Casspi finished with 10 points (5-8 FG, 0-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets.
Casspi was playing in his fourth game since returning from his knee injury that costed him about two and a half weeks in early January. After playing less than 10 minutes in his last two games, it was a very good sign for his knee that he played a full 19 minutes Wednesday. He's averaging 17 minutes per game this season, so it should mean that he's over his knee injury and ready to play without a minutes restriction moving forward. On the season he's averaging 7.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists so he's only worth a look in deeper leagues.

He's also dealing with some lingering effects of the knee injury that cost him a chunk of games earlier in the month, but despite the ailments, he remains likely to play Monday. Casspi has proven to be a valuable bench player when healthy, and he averaged 8.7 points and 3.4 rebounds while shooting 53.6 percent from the field in November -- his only fully healthy month.

Casspi (knee) is listed as probable to play against the Clippers since he continues to feel some lingering effects from the injury that kept him on the sidelines for all of January, despite making a comeback Friday against the Heat.
Casspi played 17 minutes against the Heat on Friday, and while it's a good sign overall that he was able to overcome his longstanding knee injury, letting him play in back-to-back games is still a little troubling for the Kings' staff. Nevertheless, his listing on the pregame injury report may just end up being precautionary when considering that a probable designation means the player has a 75 percent chance of playing.

Although he's healthy now, Casspi has a very limited role on the Kings, and is averaging 18.2 minutes per game this year with 7.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists. Unless he's making a spot start, Casspi isn't a consistent fantasy option.
