Wade LeBlanc declined his assignment to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and elected free agency.

The veteran southpaw was outrighted off the Yankees roster early on Sunday after allowing six runs over his first 7 1/3 innings. He'll attempt to latch on elsewhere, but may have to settle for a minor league deal.

It's not surprising to see LeBlanc moved back to the bullpen, as he's been one of the worst pitchers in all of baseball this season. Through his seven starts, LeBlanc posted a 6.11 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 25/12 K/BB ratio over 35 1/3 innings. He no longer holds any fantasy value.

The Marlins don't have many options, but LeBlanc's rotation spot has to be in jeopardy. He's currently slated to face the Dodgers this weekend.
