Mon Apr 30 201201:40Al Harrington struggles in Game 1 loss
Al Harrington, returning from a knee injury, finished Denver's loss on Sunday with 10 points and five rebounds in 22 minutes.
This looked more like 'bad Al' as he shot just 4-of-14 from the field and (even with the Nuggets trailing by double-digits) forced numerous inefficient one-on-one plays. The good news is that his knee wasn't an issue.

Thu Apr 26 201200:03Al Harrington plays through sore knee
Al Harrington played through a sore knee Wednesday and had 10 points and five rebounds in 23 minutes.

Tue Apr 24 201216:07Al Harrington to play Wednesday, not Thursday
Al Harrington (knee) is expected to play on Wednesday and then rest on Thursday.
Harrington is gutting it out through a torn meniscus and there's little reason for him to play on both sides of a back-to-back with the playoffs starting this weekend. Look for 23-28 minutes on Tuesday.

Mon Apr 23 201209:03Al Harrington won't play both sides of b2b
Coach George Karl said that Al Harrington (knee) probably won't play in both sides of the Nuggets' back-to-back this week.
The Nuggets wrap up the season with a back-to-back road set in Oklahoma City on Wednesday and in Minnesota on Thursday. With the playoffs set to start on Saturday, Harrington will rest his ailing knee in one of those games.

Sun Apr 22 201219:10Al Harrington (knee) out on Sunday
Al Harrington (torn meniscus) will not play on Sunday against the Magic.
The Nuggets have locked up a playoff spot which means Harrington will be given a chance to rest his ailing knee. The Nuggets finish out the season with a back-to-back starting Wednesday against the Thunder, and it's unlikely that Harrington will play in both of those games.

Tue Apr 17 201203:23Harrington goes for 15 and nine vs. Rockets
Al Harrington (torn meniscus) scored 15 points on 4-of-11 shooting (including three treys) with nine rebounds and three steals in 28 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Harrington specifically mentioned rebounding as an issue and had just one rebound on Friday, and then had a major red flag outing we didn't blurb on Sunday of five points, four boards, and 2-of-9 shooting. Maybe he's feeling better, or more likely, he poured it on in a must-win game against the Rockets.

Fri Apr 13 201206:49Al Harrington discusses how knee impacts him
Al Harrington (torn meniscus) said that his injury most impacts his ability to rebound.
George Karl has said that he'll put Harrington on a "pitch count" for the rest of the way, so owners have to realize there is a ceiling as to what he'll be able to do. He played 22 minutes in his last game with 11 points (three treys) and four rebounds, and owners will have to use him at their own risk.

Thu Apr 12 201201:44Al Harrington scores 11 in return
Al Harrington played through his knee injury on Wednesday and had 11 points, four boards and three 3-pointers in 22 minutes.
He was noticeably limping during the game, but plans to keep playing through the injury after doctors told him he won't do anymore damage by continuing to play. The Nuggets play four games next week, but Harrington could give into the pain at any time. Start him at your own risk.

Wed Apr 11 201219:41Al Harrington very iffy for Wednesday
Al Harrington is currently driving back to Denver after visiting his doctor in Vail, meaning he might not be back in time to play against the Timberwolves.
George Karl doesn't sound thrilled about playing Harrington on his bum knee to begin with, so he could easily miss tonight's game. If he does, Kenneth Faried, JaVale McGee and Corey Brewer could all see a boost.

Wed Apr 11 201207:44Al Harrington could have reduced role
Al Harrington (torn meniscus) could be looking at a reduced role going forward.
Although Harrington is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, George Karl said that "we're just going to have to observe and read." If Harrington is unable to stay on the court due to his injury, Corey Brewer's role would increase off the bench. It's worth noting that Harrington played just 12 minutes on Monday.

Al Harrington (torn meniscus) will explore his treatment options before making a decision on surgery.

Tue Apr 10 201200:42Report: Al Harrington suffers torn meniscus
Al Harrington left Monday's game during the third quarter and did not return, and tests showed after the game that he has suffered a torn meniscus in his knee.
It's unclear which knee the injury occurred on, but Harrington revealed that he has already been playing on a different torn meniscus. Surgery hasn't been discussed yet, but the doctors are trying to figure out a treatment plan with just over two weeks to go before the playoffs. "I'm going to stay in the race," Harrington said, but our guess is that rest is first line-item on a non-surgical treatment plan. More minutes will go to the peanut gallery of Andre Miller, Kenneth Faried, JaVale McGee, and Corey Brewer.

Al Harrington made five more 3-pointers in Saturday's game, finishing a loss to the Warriors with 19 points, four rebounds and one assist.
The Nuggets need all the scoring they can get from Harrington, especially while Wilson Chandler (groin) and Danilo Gallinari (thumb) are still out of commission. Gallo is due back on Monday, but there's still no timetable for Chandler's return.

Sun Apr 1 201220:40Al Harrington leads Nuggets bench w/ 18 pts
Al Harrington led the Nuggets' second unit with 18 points in Sunday's road win, making 7-of-14 FGs, two 3s, and 2-of-3 FTs.
The absence of Wilson Chandler can only help Harrington's role in the Nuggets' offense, and Danilo Gallinari still hasn't returned to practice. Not to rain on anyone's parade, but it's worth noting that Denver only has three games next week.

Fri Mar 16 201209:42Denver listing Al Harrington as day-to-day
The Nuggets are listing Al Harrington (knee) as day-to-day
Denver is simply calling it a contusion for the time being, but the veteran forward will almost certainly undergo further evaluation before an official diagnosis is given. Until we have a definitive idea of what Harrington is dealing with, owners should keep him benched.
