Thu Mar 15 201223:52Harrington leaves game late with leg injury
Al Harrington left Thursday's game late in the fourth quarter with a left leg injury and did not return, finishing with five points on 1-of-8 shooting with eight rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
Harrington did not return to the bench once he left. The shooting line makes one wonder if it was a lingering issue, but either way there has been no update since the end of the game and we'll update you as soon as we learn more. Wilson Chandler, Arron Afflalo, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried, and JaVale McGee would have a chance to absorb missed time by Harrington.

Wed Mar 14 201203:05Harrington scores 19 points with eight boards
Al Harrington scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting (no threes) with eight rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's overtime win.
Harrington benefited from a few extra minutes available due to overtime, but if he can keep this level of production he will have survived the recent roster crowding. The jury is still out on that, but the most important issue he'll face is whether or not Wilson Chandler will be signed.

Sat Mar 10 201203:39Harrington posts 20 & 10; Afflalo scores 28
Al Harrington scored 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting (including a three) with 10 rebounds and two steals in Friday's win over the Hornets.
Both Harrington and Arron Afflalo (28 points) are sell-high candidates with Danilo Gallinari (24 minutes, nine points, 3-of-10 FGs) and Nene (20 minutes, 12 points, full line) getting their sea legs underneath them. Returns of Timofey Mozgov, Rudy Fernandez, and perhaps Wilson Chandler are also threats.

Mon Mar 5 201200:41Al Harrington scores 16 in win over Spurs
Al Harrington had 16 points, six rebounds, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers in Sunday's win.
He's a sell-high candidate, but keep in mind that Timofey Mozgov went down on his bum ankle tonight, and could miss time. Despite the fact Danilo Gallinari and Nene are due back soon for the Nuggets, the absence of Mozgov would work in Harrington's favor, so think twice if you were planning on dropping him.

Tue Feb 21 201203:23Al Harrington scores season-high 31 points
Al Harrington scored a season-high 31 points on 14-of-29 shooting (including three treys) with nine rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 40 minutes off the bench on Monday.
For starters, things are going to get crowded when Wilson Chandler arrives and Rudy Fernandez (back), and then even more crowded when Danilo Gallinaro (ankle) returns down the road. And if Ty Lawson (ankle) misses time, there is a huge sell-high window opening for owners.

Fri Feb 17 201223:36Al Harrington awful in start for Nuggets
Al Harrington started at power forward on Friday, pushing Kenneth Faried to the bench, but missed all three of his shots for four points and three rebounds in 25 minutes.
Harrington has been a rock off the bench all season, but obviously wasn't ready to start tonight. Expect him to return to his bench role soon, especially since Faried went off for 18 points, 10 rebounds, a steal and two blocks off the bench tonight.

Fri Feb 17 201213:43Al Harrington to start for Denver on Friday
Al Harrington will move into the starting lineup on Friday for the Nuggets against the Grizzlies.
Kenneth Faried will probably be the Nugget to move back to the bench, but Harrington has been a strong play all year, so he should be owned in all leagues already. As for Faried, this kills any minimal value he may have had with a starting role, he is safe to cut.

Thu Feb 16 201203:41Harrington scores 13 points off the bench
Al Harrington scored 13 points off the bench on Wednesday, hitting 4-of-12 shots from the field (including two threes) with five rebounds, two assists, and one block in 25 minutes.
There was nothing newsworthy about this line, but we thought we should remind Harrington's owners to consider the future with Wilson Chandler back in the fold. There won't be nearly as many minutes and touches to go around, making it a priority for owners to sell high while Chandler's return is somewhat nebulous.

Tue Feb 7 201204:11Harrington scores 12 points with 15 boards
Al Harrington scored 12 points on 5-of-16 shooting (no threes) with 15 rebounds and a steal in 33 minutes off the bench on Monday.
The Nuggets get a pass for playing without half of their starters for most of the night, which is reflected in some of the shooting lines we saw. Ty Lawson hit just 5-of-14 shots from the field for 13 points with seven assists, Rudy Fernandez hit just 5-of-13 shots for 14 points, while Andre Miller was steady with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, three assists, and a steal in the loss. All of them will absorb Danilo Gallinari's (ankle/foot) minutes and touches.

Sat Feb 4 201204:25Harrington scores 24 points with eight boards
Al Harrington scored 24 points on 8-of-16 shooting (including three treys) with eight rebounds and a steal in the Nuggets' loss to the Lakers on Friday.
Harrington missed a last-second three to win the game and that's about the only complaint we have about him tonight. He has finally found a home in George Karl's system and his early mid-round value in 8- and 9-cat formats is eerily safe, though injuries are a bit of a concern.

Tue Jan 31 201223:49Harrington scores 21 after break in OT loss
Al Harrington backed up a two-point first half to score 21 after the break as the Nuggets lost in overtime to the Grizzlies on Tuesday.
Harrington finished with 23 points to lead the Nuggets, hitting three 3-pointers on 8-of-16 shooting, and added 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals. If you rolled the dice on big man this week, he came through tonight. He also scored 22 of his 24 points after halftime on Sunday, and he could post some monster lines if he decides to put two halves together at some point.

Sun Jan 22 201200:06Al Harrington scores 24 points in OT victory
Al Harrington scored 22 of his 24 points after halftime on Saturday, propelling the Nuggets to a thrilling road win in double-OT.
Harrington was just 10-of-24 from the field and 4-of-12 from downtown, but grabbed 11 rebounds and provided a huge spark for the Nuggets. It's a role he's reprising on a nightly basis, as he's averaging 14.9 points on stellar 55% shooting for the season.

Fri Jan 20 201222:34Al Harrington scores season-high 29 points
Al Harrington scored a season-high 29 points on Friday against the Wizards, hitting 10-of-16 shots from the field (including five threes) with seven rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 30 minutes off the bench.
Sure, Nene was gone, but Harrington has been producing all year and proving all of the doubters wrong so far, including us. We don't think his outlook appreciably changes based on one game, but he should be owned in all 12-team leagues with the effort.

Sat Jan 14 201209:25Harrington back into the swing
Al Harrington had a bounce-back effort on Friday, scoring 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting (including three treys) with two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 18 minutes off the bench.
He's back. Give Harrington a look if he has been dropped, as he has been one of the more consistent low-end producers in the league.

Tue Jan 10 201203:06Harrington scores just two points
Al Harrington scored just two points off the bench in Monday's loss to the Hornets, hitting 1-of-4 shots from the field with no rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes.
Harrington has cruised along making low minute counts and his bench role seem like minor nuisances, averaging 16 points and 1.3 threes per game with consistency to boot. We've been waiting for his age and injury history to show itself, though, and this could be the first sign he was playing over his head. Owners should probably give him at least one more outing to prove us wrong once again, however.

Sat Jan 7 201201:39Harrington cruising along for Nuggets
Al Harrington scored 14 points off the bench on Friday against the Hornets, hitting 6-of-10 shots from the field (including two threes) with six rebounds, one assist, and three steals in 23 minutes.
It feels like he can't keep it up, but until Kenneth Faried earns a consistent spot in the rotation Harrington has proven that he can. He claims his effectiveness is due to being healthy, but we still worry about his long-term health and conditioning after last year's injury-riddled campaign. Harrington should be owned in 12-team formats.

Fri Jan 6 201207:40Al Harrington attributes success to health
Al Harrington is attributing his bounce back season to being fully healthy.
"I'm healthy. That's it. I've been doing what I've been doing my whole career, at the end of the day," he said. Last year, Harrington had a plantar fascia strain, bad back, strained Achilles and dislocated thumb. Now fully healthy, Harrington is averaging 15.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 25 minutes per game.

Thu Jan 5 201201:22Harrington beats up on Kings on Wednesday
Al Harrington scored 15 points off the bench in the Nuggets' 110-83 blowout win over the Kings on Wednesday, hitting 7-of-10 shots from the field (including a three) with five rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 20 minutes.
Harrington has been producing enough to be owned and started in 12-team leagues, though gleaning anything from tonight's game is pointless as the Kings rolled over. While the run has been nice for Harrington and his owners, we're not so sure the injury risk can keep it up as the frontcourt gets crowded.

Tue Jan 3 201200:22Harrington heat check: 17 pts, 8 rebs on Mon
Al Harrington scored 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting (1-of-5 from deep) with eight rebounds in 29 minutes on Monday against the Bucks.
Nene (foot) was out and Harrington saw some extra minutes, but he has been hot over the last week and should be owned by somebody in your 12-team league while he keeps it up. Harrington is an injury risk and has a host of other red flags, so he'll fit best on a fantasy squad looking for short-term assistance.

Sun Jan 1 201223:09Al Harrington double-doubles off bench
Al Harrington had 12 points, 11 rebounds and hit all six of his free throws in Sunday's win over the Lakers.
He came in averaging 16 points, five boards and nearly two 3-pointers a game, and looks like a solid add off waivers in all leagues, despite coming off the bench.
