Wed Apr 2 201423:08Amare Stoudemire returns from rest
Amare Stoudemire returned from a one-game absence on Wednesday with 13 points, six boards, two assists and two blocks vs. the Nets.
The Knicks got this game into garbage time and it allowed Stoudemire keep his minutes down. He sat out as a precaution on Monday on the second half of a back-to-back set and will likely sit out in the second half of a back-to-back in the season finale on Apr. 16. He should be worth starting in all leagues until then.

Wed Apr 2 201417:22Amare Stoudemire back in starting lineup
Amare Stoudemire will return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's game vs. the Nets.
He rested on Monday night as the second part of a back-to-back set and should be good to go tonight. Stoudemire played very well in March, averaging 16.9 points, 6.6 boards and 0.7 blocks on 56.9 percent from the field. If you have him, he should be in your lineup tonight.

Mon Mar 31 201419:32Amare Stoudemire (recovery) out Monday
Amare Stoudmire (recovery) will not play against the Jazz on Monday night.
The Knicks are on a back-to-back set and Amare will sit down after logging 31 minutes vs. the Warriors on Monday. Surprisingly, this is his first game in street clothes since Mar. 12 and he's turned in a fantastic month, averaging 16.9 points, 6.6 boards and 0.7 blocks. He should be ready for Wednesday vs. the Nets. Iman Shumpert will start in his place.

Sun Mar 30 201423:59Amare Stoudemire posts 15 & 13 in road win
Amare Stoudemire double-doubled with 15 points and 13 rebounds in 31 minutes vs. the Warriors' short-handed frontcourt on Sunday.
STAT's resurgence is a wonderful sub-plot to the Knicks' pursuit of a playoff spot, and he's only missed one game all month while appearing in three different back-to-back sets. He seems determined to finish strong, and the Knicks need his production to overtake the eighth-place Hawks, so fantasy owners can feel reasonably comfortable using him in New York's four-game week.

Sat Mar 29 201405:20Amare plays well in his old arena
Amare Stoudemire played 30 minutes vs. the Suns on Friday during a 112-88 loss with 19 points, six boards and one block.
There were some scattered boos for Amare against this former team, but he continues to play well for the Knicks. Stoudemire didn't have any assists and he looked like he played with a chip on his shoulder tonight perhaps because the Suns let him go back in 2010. STAT is worth owning in standard leagues and looks the healthiest he's ever been in a Knicks uniform.

Thu Mar 27 201401:24Amare Stoudemire scores 12 in B2B
Amare Stoudemire played in back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday and had 12 points, six rebounds and a steal on 6-of-10 shooting in Wednesday's win over the Kings.
The Knicks are pushing the Hawks, who were blown out at Minnesota tonight, for the final playoff spot in the East after tonight's win. The Knicks are just two games back, as the Hawks have now lost four straight games. Stoudemire, who is averaging 16.6 points and 5.6 rebounds over his last five games, looks like a safe start these days as the Knicks make their final push for the playoffs. He's played in three sets of back-to-backs in the month of March.

Wed Mar 26 201420:38Amare Stoudemire is playing tonight vs. SAC
Amare Stoudemire will play against the Kings on Wednesday night.
It's the second game of a back-to-back set and it's another piece of evidence to indicate Stoudemire is healthy. He's worth using in standard leagues while he's going strong and has put together some solid runs this year.

Wed Mar 26 201410:11Amare Stoudemire may play in back-to-back
Mike Woodson hopes that Amare Stoudemire will play in the second of New York's back-to-back games on Wednesday.
Stoudemire scored 16 points in 27 minutes during Tuesday's blowout and he's already played in two back-to-back sets in March, so there's a good chance he'll suit up vs. the Kings. His health is vital to the Knicks' dwindling playoff odds since Kenyon Martin (ankle) and Andrea Bargnani (elbow) remain uncertain to return this season.

Wed Mar 26 201401:16Amare Stoudemire plays well in loss
Amare Stoudemire scored 16 points with two boards and one block in 27 minutes vs. the Lakers on Tuesday.
The Knicks continue to use him at both the center and power forward spots and he hasn't looked bad at all. Stoudemire has played at least 26 minutes in each of his last five, averaging 17.2 points, 5.6 boards, 0.4 blocks and 0.6 turnovers in 28.0 minutes. It's hard to believe, but STAT is putting up numbers worth owning right now.

Sun Mar 23 201422:29Amare Stoudemire solid w/ 12 & 6 vs. Cavs
Amare Stoudemire made 6-of-10 field goals to finish Sunday's loss with 12 points, six rebounds, and zero steals, blocks or turnovers in 30 minutes.
The Hawks' defeat earlier in the day was great news for the Knicks' playoff hopes, but this loss keeps them three games out of the playoff picture. Amare has been very effective over the past few weeks and the only argument against him in fantasy leagues is the looming possibility of DNPs -- the Knicks play on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, and next Sunday's game kicks off another back-to-back set.

Sat Mar 22 201400:05Amare posts 22 & 10; Chandler hits 17 & 10
Amare Stoudemire scored 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting with 10 rebounds and no steals or blocks in Friday's win over the Sixers.
The opponent should be noted but he has been scoring and sometimes rebounding when let loose onto the floor. Games off will likely be a factor the rest of the way, but he's worth starting when owners know he's going to play. Tyson Chandler went for 17 and 10 with a steal and block, and Carmelo Anthony scored 21 points with a full line in the win.

Thu Mar 20 201400:53Amare Stoudemire scores 21 in win
Amare Stoudemire hit 8-of-15 shots for 21 points, four rebounds and zero blocks in Wednesday's win.
He's played in two games since sitting out a week ago, and had 21 & 4 and 15 & 6 in them. His next missed game is likely just around the corner, but if you own Stoudemire and you know he's going to play on a given night, he's probably worth throwing into your lineup.

Sat Mar 15 201415:00Amare Stoudemire scores 15 points in return
Amare Stoudemire returned to action on Saturday with 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting, six rebounds, one assist and one block in 26 minutes.
The Bucks didn't put up much resistance but Stoudemire looked good, as he has in recent weeks, and he's worth owning in most fantasy leagues with the major caveat that he could pick up a DNP at any moment. His most recent DNP wasn't even during a back-to-back set, which is worrisome, but New York doesn't play again until Wednesday and STAT should be ready to go on three days' rest.

Fri Mar 14 201413:09Amare Stoudemire will return Saturday
Amare Stoudemire (rest) will play in Saturday's game against the Bucks.
Stoudemire took Wednesday off to rest his balky knees. He should be fresh for a dream matchup with a weak Bucks front line on Saturday. Over his last six games, Stoudemire is averaging 17.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks a night while shooting 64.2 percent from the field.

Wed Mar 12 201410:33Amare Stoudemire out Wednesday for rest
Amare Stoudemire will have a precautionary day off against the Celtics on Wednesday.
Amare has been playing well lately but fantasy owners shouldn't be the least bit surprised by this DNP, given the fragile health of his knees. With Tyson Chandler (personal) also unavailable vs. Boston, it will be all hands on deck for the Knicks' weakened frontcourt.

Tue Mar 11 201400:32Amare scores 23 points against Sixers
Amare Stoudemire scored 23 points on 9-of-10 shooting with six rebounds and one block in the Knicks' 123-110 win over the Sixers on Monday.
Stoudemire lacked burst throughout the game and several New York media types wondered if the recent minutes had caught up to him, but this was the Sixers so it was his time to shine. Carmelo Anthony added 22 points, nine boards and five assists, 'Everybody Loves' Raymond Felton had 13 points, three treys, two steals and a block, and J.R. Smith scored 22 points with four treys in the win. Evaluate any of these guys against this D-League squad at your own risk.

Fri Mar 7 201423:58Stoudemire quiet in blowout win
Amare Stoudemire scored 10 poins with just one rebound and one block over 19 minutes in Friday's blowout win over the Jazz.
Even though the game was a laugher this shows the downside in using Stoudemire. Unless you have supreme control over when you're deploying him, he has no real fantasy value outside of very big formats.

Thu Mar 6 201400:26Amare Stoudemire scores 18 points in 31 mins.
Amare Stoudemire played 31 minutes against the Wolves on Wednesday, scoring 18 points with eight boards, one assist, one steal and two blocks.
It was one of his best games in quite some time and he's played over 30 minutes in consecutive games for the first time all season. After the game, coach Mike Woodson said he likes STAT in the starting lineup, but he's a little worried about managing his minutes. Stoudemire is going to need his days off, but it's not a bad idea to pick him up for owners with some dead weight.

Mon Mar 3 201422:41Stoudemire scores 22 points with six boards
Amare Stoudemire scored 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting with six rebounds and no other stats in 32 minutes on Monday against the Pistons.
Stoudemire is averaging 9.5 points, 3.7 boards and 0.6 combined steals and blocks over his last six games. That's not paying the bills for owners in most leagues.

Mon Mar 3 201418:24Amare Stoudemire and J.R. Smith starting
Amare Stoudemire and J.R. Smith will be in the starting lineup against the Pistons.
The Knicks are going to need some size against the Pistons tonight and coach Mike Woodson opted to go with J.R. Smith over Pablo Prigioni. The move into the starting lineup isn't a huge deal for the fantasy values of either player.
