Wed Nov 13 201309:05Justin Forsett doens't play a snap
Justin Forsett didn't play a single snap in the Week 10 win over the Titans.
Denard Robinson is the No. 2 back and Jordan Todman is the kickoff returner/third-down option. It's left Forsett without a role. "It's tough man, to be honest," he said.

Sun Oct 27 201316:45Forsett catches 3 passes for 6 yards in loss
Justin Forsett caught three passes for six yards in the Jaguars' Week 8 loss to the 49ers.
No. 2 runner Forsett did not receive a rushing attempt, while Denard Robinson handled four, gaining 15 yards. Forsett is a situational passing-down back behind Maurice Jones-Drew. He's a weak handcuff in standard leagues.

Sun Oct 13 201319:28Justin Forsett held to 18 total yards
Jaguars RB Justin Forsett rushed once for no yards and caught three passes for 18 yards in Sunday's Week 6 loss to Denver.
Forsett appears to have overtaken Jordan Todman as Jacksonville's No. 2 back, as Todman finished the game without a touch. Forsett played ahead of Maurice Jones-Drew in garbage time. He's on the deep-league handcuff radar.

Sun Sep 15 201320:21Justin Forsett has just one touch in loss
Justin Forsett was held without a carry in the Jaguars' Week 2 loss to the Raiders, catching just one pass for seven yards.
That's despite the fact that Maurice Jones-Drew departed midway through the second quarter with an ankle injury. Jordan Todman "carried the load" in MJD's absence, rushing five times for seven yards. Forsett had been projected as MJD's backup, but missed the majority of the summer with a toe injury. It's quite possible that's why his workload was so limited on Sunday. MJD is very questionable for next Sunday's game in Seattle, but Forsett wouldn't be worth a start even if he were restored to No. 2 on the depth chart.

Wed Sep 4 201313:07Forsett (toe) says he's not 100 percent
Justin Forsett (toe) says he's not 100 percent, but will "be available" Sunday.
Forsett has battled turf toe all summer. He returned to practice Monday and plans to practice the rest of the week. Although Forsett will "be available," it's fair to wonder if Maurice Jones-Drew, Jordan Todman, and Denard Robinson will handle backfield duties against the Chiefs in the opener.

Mon Sep 2 201311:27Justin Forsett back at practice Monday
Justin Forsett (toe) returned to practice Monday.
Forsett missed the entire preseason, allowing Jordan Todman to raise eyebrows with a 29/223/2 line in four exhibition games. We suspect those two would share the load if Maurice Jones-Drew were to miss time. Consider Forsett questionable for Sunday's opener against the Chiefs.

Mon Aug 26 201310:15Justin Forsett still out with toe injury
Jaguars RB Justin Forsett has missed the entire preseason with a toe injury.
Because Forsett was penciled in as Maurice Jones-Drew's top backup entering camp, it's now become tough to pinpoint the depth chart. Jordan Todman has been outstanding in preseason games (8.15 YPC), and rookie Denard Robinson is a lock for the final 53. It's unclear if Forsett's roster spot is sewn up.

Wed Aug 7 201310:05Justin Forsett missing time with toe injury
Jaguars RB Justin Forsett has missed the past week with a sprained toe.
Forsett sprained his right big toe on the first contact play of camp last Thursday, and he's been in a walking boot since. He's the clear-cut favorite for No. 2 duties behind Maurice Jones-Drew, but youngsters Denard Robinson, Jordan Todman, Jonathan Grimes, and De'Leon Eskridge have been getting valuable reps.

Fri Mar 15 201316:28Jaguars sign RB Justin Forsett
Jaguars signed RB Justin Forsett, formerly of the Texans.
27-year-old Forsett will fit in nicely as a change-of-pace back in the Jaguars' new zone-blocking scheme. Forsett has played in zone schemes dating back to his college days at Cal. In 2012 with Houston, Forsett rushed 63 times for 374 yards and a touchdown. He's caught 100 passes over the past four seasons and holds a robust career yards-per-carry average of 4.87.

Wed Mar 13 201317:01Justin Forsett to visit the Jaguars
Free agent RB Justin Forsett will visit the Jaguars.
This one's easy to connect the dots with. The Jaguars don't have a capable backup to Maurice Jones-Drew, and Forsett was in Seattle with coach Gus Bradley and OC Jedd Fisch when he had his best years. He's unlikely to return to the Texans.

Sun Dec 30 201217:15Forsett doesn't see field in season finale
Justin Forsett didn't receive a carry in Sunday's loss to the Colts.
Forsett was surprisingly effective during his stint as Arian Foster's backup, but wasn't used at all Sunday and has just four rushing attempts since Week 14. He finishes the regular season with 374 yards and one touchdown on 63 carries. It would take an injury to Ben Tate for Forsett to have an impact in the playoffs.

Sun Dec 2 201218:06Forsett and Foster each get 14 carries in win
Justin Forsett rushed 14 times for 64 yards in Week 13 against the Titans.
Forsett and Arian Foster both toted the rock 14 times on Sunday afternoon, but we wouldn't read too much into it. It was likely just a day to get Foster some rest, and head coach Gary Kubiak said Forsett deserved a few more opportunities. He continued to work as the No. 2 back even with Ben Tate back in the mix. Tate rushed just three times for 18 yards.

Thu Nov 22 201216:46Justin Forsett gets benefit of awful call
Justin Forsett rushed five times for 87 yards with a touchdown in the Texans' Week 12 overtime win over the Lions.
Forsett's stats are inflated by one of the worst calls of the entire NFL season. Midway through the third quarter, he took a routine carry up the middle for seven yards and was knocked to one knee. But he quickly bounced back up and scampered a total of 81 yards for the touchdown as the refs didn't blow the play dead. Since Lions coach Jim Schwartz threw a challenge flag on a scoring play, NFL rules state that the play then has to stand as called on the field. It's a ridiculous rule that figures to be changed as soon as this week. Regardless, Forsett isn't worth a roster spot in fantasy leagues. Ben Tate (hamstring) is due back in Week 13.

Mon Nov 12 201200:38Forsett steps in for Tate with 27 yards
Justin Forsett rushed for 27 yards on four carries in Week 10 against the Bears.
Forsett filled in for Ben Tate (hamstring) as Arian Foster's back-up once again. He's rushed for 154 yards on 33 carries in spot work this season, but we'd stick with Tate as Foster's handcuff.

Wed Oct 10 201219:53Justin Forsett (thigh) practicing in full
Texans RB Justin Forsett is listed on the Week 6 injury report with a thigh issue, but practiced in full on Wednesday.
Forsett is in no danger of missing Week 6, but Ben Tate (toe) is. Tate was limited on Wednesday, but it's possible Forsett will be called on to back-up Arian Foster for the second straight week. Even if that's the case, however, he won't be a deep-league flex option against the Packers.

Tue Oct 9 201200:53Forsett steps in for Tate with six yards
Justin Forsett rushed four times for six yards in place of the injured Ben Tate (toe) in Week 5.
Forsett was a non-factor. Arian Foster carried the mail for much of the night, racking up 152 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The risk that some owners may have taken by picking up Forsett clearly didn't pay off. Tate will likely be back for Week 6 against the Packers.

Mon Oct 8 201214:34Justin Forsett to be Texans No. 2 RB on MNF
Justin Forsett will move up one spot on the Texans' running back depth chart with Ben Tate (toe) expected to miss Monday Night Football.
In an expected blowout win for the Texans, Forsett is worth a look as a plug-and-play waiver wire pickup for desperate Tate fantasy owners. Forsett averaged 6.38 yards on 29 preseason carries, and rushed six times for 35 yards off the bench in Houston's Week 2 win over the Jaguars. He should have fresh legs on Monday night. Arian Foster will be a workhorse, but Forsett could wrap up late-game, garbage-time carries if the contest gets out of hand.

Thu Aug 16 201212:40Justin Forsett locked into No. 3 RB job
Justin Forsett has the No. 3 running back job virtually locked up.
Forsett has impressed throughout camp, predictably running circles around undrafted rookies Davin Meggett and Jonathan Grimes. He'll contribute on special teams and caddy for Arian Foster/Ben Tate.

Mon Jul 30 201223:05RB Forsett stands out for Texans on Monday
Texans RB Justin Forsett stood out in Monday's practice.
Forsett was explosive and showed excellent vision as runner, while also impressing as a receiver out of the backfield, according to Texans.com. Coach Gary Kubiak used the word "impressive" three times when summarizing Forsett's day. The ex-Seahawk is the favorite for No. 3 RB duties behind Arian Foster and Ben Tate.
