RHP Wily Peralta (5-2) may be working out of the bullpen, but he's still picking up victories for the Brewers. The former starter struck out five in a scoreless seventh and eighth inning to get the win on Friday against the Cubs. "I was a little nervous the first time running down to the mound," said Peralta (5-2), who moved to the bullpen this week. "It felt a little bit different, but it's a normal game. You still have to go out there and keep making pitches even though you're not starting."

RHP Wily Peralta, who has a 6.08 ERA in eight starts, is being bumped from the rotation to the bullpen. "We decided it was time to move Wily," Brewers manager Craig Counsell said. "There are ways we think it can help us and it can help Wily. We think his skills will play very well down there. It's a big change for him, and it's not easy to make that transition during the season."

RHP Wily Peralta failed again to get out of the fifth inning Sunday and allowed seven runs -- six earned -- on seven hits and a walk with one strikeout in an 11-9 victory the New York Mets. Peralta started the season 3-0 with a 2.65 ERA but in his last five starts, Peralta has gone 1-2 and has allowed 22 earned runs in 23 innings of work with seven home runs.
