Thu Mar 27 2014 | 22:43 | Danny Granger goes to the locker room |
Danny Granger went to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Thursday's game vs. Dallas. |
It's unclearly with what's wrong, but it doesn't sound serious. Stay tuned for an update. |

Sat Mar 15 2014 | 00:30 | Danny Granger plays just 17 minutes |
Danny Granger didn't score in his 17 minutes of action against the Jazz with five boards. |
He missed all four of his shots and none of them were 3-pointers. Granger is really only good as a catch and shoot guy, but he can't even do that very well. Fantasy owners can ignore him in most formats. |

Thu Mar 13 2014 | 01:42 | Granger scores 18 points with Crawford out |
Danny Granger scored 18 points with Jamal Crawford (calf) out on Wednesday, hitting 7-of-11 shooting (including two threes) with six rebounds and one block in 24 minutes. |
Granger enhances his profile a bit after this outing but he's still tied to Crawford's day-to-day status as a fantasy asset. He's still only a deep league play until he can give one more good outing after a year of looking mostly terrible on the court. |

Tue Mar 11 2014 | 02:05 | Granger scores 14 points with two threes |
Danny Granger scored 14 points in 23 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Suns, hitting 5-of-11 shots (including two threes) with two rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block. |
Granger could have some low-level value in deeper leagues while Jamal Crawford is out but that's about it. |

Fri Mar 7 2014 | 01:41 | Danny Granger scores 10 in 18 minutes |
Danny Granger played 18 minutes and hit 4-of-8 shots for 10 points in Thursday's ridiculous 142-94 win over the Lakers. |
This was easily his best game for the Clippers, and while he's worth keeping an eye on, he's still not worth owning in most leagues. He probably wouldn't have gotten more than five minutes had this one not been a blowout. |

Wed Mar 5 2014 | 01:13 | Danny Granger gets four minutes in debut |
Danny Granger made his Clippers debut on Tuesday, playing four minutes and failing to score with one rebound and one turnover. |
He'll likely see more minutes as he gets acclimated with the team, but there's really little reason to stash him and hope he gets it going. Granger is not the same player as he was two years ago, can't get his own shot and his 3-point shot isn't falling. |

Fri Feb 28 2014 | 17:32 | Clippers officially sign Danny Granger |
Clippers sign G/F Danny Granger. |
The team certainly needs some help on the wing with their lack of depth due to some growing concerns of J.J. Redick (back). Granger still is shooting just 29 percent on his jump shots and has dunked the ball just once all year, so the production has dropped significantly compared to 2011-12. He's also shooting just 34 percent on his catch-and-shoot attempts from deep, which figures to be his primary role. He can be left on the wire in standard leagues for now. |

Fri Feb 28 2014 | 00:49 | Danny Granger set to join Clippers |
Danny Granger is going to sign with the Clippers on Friday, according to the Indianapolis Star. |
They were the obvious frontrunners and the injury to Jamal Crawford (calf) seemed like it made it abundantly clear that the Clippers were the right fit. Granger has been a shell of himself this season, so he's hardly a must-grab player with this news. Unless his 3-point shot magically comes back, he won't put up top-150 value in standard leagues. |

Thu Feb 27 2014 | 03:53 | Danny Granger could help Clippers soon |
Danny Granger sounds like he may be heading to the Clippers once he clears waivers on Friday and the timing is interesting, as Jamal Crawford left Wednesday's game with a calf injury. |
Darren Collison is the guy to grab if Crawford is going to miss time, but Granger could also make some noise. He will likely challenge Matt Barnes for minutes at small forward, but could also be called upon to help fill in for Crawford if he's going to miss time. Granger's far from a must-own player at this point, but owners in deep leagues may want to give him a look in case Doc Rivers decides to throw him into the fire next week - assuming he signs with the Clippers. |

Wed Feb 26 2014 | 17:17 | Clippers are frontrunners for Danny Granger |
The Clippers are the frontrunners for Danny Granger once he clears waivers on Friday. |
The Spurs are also in the mix for his services while the Heat, Bulls, Rockets and Mavericks have been mentioned as possible destinations. Granger has not been the same player this season and really can't get his own shot. In fact, he's shot just 27.3 percent on isolation players this season and doesn't come off screens like he used to. Now that he's officially not with the Sixers, he has very little fantasy value. |

Wed Feb 26 2014 | 09:21 | Spurs, Clippers may vie for Danny Granger |
The Spurs and Clippers may have interest in Danny Granger if he's bought out by the 76ers this week. |
Granger has no interest in playing for the Sixers, whose 15-42 record is second-worst in the NBA, and he'll be free to join a contender if he's released by Saturday. His perimeter shooting gives him a glimmer of upside but fantasy owners should be leery of his limited playing time and shaky FG percentage -- he hasn't shot better than 42.8 percent since the 2008-09 season. |

Tue Feb 25 2014 | 09:50 | Danny Granger buyout could come Tuesday |
Danny Granger could be bought out by the 76ers on Tuesday. |
The newly-acquired Granger reportedly wants to play for a contender, which could lead to the Sixers to buy out the former All-Star sooner rather than later as he needs to be on another team's roster in order to be eligible for the playoffs. Whether he next plays in Philadelphia or elsewhere, Granger likely won't be more than a role player this season so fantasy owners in all but the deepest of leagues can cut bait if they haven't already. |

Mon Feb 24 2014 | 17:36 | Decision on Danny Granger in next 24 hours |
Coach Brett Brown said the decision on Danny Granger could come in the next 24 hours, but he will not play on Monday. |
He is not at the arena for the game and all the circumstantial evidence has Granger with one foot out the door. The Sixers will have to go with a combination of Tony Wroten, James Anderson and Hollis Thompson on the wings. Granger can be cut loose in most leagues. |

Mon Feb 24 2014 | 16:24 | Danny Granger doesn't practice Monday |
Danny Granger did not practice and may not play vs. the Bucks on Monday. |
He has yet to practice with his new team and signs point to the veteran wanting a buyout. If true, Granger is probably going to hurt his wallet in the future because teams are going to be very apprehensive about giving his a big contract based on his body of work in Indiana this season. He can't score on his own this year and playing with the Sixers would at least give him a chance to redeem himself. If you picked him up and there's a hot free agent out there, it's probably safe to jump ship. |

Sun Feb 23 2014 | 13:50 | Brett Brown to have meeting with Granger |
76ers coach Brett Brown is to have a meeting with newly acquired Danny Granger to discuss his possible role with the team. |
Granger was reportedly "pissed" upon being traded from one of the leagues best teams, to a team with players the D-League might pass on. It's unlikely Danny remains with the team as he clearly would prefer to be bought out and sign with a contender, but that's not something he has total control over. If Granger is to stay with Philly he could have some decent fantasy appeal as one of the few NBA scorers on the team, but his status as of now is very uncertain. Feel free to pick him up if you have a free roster spot, but know that a bench role on a contender is not likely to result in much, if any, fantasy value. |

Sat Feb 22 2014 | 12:29 | Danny Granger undergoing physical w/ 76ers |
Danny Granger underwent a physical exam with the Sixers on Saturday. |
He would have to pass his physical before playing and the fact he's actually in Philadelphia could be a sign that he will play for them. But as far as we know, Granger wants to be bought out so he can sign with a contender. If he stays and plays in Philly he'll be worth picking up in fantasy leagues, but if he signs with a top team, other than the Clippers, he'll have a bench role similar to the one he had in Indiana. |

Fri Feb 21 2014 | 12:37 | Sixers non-committal on Danny Granger buyout |
GM Sam Hinkie was non-committal Friday when asked if newly acquired Danny Granger will be bought out. |
Granger obviously doesn't want to play out the season with the tanking Sixers, preferring a buyout so he can sign with a contender such as the Heat, Thunder or Spurs. But it's not that simple, as the Hinkie might want to hold onto the impending unrestricted free agent as an asset for a potential sign-and-trade this summer. Granger would also lose his Bird Rights if he takes a buyout. "We'll meet with (Granger). ... It's going to be interesting. We're going to sit and talk," Hinkie said. Even if Granger does stay in Philly, there's no guarantee he'll actually take the court. The Sixers want to lose games and get their young players as much experience as possible. Granger, 30 years old and a shell of himself thanks to knee woes, is not part of the future. |

Thu Feb 20 2014 | 15:38 | Danny Granger dealt for Evan Turner, Allen |
The Pacers sent Danny Granger to the Sixers in exchange for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen at Thursday's deadline. |
Granger has been a shell of himself all season and has been unable to get his own shot. He doesn't look athletic at all this season and he's not a very good fit for the Sixers' uptempo offense. That said, he did play 40 minutes back on Feb. 7 when Lance Stephenson had to sit, so he's still able to play big minutes. Granger is worth an add in standard leagues based on the lack of scoring in Philadelphia right now. |

Thu Feb 20 2014 | 11:58 | Pacers could be shopping Danny Granger |
The Pacers may be shopping Danny Granger, according to Brian Windhorst. |
That's it, as in that's all we know. The same could probably be said about 75 percent of NBA players, but it does make sense that the Pacers would like to move him, as the Paul George thing seems to be panning out. However it would be surprising if Granger is actually moved today. |

Wed Feb 12 2014 | 22:27 | Danny Granger scores 13 points vs. Mavericks |
Danny Granger was one of five Pacers in double-figures on Wednesday, scoring 13 points with three 3-pointers, five rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes off the bench. |
Granger's minutes have held steady around 20 per game and that's simply not enough for him to help owners in standard fantasy leagues -- he's shooting 35.6 percent from the field on the season and is barely clearing top-200 value in the past month. Indiana has dropped games to Dallas (at home) and Orlando (on the road) in the past week, and they're probably relieved to have six days to regroup during the All-Star break. |
