Johnson doubled to left in the bottom of the fourth inning, his second double of the game, but was replaced at third by Phil Gosselin to begin the sixth. While Johnson is also 0-for-11 to begin September, he should continue playing on a near-everyday basis, after the Braves signed him to a three-year extension back in May.

Sun Jul 13 201420:11Johnson has three hits, 3 RBI to down Cubs
Chris Johnson had three hits -- including a home run -- three RBI and three runs scored in the Braves' 10-7 win over the Cubs on Sunday.
It's been a big few days for the third baseman, who's got three home runs, seven RBI and five runs scored over the past two games. The strong finish to the first half leaves Johnson with a .277/.301/.378 line. Johnson hit 15 home runs in 488 at-bats in 2012, so maybe the sudden outburst bodes well for his power production in the second half.
