Thu May 12 201122:39Sean O'Sullivan wins second
Sean O'Sullivan did enough to pick up his second win Thursday, holding the Yankees to four runs on six hits and two walks over 6 2/3 innings in the 11-5 win.
Another solid, workmanlike effort from O'Sullivan, who keeps defying the odds despite what is now a 14/16 K/BB ratio over 35 2/3 innings this season. He now boasts a 2.84 ERA over five starts and a 3.79 ERA and 1.29 WHIP overall. He'll get the Indians his next time out.

Sun Apr 24 201112:04Sean O'Sullivan will be skipped over
The Royals will skip Sean O'Sullivan's next turn in the rotation.
O'Sullivan's next turn would have come on Wednesday, but Thursday's off day allows the Royals to skip him over and keep everyone else on regular rest. The right-hander has been surprisingly effective in his two starts thus far, giving up two runs over 11 innings. He'll be available out of the bullpen until his next turn comes up.

Thu Apr 21 201123:17Sean O'Sullivan solid again for Royals
Sean O'Sullivan gave the Royals another nice effort Thursday, limiting the Indians to two runs on five hits and three walks over six innings in the 3-2 win.
He also struck out six. O'Sullivan has now given up just the two runs over 11 innings in his two starts. Though we don't expect it to continue, he's likely bought himself some more time in the rotation while Vin Mazzaro works on things at Triple-A. He'll go up against the Indians again next week.

Sat Apr 16 201116:02O'Sullivan tosses five shutout frames in win
Sean O'Sullivan tossed five shutout innings in Saturday's win over the Mariners.
It must be pretty exciting to see the Mariners on the schedule if you're a starting pitcher these days. O'Sullivan entered Saturday's start with a 5.81 ERA in the big leagues, including an 11.25 ERA over his first two starts this season. Needless to say, we're not giving much credence to today's outing. Avoid him moving forward.

Mon Apr 11 201120:12O'Sullivan to start Friday vs. Mariners
Sean O'Sullivan will start Friday against the Mariners.
Vin Mazzaro was originally expected to get the call, but the Royals want to give him a couple more starts at the Triple-A level. We'd normally say a matchup against the Mariners is attractive, but O'Sullivan has a 5.81 ERA over 139 1/3 major league innings. He's not a recommended fantasy option.
