Stoudemire (rest) will play Thursday against the Wizards, Newsday reports.

Stoudemire was rested for Sunday's game against the Raptors but was expected to return for Thursday's game. That indeed appears to be the case, and he should be fine to play his regular minutes in the game.

Stoudemire, who is resting Sunday, is expected to return to the lineup against the Wizards on Christmas Day, Newsday reports.

Stoudemire was given the weekend off by coach Derek Fisher to procure his long-term status for the rest of the season. With the added rest ahead of Christmas Day, the veteran could be in for a rejuvenated performance.

Stoudemire (rest) will not play Sunday against the Raptors, Newsday reports.

This will be the second-straight game that Stoudemire will sit for rest. His next opportunity to get on the court will be against the Wizards on Christmas Day.

Stoudemire will not play Saturday, The Record's Steve Popper reports.

He will get a rest day as the team travels to Toronto for the second game of a back-to-back Sunday. Quincy Acy and Cole Aldrich will start in the frontcourt Saturday.

Stoudemire scored 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 FT) and added six rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocks in 31 minutes of play against the Bulls on Thursday.

Stoudemire is playing well. Over the last week he has averaged 13.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 2.0 steals and 1.7 blocks. He is putting up numbers in all categories. He is going to continue to get minutes while the Knicks attempt to salvage something and he is close to a double-double on most nights. He's hard to argue with at this point.

Stoudemire will play Thursday and is in the starting lineup against the Bulls.

Stoudemire was initially going to receive a day of rest in the middle of three games in five nights for the Knicks, but with the team becoming shorthanded in the front court, he will indeed play and start. He could also be in line for a big workload with Carmelo Anthony (ankle) out Thursday, but will face a tough matchup with Pau Gasol and likely Joakim Noah.

Stoudemire, who's missed only one game this season, will take the night off as the Knicks are in the midst of a three-games-in-five-nights set. All signs point to him returning to action when New York hosts Phoenix on Saturday.

Stoudemire scored 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-2 FT) with 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks against the Blazers on Sunday.

Over his last seven games, Stoudemire is averaging 15 points, nine rebounds and a block. You cannot argue with these numbers. He should be owned in almost every league - anyone who is averaging a double-double and a block is must owned player.

Stoudemire shifted down to start at center against Cleveland on Thursday and had a solid outing that consisted of 18 points, nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block during 30 minutes on the court.

With Samuel Dalembert relegated to a role off the bench Thursday, Stoudemire made the move down to center with Quincy Acy jumping into the starting lineup at power forward. Both Stoudemire and Acy played well in a close game against the Cavaliers, so this might be the order of things moving forward, at least until proven ineffective.

Stoudemire will start at center against the Cavs on Thursday.

Stoudemire started Tuesday's game at power forward, but will draw in at center in place of Samuel Dalembert Thursday. He has been on a good stretch offensively lately, including a 17-point, nine-rebound outing Tuesday.

Stoudemire joined the starting lineup and put up 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-7 FT) with nine rebounds in 37 minutes in the loss to the Nets on Tuesday.

Stoudemire also played 37 minutes on Sunday in the loss to the Heat and he has averaged 18.7 points and 10.3 rebounds in his last three games. If he shows he can handle extra minutes, he should be helpful in points, field goal percentage, and rebounds for the struggling Knicks.

Stoudemire is in the starting lineup at power forward Tuesday, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.

Stoudemire will make his third start of the season, replacing Quincy Acy at power forward. The veteran has strung together several solid performances of late, including 19 points and 12 rebounds in 37 minuets against the Heat on Sunday.

Stoudemire posted a double-double Sunday against the Heat, adding 19 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-8 FT) to go with 12 rebounds, one assist, and one block in 37 minutes of action.

Stoudemire is averaging 14.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks on 61 percent shooting from the field over the last five games. He's been playing surprisingly well this season, and he has yet to suffer any injuries. The veteran can put up efficient numbers when healthy, but his track record over the past seasons still raises concerns as to how sustainable his production will be. Still, owners who plucked him out of the waivers can continue to ride on his production in standard leagues or deeper.

Stoudemire scored 19 points (7-9 FG, 5-6 FT) in 20 minutes off the bench on Wednesday. He also had three rebounds and three turnovers in the blowout loss to the Timberwolves.

Stoudemire has looked like his vintage self at times this season. He has trained with all-time great Hakeem Olajuwon the past few off-seasons, and has added a nice back-to-the-basket spin move to his offensive repertoire. The Knicks won't push his minutes in games they are losing and he'll get games off from time to time, limiting his fantasy value dramatically. Stoudemire should be left on the waiver wire in all fantasy leagues at this point in time.

Stoudemire (rest) will not play in Friday's game against the Jazz.

Stoudemire will most likely have a rest day here and there this year, as the Knicks want to keep him healthy for the full season. He should return and resume his regular role coming off the bench against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.

Stoudemire will come off the bench Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal's Chris Herring reports.

Coach Derek Fisher wants to start Jason Smith next to Samuel Dalembert to combat the front line of the Detroit Pistons. Stoudemire will be looking to score as the anchor of the second unit, so this probably won't have a significant negative effect on his fantasy value.

This marks Stoudemire's second game in a row with double-digit rebounds. Comparing the modern Stoudemire to his younger self stopped being a meaningful or productive exercise years ago. Instead, owners show assess at the player that exists today: a solid rebounder, a reasonably efficient shooter, and someone who is usually within reach of a double-double. He's only playing around 25 minutes per game, which limits his ability to produce on any given night, but it also decreases his likelihood to get injured. 2014-15's Stoudemire looks like a reasonable waiver wire candidate in standard leagues, and someone who should probably be owned in most deeper leagues.

The Knicks had said in the past that they wanted to give Stoudemire 30 minutes per game, but Quincy Acy and Jason Smith were both candidates to start at power forward. While most of the Knicks' lineup struggled, Stoudemire pulled down eight boards, scored 12 points and tacked on a block and a steal. He also gave the Knicks the lead for most of the first quarter, making his first four shots, but the Bulls pulled away in the third quarter. Stoudemire can expect to start on a nightly basis now as long as he's healthy.

The Knicks have said they plan to give Stoudemire close to 30 minutes per game this season, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that he will get the start, especially considering how offensively challenged starting center Samuel Dalembert is.

Stoudemire (rest) won't play in Friday's preseason game.

Coach Derek Fisher intimated Friday that Jason Smith and Samuel Dalembert would likely be his starting frontcourt on opening night, so it seems the Knicks will continue to limit Stoudemire's minutes into the regular season.
