Sat Mar 23 201317:07Nate McLouth hitting .216 this spring
Nate McLouth went 0-for-3 from the leadoff spot on Saturday, leaving him with a .216 average this spring.
McLouth was quite an asset in 55 games for the Orioles last season, but also quite a liability for the Braves and Pirates the 2 1/2 seasons prior. The Orioles will likely have McLouth and Nolan Reimold share left field early on this season, but it might be for the best if Reimold wins the everyday job at some point.

He projects to share playing time with Nolan Reimold in left field next season and could have value in five-outfielder mixed fantasy leagues.

Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette said talks between the club and Joe Saunders and Nate McLouth are "a little slow" right now.

Sat Oct 13 201212:24McLouth hoping to return with Orioles
Nate McLouth told reporters Friday that he hopes to return with the Orioles next season.
McLouth was the Orioles' everyday left fielder after being released by the Pirates midseason. Coming off strong finish to 2012, he could draw interest on the free agent market. With Nick Markakis (wrist) and Nolan Reimold (neck) expected to be medically cleared for spring training, the Orioles may view McLouth as expendable, depending on his contract demands.

Sat Oct 6 201200:00McLouth shines, O's top Rangers for Wild Card

He then lined a two-out, run-scoring single to left in the seventh inning that increased the O's advantage to 3-1.
