the 2-6 Pistons are quickly running out of time to get back on track.

Mon Dec 26 201121:49Tayshaun Prince quiet in loss to Pacers
Tayshaun Prince hit just 3-of-10 shots for six points, three rebounds and two assists in Monday's loss.
Despite Prince's struggles, Austin Daye didn't make a shot and finished with zero points and seven rebounds in 14 minutes. These two could be splitting time all season and Prince will have to play better than this if he's going to hold off Daye. Then again, Daye needs to play better if he's going to challenge for Prince's job.

Thu Dec 22 201117:30Tayshaun Prince dealing with sore ankle
Tayshaun Prince has been dealing with a sore ankle, but still looks like the starting SF for the Pistons.
As soon as Tay tweaks the ankle Austin Daye could get the nod, and looks like a worthy late draft pick even if coming off the bench.

Fri Dec 16 201121:35Prince, Wallace sit out Friday's p/s game
Tayshaun Prince and Ben Wallace sat out Friday's preseason game for the Pistons.
We're guessing they're fine and will play on Tuesday at Cleveland. Both are veterans and the rest will probably serve them well in this compact season.

Fri Dec 9 201120:29Tayshaun Prince sits with left leg injury
Tayshaun Prince was sidelined in camp Friday sporting a wrap on his left leg.
We're guessing this is nothing/precautionary, especially since Prince agreed to a four-year deal with the Pistons earlier today. Just keep an eye on the situation going forward.

Thu Dec 8 201114:01Tayshaun Prince expected to sign four year, $27 million contract...
Tayshaun Prince is expected to sign a four year, $27 million contract with the Pistons, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Wojo writes that Prince "will" accept the deal, which shelves talk of the Clippers possibly landing him as their new SF. Last year in Detroit he averaged 14.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists, and his production isn't likely to increase while Austin Daye and Jonas Jerebko are both on the roster.

Thu Dec 1 201121:54Rumor: Prince for Kaman a possibility in DET
Multiple reports surfaced that the Clippers have reached out to free agent Tayshaun Prince, and in that scenario Chris Kaman could be sent to the Pistons in a sign-and-trade deal.
There are a ton of these type of reports floating around, so just put it in your Rolodex and move on. Kaman would slide Greg Monroe over to a more natural power forward position, and Prince would push the Clippers into contention in the West.
