Sun May 9 2010 | 17:41 | Padres' Stauffer goes five scoreless |
Tim Stauffer hurled five shutout innings against the Astros on Sunday but was credited with a no-decision. |
Filling in for the suddenly unavailable Kevin Correia, Stauffer left his bullpen a 3-0 lead that they couldn't hold on to for four innings. Stauffer didn't walk a batter in the impressive outing, though he did give up six hits while striking out just one batter. Stauffer has been lights out while working from the bullpen this season, and he's likely to head back there once Correia returns. |
