Sat Dec 31 201118:03Al Harrington scores 21 points for Denver
Al Harrington had another nice game off Denver's bench in Saturday's loss to L.A., scoring 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting (three 3-pointers), with three rebounds and one steal.
Harrington is averaging just over 20 minutes per game so it's hard to get too excited about his long-term value, but he's hot right now. Through four games he's shooting 52% from the field (7-of-19 from downtown) while averaging 2.0 steals per game. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Fri Dec 30 201102:43Harrington scores eight points in loss
Al Harrington scored eight points off the bench on Thursday, hitting 3-of-9 shots from the field (no threes) with five rebounds and two steals in 22 minutes.
Harrington's role off the bench is going to make him inconsistent, and he's not a must-own player by any stretch. He scored 18 points in two straight nights prior to tonight, so he's been making enough noise to get our attention.

Thu Dec 29 201100:28Harrington scores 18 in easy win
Al Harrington came off the bench for 18 points, seven rebounds, four steals and two 3-pointers on 8-of-11 shooting for the Nuggets.
That's two straight games of 18 points and he's also got 12 boards, five stals and three 3-pointers so far. He played 21 minutes in the blowout and is worth an add even though he's not starting.

Tue Dec 27 201104:32Harrington surprises with 18 points off bench
Al Harrington surprised with 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds and a steal in 22 minutes off the bench on Monday.
He missed preseason games because he was "dinged up" in George Karl's words, leaving Harrington's conditioning up for debate. We didn't notice any appreciative difference in his game, but during the blowout he was able to come and hit some shots. It'll take more than that for him to get our fantasy blessing, however.

Fri Dec 23 201102:27Harrington does not play in Thursday's game
Al Harrington did not play in Thursday's preseason game because he was "dinged up."
We don't know if that is code for Harrington being out of shape, but we wouldn't be surprised if he's on his last NBA legs in many respects. We're projecting a 16-20 minute role off the bench, if that.

Wed Dec 21 201115:17Harrington could miss Thursday's game
Al Harrington might miss Thursday's preseason game because he's "dinged up."
There's no specific injury to be concerned about, as the Nuggets are just being cautious with the veteran. Harrington is expected to be a reserve for Denver this season, but has some appeal in deeper leagues given his ability to get up a lot of shots in a little amount of time.

Wed Apr 13 201122:43Al Harrington returns to lineup, scores 15
Al Harrington (achilles) returned to action on Wednesday night and scored 15 points on 4-of-14 shooting with six rebounds, three assists and a steal in 34 minutes.
Harrington was buried on the Denver bench for most of the regular season, and owners that drafted him were left with a lot to be desired from the onset of the campaign.

Mon Apr 11 201114:06Al Harrington scratched from gave vs. GSW
Al Harrington (achilles) will not play in Monday's game against Golden State.
This is a bit of a surprise scatch and a let down for fantasy owners hoping to see Harrington take advantage of all the injuries to the rest of the Nuggets rotation. With Al Harrington out the Nuggets will rely even more heavily upon Kenyon Martin and Nene Hilario to hold down the front court.

Sun Apr 10 201101:25Harrington could step up if Gallo is out
Al Harrington scored 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting (0-for-4 from downtown) with four rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes off the bench on Saturday.
If Danilo Gallinari (ankle) misses either of the Nuggets' last two games, then Harrington will be worth a look depending on your team needs, though we'd want to get our hands on J.R. Smith (18 points, eight rebounds, six threes) first.

Thu Apr 7 201100:31Al Harrington scores 10 off Nuggets bench
Al Harrington played 19 minutes and hit 4-of-9 shots and two 3-pointers for 10 points and four rebounds Wednesday.
He's going to get some run as long as Chris Andersen is out with a sore ankle, but Andersen is hoping to return on Friday.

Sat Apr 2 201117:28Harrington game-time w/ Achilles injury
Al Harrington (Achilles) will be a game-time decision vs. the Lakers on Sunday.
Harrington had been scoring well off the bench in recent weeks, but unfortunately he aggravated his Achilles injury on Wednesday. He hasn't played 30+ minutes since early February, he's a streaky shooter, and he's injured -- avoid him if at all possible.

Thu Mar 31 201102:08Al Harrington suddenly scoring for Nuggets
Al Harrington played just 22 minutes Wednesday, but finished with 15 points and two rebounds on 7-of-19 shooting.
He's helped fill the gap left with injuries to Arron Afflalo, Wilson Chandler and Kenyon Martin, but we expect him to crawl back into his hole if Martin (flu) and Afflao (hamstring) play, as expected on Friday.

Sat Mar 26 201103:33Harrington scores 17 points off the bench
Al Harrington continued to score on Friday, hitting 8-of-16 shots for 17 points with three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 21 minutes off the bench.
One of the reasons that the Nuggets gave Wilson Chandler (ankle) the night off was Harrington's strong play as of late, but the crowded rotation is enough to keep standard league owners from jumping on board. If you're in a deeper league, however, he could be worth a look if you're in a pinch.

Thu Mar 24 201102:54Al Harrington explodes for 27 points
Al Harrington came off the bench and poured in 8-of-12 shots and 5-of-6 threes on his way to 27 points, three boards and a steal Wednesday.
We're not sure where this came from, but he is getting over his achilles' injury. He played 28 minutes in the absence of Arron Afflalo (hamstring), but has been very inconsistent this season. He's worth keeping an eye on, but J.R. Smith looks like a better short-term fantasy player until Afflalo is back.

Tue Mar 22 201104:26Harrington (Achilles) explodes during blowout
Al Harrington (Achilles) returned to action in Monday's massive blowout win over the Raptors, and scored 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting (including two threes) with six rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 22 minutes.
The Nuggets carried a 41-point lead at one point, and there is nothing to be gleaned from this game other than that the Raptors have mailed it in much worse than we thought they had. Gary Forbes also scored 14 points in 17 minutes, in another performance that should just be forgotten.

Al Harrington (Achilles) did not play on Saturday against the Heat.
It's also possible he has simply fallen out of the rotation, but we'll mark him sidelined until we learn that he's fully healthy and not playing. Should he fall out of the rotation or stay injured, the crowded group in Denver will gain about 15 minutes per game.

Fri Mar 18 201118:25Al Harrington listed as inactive on Friday
Al Harrington is on the Nuggets' inactive list on Friday, presumably clearing a spot for the return of Danilo Gallinari.
The trade that shipped out Carmelo Anthony also deepened the Nuggets' rotation considerably, and has bumped Harrington's fantasy value from 'very shaky' to 'useless'.
