Fri Mar 4 201123:20Parker posts nice line in win over Knicks
Anthony Parker scored 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including three treys) with four rebounds, seven assists, and one steal in 32 minutes on Friday.
This follows an off-night on Wednesday, and while there's a chance that the Cavs could go young, Parker deserves ownership in most formats until it's clear he's going to stop producing. As it stands, he is providing decent low-end results.

Wed Mar 2 201122:33Anthony Parker struggles, along with Cavs
Anthony Parker hit just 1-of-7 shots for three points, five rebounds and two assists in Wednesday's loss.
Daniel Gibson has been shut down yet again with a calf injury, while Parker has been playing better than this. Our guess is he bounces back, but it's also possible that Byron Scott could use Ramon Sessions more at shooting guard when Baron Davis returns, possibly this weekend.

Sat Feb 26 201102:38Parker holds his value in Cleveland, for now
Anthony Parker started at SG again on Friday and left the floor with an unspecified injury, but quickly returned and finished with 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting with five rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block in 37 minutes.
While he could lose some minutes if Baron Davis and Daniel Gibson can get and stay healthy, he should be owned for the chance that Parker holds his low-end fantasy value, regardless.
Thu Feb 24 201116:15Anthony Parker survives flurry of offers
There were a flurry of offers regarding Anthony Parker but he remains in Cleveland after the trade deadline.
With Mo Williams out and the team unlikely to buy out Parker's contract, he and Ramon Sessions stand to gain. If for some reason he's still available don't hesitate to nab him.

Wed Feb 23 201123:14Anthony Parker plays well in another start
Anthony Parker hit 7-of-10 shots and four 3-pointers for 19 points, five rebounds and five assists in Wednesday's loss.
He's still a trade candidate, but with Mo Williams (ankle) and Daniel Gibson (personal) out, looked great tonight. He's starting at shooting guard and scored 18 points last Wednesday before the All-Star break, and is worth keeping a close eye on going forward. And if you want to pick him up, go for it.
Fri Feb 18 201112:51Celtics also pursuing Cavs' Anthony Parker
The Celtics have joined the Bulls in pursuing Cavs' swingman Anthony Parker.
Parker is a solid veteran who is capable defensively and can stretch the floor on offense -- Boston is particularly interested given Marquis Daniels' spinal injury and Delonte West's ongoing injury problems. The Cavs are asking for "a quality draft pick or a young big man with promise."

Wed Feb 16 201123:29Anthony Parker has big game in big win
Anthony Parker hit 7-of-13 shots and two 3-pointers on his way to 18 points and nine assists in Wednesday's exciting win over the Lakers.
Parker and Sessions carried the Cavs to a huge win tonight, which should result in more opportunities for both of them. But let's give Byron Scott the All-Star break to figure out his plan going forward before calling Parker a must-add player.
Tue Feb 8 201101:46Parker still mediocre in fantasy leagues
Anthony Parker took an ill-advised 3-pointer to seal the Cavs' loss to the Mavs on Monday, and finished with just seven points on 3-of-10 shooting with three rebounds, two assists, four steals, and one block in 32 minutes.
Not only did he take a bad three to end the game, but after his late steal he failed to push the tempo when he could have had numbers, and the Cavs set the NBA record for consecutive losses (25) over two seasons. Whether his back has anything to do with the numbers or not, he hasn't been producing enough to be owned in most formats right now.
Sat Feb 5 201123:56Anthony Parker quiet as a starter on Saturday
Anthony Parker was quiet in his move into the starting shooting guard slot on Saturday, scoring nine points on 4-of-7 shooting (including a three) with one rebound, two assists, and no steals or blocks in 26 minutes.
He scored 18 points with five assists and four treys on Friday, so this is certainly a step back, but we don't necessarily see a change in value here. As long as the Cavs don't decide Manny Harris deserves 40 minutes per game in a 'go-young' scenario, which would be unlikely now, Parker should be able to carve out a 25-30 mpg role. Somewhere between the two results is what owners should expect.
Sat Feb 5 201118:53Anthony Parker to start at SG for Cavs
Veteran swingman Anthony Parker will start at SG for the Cavaliers on Friday, replacing rookie Manny Harris.
Harris has a sore knee that has been limiting him recently, though he will still play off the bench. Even though the game tips off very soon, Daniel Gibson's status remains uncertain.

Sat Feb 5 201101:30Anthony Parker scores 18 off bench
Anthony Parker came off the bench for the Cavs again on Friday but had 18 points, five assists and four 3-pointers in another loss.
He should be starting soon and scored 17 with a couple threes in his previous game. If you own Manny Harris and can drop him for Parker, it makes sense.
Thu Feb 3 201111:29Cavaliers plan on starting Parker over Harris
Cavs coach Byron Scott said he eventually wants to start Anthony Parker at shooting guard over Manny Harris.
Parker's sore back has him on a 20-minutes limit right now. Once that cap is lifted, the veteran will start and is a good bet to play around 26-28 minutes. Harris is a fine deep league play for now, but be ready to cut bait shortly.

Thu Feb 3 201100:00Anthony Parker scores 17 off Cavs bench
Anthony Parker came off the bench for 17 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 7-of-11 shooting.
He's expected to move back into the starting five very soon, although Manny Harris got the nod tonight. We're expecting the starting lineup to be Mo Williams/Ramon Sessions, Parker, Christian Eyenga, Antawn Jamison and J.J. Hickson once everyone is healthy. Parker is worth a look, but with Sessions, Daniel Gibson and Manny Harris all fighting him for minutes and shots, it's going to be tough for any of them to be too reliable going forward.
Tue Feb 1 201111:43Anthony Parker returning to starting five?
Coach Byron Scott said that Anthony Parker could return to the starting lineup as soon as Wednesday.
Parker would start at shooting guard, moving Manny Harris/Daniel Gibson to the bench and leaving Christian Eyenga as the starting small forward. Still, Parker would be a poor bet to play more than 25-27 minutes a night and would be off the fantasy radar. It's simply bad news for any upside Harris and Gibson have.

Fri Jan 28 201114:52Anthony Parker on limited minutes
Cavaliers swingman Anthony Parker (back), who played 14 minutes vs. Boston, is on a minutes' restriction.
Parker had missed seven of the previous eight games with a strained lower back, and limited minutes are better than none. "It's feeling better," he said. "We want to stay around the 14-minute mark." That's all fantasy owners need to hear -- avoid him.

Anthony Parker returned to action on Tuesday January 25.
Tue Jan 25 201123:27Parker (back) returns to action on Tuesday
Anthony Parker (back) returned to action on Tuesday, scoring three points on 1-of-5 shooting (including a three) with no rebounds and two assists in 14 minutes off the bench.
He's somebody to watch as he continues to get healthy. The Cavs are fielding a D-League roster every night and Parker is a legitimate NBA player. He should be able to find starter's minutes and be a source of low-end fantasy production.
Tue Jan 25 201119:55Parker (back) active for Cavs on Tuesday
Anthony Parker (back) was activated for Tuesday's game against the Celtics, but it is unclear whether or not he will see any time on the court.
He was not in the starting lineup and will need a few games to get his feet back underneath him. When healthy, he has the ability to become a low-end fantasy producer with the Cavs down to using guys who belong in the D-League every night.
Tue Jan 25 201111:42Parker questionable for Tuesday
Anthony Parker (back) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Celtics.
Parker has played just once in the last 10 games. There's room for production thanks to all the Cavs' injuries, but we doubt Parker is capable of it. In 34 starts earlier this year, Parker shot just 38.3 percent from the floor en route to 9.1 points per game.

Tue Jan 25 201100:26Parker (back) does not play on Monday
Anthony Parker (back) did not play on Monday against the Nets.
There is still no timetable for his return, though when he does he won't have too hard a time finding minutes as long as he is healthy. He could end up being a low-end source of fantasy value so owners should keep an eye on his progress.
