SEATTLE (AP) — Right-handed starter Erasmo Ramirez and righty reliever Dan Altavilla have been put on the 10-day disabled list by the Seattle Mariners.Right-hander Casey Lawrence and outfielder Guillermo Heredia were recalled Tuesday from Tacoma of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League.Ramirez strained his teres major, a muscle in his right rotator cuff, and Mariners manager Scott Servais said he likely will miss at least a month. (AP) — Left-hander Wade LeBlanc has rejoined the Seattle Mariners, two days after he asked for his release from the New York Yankees.The Mariners signed the 33-year-old LeBlanc on Sunday.LeBlanc made 50 relief appearances for Pittsburgh last season, going 5-2 with one save and a 4.50 ERA.LeBlanc was 3-0 with one save and a 4.50 ERA for Seattle in 2016, making eight starts and pitching three times in relief. LeBlanc agreed to a contract with the Seibu Lions of Japan's Pacific League, Jon Morosi of Fox Sports reports.

The Angels declined to tender LeBlanc earlier in December, officially making him a free agent. The 30-year-old had a decent season in 2014 with a 3.94 ERA in 11 games combined with the Angels and Yankees, but he's decided to go overseas rather than try his luck in the majors again next year.

The Angels declined to tender LeBlanc a contract.

LeBlanc posted respectable numbers (3.45 ERA, 1.08 WHIP) in 10 appearances (three starts) with the Angels last season, and was likely to command less than $1 million in his first year of arbitration, but the Angels weren't interested in paying that price. The lefty will look to land a specialist's role with another club.

LeBlanc threw 5.1 scoreless innings to pick up a win over the A's on Tuesday. He struck out one, walked one, and allowed five hits in the contest.

Tuesday marked the second consecutive strong start for LeBlanc, who notched 5.2 scoreless frames against the Mariners last week. The 30-year-old was likely considered little more than depth after he was shellacked by the Marlins to the tune of six runs over 3.1 innings while filling in for Garrett Richards (knee) at the end of August, but it seems the Angels could look to the lefty in the postseason due to the uncertainty surrounding their rotation. He has allowed just one run in 17 innings since being recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sept. 2.

LeBlanc will start Tuesday against the A's, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.

Filling in for Jered Weaver, who was scratched after the team secured the AL West title Wednesday night, LeBlanc scattered three hits over 5.2 scoreless innings against the Mariners on Thursday. He in turn earned another start, but he's had trouble against the A's this season, with six earned runs allowed over just 7.1 innings.

LeBlanc will start Thursday against the Mariners, Pedroa Moura of the Orange County Register reports.

The plan was for LeBlanc to start Saturday in place of Matt Shoemaker (oblique), but after the team secured the NL West title Wednesday night, manager Mike Scioscia changed course. Scioscia will now start LeBlanc on Thursday and push Weaver back, likely to Sunday or Monday, lining him up to start the opener of the ALDS.

LeBlanc will start Saturday against the Rangers, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

An oblique strain will prevent Matt Shoemaker from taking the hill, thus opening the door for LeBlanc to make his second start for the big club this season. He'll oppose right-hander Lisalverto Bonilla, who will be filling in for Scott Baker (triceps). LeBlanc has struggled to the tune of a 6.88 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in 17 major league innings this season, and almost certainly will not be included on the team's postseason roster.

LeBlanc was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.

Apparently, the club has had a change of heart regarding LeBlanc, as they DFA'd him just a week ago. The 30-year-old lefty posted a 4.43 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 22 starts (128 innings) for Salt Lake, but Anaheim is short on left-handed relievers.

LeBlanc cleared waivers Thursday and accepted his outright assignment to Triple-A Salt Lake, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

LeBlanc was DFA'd for the sixth time in 14 months Tuesday, after he bombed in a spot start against the Marlins on Monday. The Angels will explore other options as their fifth starter in September while LeBlanc languishes in the minors.

LeBlanc was designated for assignment Tuesday, the Orange County Register's Jeff Fletcher reports.

This takes him out of the running for the open start Saturday, and it's not surprising considering he was rocked for six earned runs on seven hits and three walks in 3.1 innings Monday. He will likely pass through waivers and head to Triple-A Salt Lake, before possibly rejoining the club in September.

LeBlanc took a pounding from the Marlins on Monday, allowing six runs on seven hits in just 3.1 innings en route to his first loss of the season.

LeBlanc was recalled as the first pitcher to attempt to fill Garrett Richards' (knee) spot in the rotation, and based on the strength of this performance, he may not be the last. There is no word on whether the left-hander will get another shot to take the mound, as manager Mike Scioscia told Matthew DeFranks of MLB.com after the game that he is "not looking to the next start" at this point.

LeBlanc is on track to start Monday against the Marlins, MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez reports.

The Angels may end up opting to use LeBlanc as a long man out of the bullpen if necessary during their games Thursday and Friday, but otherwise, he'll get the first crack at replacing Garrett Richards in the rotation. Richards' outstanding numbers would cast a large shadow for anyone to fill, but LeBlanc looks particularly ill-equipped to take his spot. The 30-year-old has bounced around several organizations the last couple of seasons and owns a 4.56 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 424 career innings in the majors.

LeBlanc has been recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake, the Orange County Register reports.

LeBlanc will initially be available out of the bullpen and could be in line to start Monday's game against Miami in place of Garrett Richards (knee). The 30-year-old has logged 21 starts at Triple-A Salt Lake this season, going 10-3 with a 4.00 ERA over 123.2 innings. In one major league appearance for the Angles back in May, LeBlanc allowed four earned runs on six hits over 6.1 innings.
