Sat Jan 22 201114:18Anthony Parker (back) out on Saturday
Anthony Parker will not play on Saturday as he is remaining in Cleveland to receive treatment on his ailing back.
Parker just returned on Friday and appears to have aggravated the injury. He is a solid veteran and has been mentioned as a possible trade target, but isn't likely to have much fantasy value no matter which jersey he's wearing.

Sat Jan 22 201109:54Cavs might look to trade Anthony Parker?
Cavaliers veteran Anthony Parker is the player "most likely to be moved" by Cleveland, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.
Parker has a reasonable, expiring contract and can still provide solid shooting and defense at multiple positions. Don't be surprised to see the woeful Cavs make a few moves in the next month, especially in light of their massive trade exception.

Sat Jan 22 201100:06Anthony Parker back in action for Cavs
Anthony Parker returned from a back injury Friday and had two points in 14 minutes.
It looks like he's lost his starting job to Daniel Gibson, but didn't have much value even when he was starting.
Fri Jan 21 201118:52Anthony Parker to return on Friday
Anthony Parker (back) hopes to return to action vs. the Bucks.
On the same night, the Cavs are getting back Parker, Christian Eyenga, and Carlos Delfino. The wings are too crowded to trust any of these guys while Manny Harris continues to start and Daniel Gibson is healthy off the bench.

Tue Jan 18 201120:32Parker, Graham practice, doubtful for Wed
Anthony Parker (back) and Joey Graham (quad) both practiced on Tuesday, but both are considered doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Suns.
The last report on Parker had him out for about a week and Graham has reportedly just started running, so they aren't necessarily close to a return this week. Daniel Gibson and Manny Harris will play plenty of minutes against the Suns as it stands right now.

Mon Jan 17 201113:59Anthony Parker (back) still a week away
Anthony Parker is still at least a week away from returning from a back injury.
The Cavs are so banged up that Byron Scott had to practice with the team on Monday. Daniel Gibson and Manny Harris will eat up the shooting guard minutes with Parker sidelined.

Thu Jan 13 201116:44Anthony Parker has been sent home
Anthony Parker (back) has gone back to Cleveland, ruling him out of the final two games of the Cavs' road trip.
Parker has missed the last four games, hinting at more than mere back soreness. There's plenty of room for minutes if he can get back to 100 percent, but we'd move on in the meantime. Parker was averaging just 9.1 points a night in 34 starts this season anyway.

Sun Jan 9 201123:56Anthony Parker (back) remains day-to-day
Cavaliers swingman Anthony Parker (back) sat out another game on Sunday.
It's hard to say where Parker will fit into the Cavs rotation as their lost season grinds forward -- he's a savvy veteran on a team that is geared toward the youth movement. Even healthy and starting, he's a marginal fantasy option.
Sun Jan 9 201112:36Parker questionable Sunday
Anthony Parker (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Suns.
The Cavs are really banged up right now with Anderson Varejao and Daniel Gibson already ruled out. It's leading to speculation of a lineup change, but coach Byron Scott won't announce it until tonight. Regardless, Ramon Sessions and J.J. Hickson are much more viable fringe plays with all the injuries.

Fri Jan 7 201113:22Anthony Parker ruled out on Friday
Anthony Parker will not play on Friday due to a strained back.
The Cavaliers are dead in the water entering tonight's game with the Warriors, though sometimes short-handed squads do put up a fierce fight. By default, Cleveland will turn to guys like Alonzo Gee, Christian Eyenga, Manny Harris, and Ramon Sessions.

Fri Jan 7 201109:50Anthony Parker (back) iffy vs. Warriors
Anthony Parker (back strain) traveled with the Cavaliers but is questionable for Friday's game vs. Golden State.
Cleveland is running on fumes and can certainly use whatever the veteran wingman can give them, but he's not reliable enough to gamble on in fantasy leagues. Alonzo Gee will likely get another start if AP isn't ready.

Wed Jan 5 201118:00Cavs' Parker looks unlikely for Wednesday
Anthony Parker (back) appears unlikely to play on Wednesday.
No word yet on who might start in his place, but look for Daniel Gibson and Alonzo Gee to absorb some additional minutes.

Sun Dec 26 201020:35Anthony Parker scores season-high 21 points
Veteran swingman Anthony Parker scored a season-high 21 points as the Cavaliers defeated the Timberwolves on Sunday. He made 9-of-18 FGs (3-of-9 from downtown) with seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and three turnovers.
The move to SG suited Parker well tonight, as he filled in for usual starter Daniel Gibson (personal). Parker is a decent low-level fantasy option and this will be one of the better games he plays all season.
Wed Dec 22 201021:23Anthony Parker quiet in loss to Hawks
Anthony Parker had eight points, six rebounds and three assists in a loss to the Hawks.
He hit just 3-of-10 shots in 27 minutes but has been playing pretty well lately. He's worth a look in most leagues and will shoot it better than he did tonight.
Tue Dec 21 201002:42Parker scores 11 points on Monday
Anthony Parker scored 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting (1-of-5 from downtown) with three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 38 minutes on Monday.
He was averaging 14.3 points and shooting 47.4 percent from beyond the arc in the four games entering tonight, but may be ready to cool off after his little hot spurt.
Sun Dec 19 201000:40Parker scores 17 points with six boards
Anthony Parker had another strong game on Saturday, scoring 17 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including two threes) with six rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 37 minutes.
Byron Scott has shortened his rotation and Parker has been a beneficiary of that change, and has scored in double-figures in 6-of-8 games, and identical 17-point, six-rebound games in his last two. He's worth a look if you need points and threes with a little bit of everything else.
Fri Dec 17 201022:29Anthony Parker scores 17 in loss to Pacers
Anthony Parker had 17 points, six boards and four threes in Friday's loss to the Pacers.
He's scored in double figures in three straight to go along with seven 3-pointers, making him worth a look if he's going to keep it going.
Thu Oct 21 201023:00Parker picks up the slack for Cavs on Thu
With Mo Williams (personal) and Daniel Gibson (neck) out on Thursday, Anthony Parker picked up the slack with 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 38 minutes.
Regardless of who is out there we're seeing good production out of the guard slots in Cleveland. Parker was seen shaking his previously injured fingers, and we would still likely take him after Daniel Gibson and Ramon Sessions if drafting today, but it's close.
Thu Oct 21 201013:13Parker says fingers still hurting
Anthony Parker says the fingers on his right (shooting) hand are still bothering him.
The soreness won't keep Parker from playing, but it could mean some extra minutes for Daniel Gibson and Ramon Sessions. Parker will start tonight's preseason finale against the Bucks.

Tue Oct 19 201021:40Anthony Parker plays well in Cavs win
Anthony Parker, the starting SG for Cleveland, returned from a finger injury and had 10 points, five assists and a 3-pointer on 4-of-7 shooting Tuesday.
He's worth a look, but Daniel Gibson off the bench looks like he might be a better pick in fantasy this year.
