Livingston returned to the lineup Friday after being rested for a game. He had five points, two rebounds, four assists and a steal in 21 minutes in a win over the Grizzlies.

Since a brief spasm of production at the beginning of the month, when he hit for double-digit points in five of seven games, Livingston's numbers have been more subdued in the last seven games played. With Golden State having clinched the division and a spot in the postseason, Livingston and other key members of the rotation will get random days off between now and the end of the regular season.

Livingston will be rested for Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers, Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group reports.

With the Western Conference's top seed essentially locked up, the Warriors will be resting some players in the coming weeks. Livingston's absence will leave more minutes for some combination of Leandro Barbosa, Justin Holiday and Brandon Rush. Livingston should be back for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.

Livingston posted a solid line in his start Friday against the Nuggets, contributing 12 points, four rebounds, and eight assists in 36 minutes of action.

Although he had a solid performance, Livingston doesn't hold much value in season-long leagues because he isn't getting enough playing time to contribute. Stephen Curry (rest) and Klay Thompson (rest) took a short breather Friday, and they'll return to court soon, rendering Barbosa unworthy of a roster spot in fantasy.

Livingston will get the start at point guard Friday, the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons reports.

Stephen Curry, along with Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala and Andrew Bogut, will be given the night off Friday, making Livingston a strong play in daily leagues. Look for Curry to return to the starting lineup Saturday.

Livingston recorded a season-high of 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-5 FT) during Sunday's win over the Clippers, to go along with eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in 28 minutes off the bench.

Livingston has been playing surprisingly well of late, as this marked his fourth straight game in double figures, after reaching that mark just eight other times during the season. Over those last four games, he's averaging 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and one steal in 27.0 minutes per game. He's been getting extended time on the court lately, as the Warriors are now using a smaller lineup for a longer period of time. If they continue with that arrangement, Livingston's numbers could remain close to what he's averaged over his last four games, although don't expect him to shoot 60 percent consistently from the field like he has over that stretch.

Livingston recorded his first double-double in a win over the Mavericks on Friday, scoring 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-2 FT) and grabbing 10 rebounds in addition to blocking three shots in 28 minutes.

Livingston has now scored double-digit points in three straight games, but his rebounding numbers are never nearly this good. This season, he averages just 2.1 rebounds per game and 3.0 assists.

Livingston played 27 minutes and scored 16 points (7-of-10 FG) with six assists in Wednesday night's win over the Bucks. He's averaging 24 minutes over the last four games, seven more minutes than his season average.

The Warriors have been going to a smaller lineup for greater portions of games as of late and that arrangement features Livingston on the floor with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Livingston is making it work for him; he's averaged 11.3 points and 5.0 assists during the four-game run.

Livingston failed to score (0-4 FG, 0-2 FT) against the Cavaliers on Thursday but still contributed with five rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 14 minutes off the bench.

Livingston enjoyed a brief stint in the starting lineup with Stephen Curry (foot) sidelined but the backup has returned to the bench and his time on the court is now limited as a result. The 29-year-old is averaging 17.2 minutes on the hardwood this season and he'll likely continue to see that amount of run moving forward.

Livingston started in place of the injured Stephen Curry (foot) and scored eight points with five rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Pacers.

Curry's absence is being termed day-to-day at this point, so we're unsure how much need there is for Livingston to fill in. One thing we are sure of is that we expect more than two assists out of a starting point guard.

Livingston will start in Sunday's game against the Pacers, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Livingston is starting in place of Stephen Curry (ankle) on Sunday and is in line to see significant time on the court. Looking ahead, Curry is considered day-to-day so Livingston's increased value may not extend beyond Sunday.

Livingston scored 12 points to go with one rebound, three assists, and three steals in 23 minutes of action Monday against the Nuggets.

Livingston made the most of extended minutes due to the blowout, and was able to post a respectable line as a result. He's not likely to produce these numbers on a regular basis, which means he can be left in the wire in most formats.

Livingston scored six points (3-3 FG), grabbed two rebounds, and distributed four assists in 21 minutes off the bench Friday against the Thunder.

After back-to-back DNPs, Livingston returned to action with Andre Iguodala (rest) on the sidelines. Before the DNPs, Livingston was typically seeing workloads in the mid-teens. Though, technically speaking, Livingston did exceed his season averages in points, rebounds, and assists, he only did so by 0.4, 0.1, and 1.1, respectively. Even with additional court time, it is hard to justify using Livingston in almost any format.

Livingston is expected to see significant minutes with Andre Iguodala (rest) on the sidelines against the Thunder on Friday, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Livingston hasn't played in the past two games at the hand of coach Steve Kerr so Livingston should be plenty rested to take on a full workload Friday. Although, it's probably best to curb your expectations for Livingston since his season-high for points is 15, and he's never spent more than 28 minutes on the court under any situation this year.

Livingston did not play for a second consecutive game in Wednesday night's win over Miami. He was also a DNP in Tuesday night's win over Utah.

Other than resting Livingston for an upcoming stretch of four games in five nights, no reason has been given for having Leandro Barbosa ahead of Livingston in the rotation. We thought it might be a one-night thing, but apparently head coach Steve Kerr is giving him an extended break. We'll continue to monitor this situation when Golden State is next in action Friday night at Oklahoma City.

Livingston was given the night off Tuesday night against Utah.

The Warriors just opened a stretch of four games in four cities over five nights, so it was decided that Livingston should get a break Tuesday. Leandro Barbosa got more playing time as a result.

The Warriors were without Andrew Bogut (knee) and David Lee (hamstring), which led to many stretches with a smaller lineup. The use of those smaller lineups resulted in more run than usual for Livingston.

His court time isn't consistent enough for Livingston to have value in a lot of leagues, but on nights when he gets some run he's still capable of putting up very useful numbers.

Livingston played a season-high 27 minutes in Wednesday night's win over the Magic. He scored 15 points, also a season high, with three rebounds, five assists and a steal in the win.

The Warriors had a big lead early and coasted to the win Wednesday, affording lots of playing time for the reserve unit. Livingston averages 15.6 minutes per game, so Wednesday night's playing time should be viewed as an anomaly.

Livingston played 13 minutes and scored four points with two rebounds and two assists in Thursday night's win over Brooklyn.

Livingston, who had offseason toe surgery, has slowly ramped up his playing time but is not getting nearly enough run to be of much fantasy use. On a good night, usually in a blowout, he's getting 18-to-20 minutes. On a normal night, he's in the 13-to-16 minute range. There's only so much playing time available to him with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson ahead of him. Additionally, head coach Steve Kerr needs to figure out the second unit where Andre Iguodala needs minutes and a role.

Livingston played a season-high 19 minutes in Wednesday night's win over the Clippers. With the increased playing time comes production, as Livingston had six points and six assists.

Livingston is ramping up after offseason toe surgery. Now that he's capable of handling a bigger playing-time load, we'll get a better read on how head coach Steve Kerr plans to use Livingston. Wednesday's blowout win distorted the rotation a bit, so we'd like to see how Livingston's deployed in a close game.
